I like the innovative way to run a Q & A at the end, sort of an unannounced audience participation part of the show. Run it too soon, and the whole show devolves into too much heckling. Start it up late enough, though, and if it's good you can keep it going; but if it's unfunny or abusive or boring, then Tim can say "Good Night!" I think people who are having a good time want to join in: they also want to talk. Tim is tapping in to this desire. What he did to Ben Avery was unconscionable.
@@hughjass1835 what's truly funny is that, while watching this, i was thinking "man, maybe the audience would laugh more if they were smarter and had more context to define their worldviews with" and then you come along and admit you don't have enough life experience to understand the jokes lol

The crowd work concept at the end is smart, cuz he clearly already knew what he would say for each ice cream brand but let the crowd pick theirs and have him talk, so he gets crowd work but he doesn’t have to think on the spot too much, and it’s not cheating or lame I just think it’s a cool way to do it. That's a concept called 'multiple outs' where you give someone the illusion of choice, but all the possible outcomes are accounted for already. Great device usage.

Thrifty, where you can get ice cream alongside mothers who traded in their WIC checks for cigarette money (but seriously, I have good memories from the very few times I went there for ice cream)
Not sure if it were a Thrifty, but a loooong time ago I went to a drug store and they had this unique flavor that I've rarely seen since: champagne sherbet. The only other place anywhere back then that had same same was a beach spot over the hill in Santa Cruz.

I don't think anybody in the entire state of Louisiana knew what happened during the housing market collapse in '08, much less anybody in a Nola theater lol
That's really smart to create higher end crowd work by asking a question with a limited number of known answers and prepping the responses. Pregnant women street fighting for dollars is great.

There’s guys who don’t like men that are gayer
Tim Dillon is the best stand up comic I’ve seen. Seen him twice and none of his jokes the second time were recycled
He looked uncomfortable the entire time, and then when he got into ice cream it was flawless reign of confidence
Just like you in the real world vs the internet
After 3 minutes I was going to leave... Then I read your comment and fast forwarded to the end. Still not that impressed.😢
the ice cream riffs had me dying 😂😂😂😂
This man is the embodiment of gta talk radio and he simply must be in GTA 6
