@@iandaley1871 100% possible. I'll revisit this comment next year in December 2021 and I'll DM anyone who leaves a comment here. My plan would be to check Ernesto's schedule for Feb to April 2022 and see where he will be playing in Panama since I assume he will be gigging regularly then. I would arrange my flight and accommodations around that timeframe and I'll pass on that info to anyone here who wants me to let them know. I think it would be rad to surf for a week with other Ernesto fans and see him play live one or two evenings.

Fear Inoculum has so many layers. It’s amazing to see people like this help add more with their interpretations. It might be the most musically perfect album ever. IMO.

The album was not reviewed well….stuff the critics, it is a masterpiece, I have it on repeat in the car and never lose interest.

I can at least sort of relate, but I've had that relationship with several Tool songs (Schism, Wings for Marie, Pushit at least) over several decades and life situations.

I'm not familiar with this guy, so I was hesitant to listen. Regardless, not having very high hopes, I decided to watch it anyhow. I knew I made the right decision within the first 20 seconds. Unbelievable ! Definitely a fan. Can't wait to check out his other stuff ?

how so? he drummed the 4/4 beat danny does during his solo with his foot on the highhat on his guitar however danny plays friggin 2 different polyrhythms alongside the 4/4 beat in the song before he REALLY starts his insane solo. not saying ernestos cover is shit. it's friggin great but saying he nailed the solo just no. what danny does there is insane. danny is a monster. you can't physically nail his solo on a guitar when you have to drum 3 different rhythms at the same time with all limbs lol.

Dude I just found your channel last night. I’ve studied Tool my entire musical life, and FI since it dropped, and this is just on an entirely different level. The way you’re pulling those overtones and harmonics out of the guitar itself by slapping and popping it, it’s nothing short of magick.

I think this is officially my favorite song of all time. That’s hard to say. That’s hard to accept. Every time I hear it, whether it’s the tool version or this beautiful acoustic cover or even Danny’s drum cam…it just hits me on another level emotionally. It makes me gain hope for this world again. This song makes me want to be better….even tho I’m scum. It’s special and at least I can recognize that I guess.
