Yes, another wee gem, I have just managed to get some quality saddle hackles in from the US and not to expensive so there are quite a few smaller dries that you have tied, which will open up to me for this coming season. Great fun tying the wee flies, well it is now!! Thanks to your tuition.great stuff Davie
    Cheers

Hi Davie, I do watch many flytying videoes to get inspired and see different tying techniques, i have to say that you by is the one has inspired me the most in tying, your handling of materials and tools is simply fabuolous to watch. If you find time, I would very mutch like to see how you would tie Oliver Edwards "footprint Dun". Atb. Morten

Your patterns are always so beautiful. I think I would be really upset if I ever lost one in the trees. Well done.

I was thinking it would be nice touch to have a line drawn on the vice with a marker that was a centimetre long to guage the sizes to. Hooks seem to be different for the numbered size. Thanks Davie

So simple and swift to tie. Greasing that Aero Wing would make Olive-like. Leaving ungreased it would be slightly caddis-like. Quite an all-rounder.

a drop of UV resin at the butt of the fly would keep the body together. Might help capture some air bubbles in the body itself. Just a thought. You can always suit yourself.

Love the videos Davie. Going to have a go at these as even I may be able to make a good job of this fly. Many thanks.

Davie, would Enrico Puglisi fiber work as a substitute for the Aero Dry?

      Hi Stephen,
I have some of this fibre and I would say it would be ok to use...All the very best Davie...

Hello Davie, hope you had nice Holidays. The fly is crackin' as usual. I hope one day the fluidity of your movements will be as natural for me as it is for you. Unfortunately, I don't have that yet. It takes me twice as long to be so neat. I am still practicing though. All the best to you and yours. Sean
