I tried all the tips etc, also went to the store. They adviced to buy a new pen! Can you help me please, or do you know why it doesnt work, when you havent used it for some years? Thanks very much!
The internal battery 🪫 in the Apple Pencil is very small. If it isn’t frequently charged it will drain and die. This is the case with your Apple Pencil. The battery will not recharge since it hasn’t been working for 3 years. You’ll have to get a new one.
I tried everything and mine wasn’t working. It was a super simple fix: the nib wasn’t tightened down all the way! All I had to do was unscrew the nib and screw it back on until it was completely tight, and now the pencil is working perfectly!
The tip might be new, but the sensor may be damaged if the pencil ✏ has been dropped or damaged accidentally. Okay try this: go to Bluetooth settings and 'forget this device' for Apple pencil. Then plug the pencil in the lightning port and it will pair again. Check to see if the pressure sensitivity is working. Also, be sure that the issue is not in the app settings. Sometimes you can turn off pressure sensitivity in the app.

Hello, I have a different problem, but try to forget the bluetooth of the apple pencil from the ipad, then plug the apple pencil again, this worked for me.

Alright so I use my Apple Pencil like all the time and nothing seems to be wrong with it when I look at it- it’s not connecting to my iPad suddenly and not charging with my iPad. So I tried charging it with the normal charger thing and I’m pretty sure I’ve left it charging enough (like 10-15 mins) since it charges quite fast.. I’m in the middle of an art project and It’s summer and this is the most time I have for these kind of things now! I was flawlessly drawing like a day ago, idk what happened! Please help me
I figured out what it was: it was an issue the iPad had. When you go to Bluetooth it shows all previous devices you paired with. You can click “forget device” on the Apple Pencil and try to connect it again. This works.. if it doesn’t work I have no idea! And my Apple Pencil was 98% so obviously it wasn’t a percentage issue!
My Apple Pencil doesn’t pair. I have the first generation Apple Pencil. I charged it for a whole night, and when I press the pair button when I plug it into my iPad, it does absolutely nothing. Try connecting it to a friends iPad to see if it actually works. Go to your iPads Bluetooth settings and unpair forget device Apple Pencil. Then try plugging it in to your iPad again and see if it connects.
My pencil just stopped working all of a sudden while I was drawing, I connected it to my iPad to see if it was dead, and all the pop-up said was “Apple Pencil” it didn’t say if it was charged or not, nothing. I checked to see if the nib was screwed on, it was. I then screwed it on and off again , nothing! I checked my settings to see if the pencil was connected, it wasn’t. I tried connecting it multiple times, also nothing. So, what’s wrong? I just don’t know anymore, Ill probably end up buying a new pencil.
Try connecting it with another iPad to see if it works. There maybe a hang with your iPads Bluetooth connection. Also, try forgetting Apple Pencil under Bluetooth settings and repairing by plugging it in the lightning port.

Nothing. It will still work fine. 👍
Thank u for helping me with my pencil
For mine it won’t even charge it fits perfectly fine
It might be completely drained. Charge it with the cable and plug.
@@BeardSquaredEdtech i tried that as well and it didn’t work
Mine stopped working all of a sudden It’s fully charged and connected to my iPad, I tried to reconnect it , I updated my iPad, then changed the tip, I also turned off then turned on my iPad and reconnect my pencil again none of that worked 🥺 please help me I can’t offer buying a new one and I really need it
Try connecting it to a friends iPad to see if it actually works.
@@BeardSquaredEdtech thank you so much for helping me with this comment I was starting to freak out and didn’t want my parents to find out so 8 looked in the comments to see that another person had the same problem so I went to see your comment and it helped me a lot tysm
Bro this is making me so mad I follow all the tutorials and it still doesn’t work
If you followed all the tutorials and it still doesn't work, then maybe there is a hardware issue. Take it to the store.
Mine stoped charging but it said it was
Use the charging adapter (little piece lightning adapter) for the apple pencil and charge directly using the wall plug 🔌
My apple pencil won't connect to my ipad pro 10.5 2017, but it works perfectly fine with ipad 9th gen, anyone have any clue?
Disconnect “forget” the device on your iPad 9th generation and try connecting it to your iPad Pro 👍
@@BeardSquaredEdtech I already forget and disconnect on the 9th gen ipad, but on my ipad pro, it does not prompt to pair apple pencil when the pencil connected to the lightning
I bought mine a few months ago, it never worked it won’t charge! It lies, it says %100 but once I take it off the charger it goes to %3 and nothing is working! It’s Gen 1 and I need help! I wasted 150 for nothing!
It’s defective. Take it back to the store you bought it from. Seems like the battery 🪫 is dead.
@@BeardSquaredEdtech I got it as a gift i don’t know exactly where it’s from because I didnt ask and if I did I must of forgot as I said “a few months ago”
Mine don’t wanna connect 🥺
Mine has got in way too much
Try to pull it out without breaking it.
Thank u so much 😭❤
I’ve watched so many of these videos and nothing has worked the only thing that worked was me realizing my pencil wasn’t completely straight so I had to bend it a little too make it straight again because I guess it got bent a little
Awesome. I’m glad you figured it out. Thanks for sharing. 👍
I allowed my sister to use my Apple Pencil and when i got it back which i had to find because she lost it, it was sticky and now it’s not working hope this video can help me:)
never let siblings take ur stuff lol, I have a sibling too and I wouldn’t trust them with any of my devices
Cocofish has a good point 😂
my charging port is lose, and my apple pencil is not plugging in at all, is the problem my port is lose?
Hey, use the tiny adapter that came with your Apple pencil. It should be in the original box if you have it. 🤔
@@BeardSquaredEdtech ill look for it.
Sorry but not the problem for me it will be charged but it's not doing anything
Go into your Bluetooth settings and remove, “forget device”. Then, try pairing the Apple Pencil again.
I just realize my pencil have no ring like you. Is it gone?
No problem. It will still work the same.
Omg thank you you are a lifesaver 1:55
I lost the ring…
Me too 😰
I am sad
Why are you sad 😔?
When I was at my cousins house I lost mines ring :(
Whoops. 🤦♂️

@@Magic.Ben.graffiti im pretty sure its like a somewhat magnet
