I totally agree!!! The sponge has worked best for me as well! A light tap is truest all you need! I’m 48 years old and I minimal settling (which is amazing) It will settle some if you put on too much. A tip: If you want to transition from workday makeup to night out makeup…apply another layer right over top of what you’ve wore all day. You the same application techniques that work best for you …it blends seamlessly and provides fantastic medium to nearly full coverage!!
I was curious on the OGEE brand. I have their foundation stick and not a huge fan with dry skin. Typeology I've also been curious about. Thank you for the great review.
Soooo glad I found you! Loved this video. Been wanting to know how this tinted serum works as I recently tried their sculpted face sticks and so far like them so so. Which BK beauty brush did you use btw? I recently picked up their A506 and LOVE!! You have a new follower! 🔥
I’ve only used this once so far and had the “dotting” happening. I have large pores and it was definitely settling. I tried brush first then landed on sponge as well. Still had dotting on my nose
Still searching for the perfect skin tint 😭 I’ve tried tower28, saie, loved the impeccable but now it’s recalled. I was excited about this or rms but the ingredients eh have to pass
I have a few complexion products on my updated current favorites list here! www.thestyleshaker.com/favorites So much of what I use is a multitasker so for instance, a concealer can use used over sunscreen to give skin-tint like coverage, etc. There are some good options on that page!
Hmmm no, doesn’t sound like this is for me, I don’t do glowy on my oily skin I like very lightweight products with a lot more coverage. Have you tried the new Inika serum foundation?
Ahh I think I will pass on this one as I don’t like Polk-a-dot pores. I don’t find anything I like as well as the Dermablend Flawless creator drops. I only use a tiny tiny bit for my whole face. I don’t use a lot.
Wow, I’m shook at how low a score this received! But, like you said, you may revisit now that application preferences are figured out. 😊 For me, I always use a sponge over a brush, first applying foundation to back of hand to warm, then to face with fingers, then dabbing in with sponge. So, that made it a much better first experience for me then you! This did feel weightless, looked better than any of the 100% foundation products I’ve tried, and am hoping this is my cooler weather foundation. But, I wish it didn’t have titanium dioxide, and it has an ingredient that I thought was one of the reasons I broke out with the new RMS, so we shall see. Did you say there was a polymer in here? If so, which one? It’s a long list of ingredients lol 😂
hahaha well my score is just one piece of it- sometimes a low-scoring product is a winner for others! Yes, totally re: application. It's a solid performer, there's no question there. And sometimes when I back up performance to claims, points drop. I love this application info!! It makes ALL the difference, so when I hear how others apply I like to test it out. Thanks for sharing! I'm glad it's working for you. Oh and yes... Dilinoleic Acid/Butanediol Copolymer

you're welcome 💜
Alleyoop has been my best skin tint tinted SPF pickup this year. Oil formulations don’t work well for me. Thanks for reviewing, Britt.
you're welcome! Oh thanks for sharing- I pulled Alleyoop up and am eyeing a few of their products.

bummer about the dotting- thanks for sharing your experience! 💜

I saw that about Impeccable and was wishing for it to come back out while reviewing this. That finish was so good. And the coverage, chef's kiss.
Which skin tint do you like and can also be used under the eyes ? Mature skin asking ❤

I haven't tried INIKA's serum foundation yet!

I’ll have to check those Dermablend drops out! 💜
In my mind, serum is definitely “light coverage”. Hmmmmmm….
same!
