I love your videos!! I’m an old rusty pilot, got my private license at 19, (35 years ago) haven’t flown in 30 years, but I’m now back in the left seat and loving it! I really appreciate your skills flying and both of your skills on the radio, especially Jamie’s, she blows me away!! Thanks again, keep making your videos!!!
Kevin and Jamie, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Kevin, I'm an old fart now (60) and want you know how LUCKY you are! Your wife is not only beautiful, but full of life! As a divorced old guy, hang on to the good things in life (IE Jamie), at all cost! At some point in life, it's hard to fix the past! Thanks for the videos! The best to you both in 2019!!!😊
Another great video. I’ve been following your videos for several months now and they never fail to entertain me. Aviation has been my whole adult life as a 35 year aviation electrician in the Navy and the Mass ANG. I’m 73 now and can still smell the odor of avgas and jet fuel. I love flying my 310 on X-plane. I thought about adding some virtual aviation fuel odors but I don’t think my wife would appreciate it LOL !!
Thank you!! Glad you're enjoying the channel. I wish I could get my A&P license to work on the plane but it's too hard to do with a family and job right now. Hopefully in retirement I can get that. I'm with you in enjoying the smell of avgas and jet fuel. I'm guessing your right and your wife wouldn't be as amused as us. :)
As usual, another awesome video from the dynamic duo. It certainly is enjoyable to watch you two together, flying, vacationing, or just visiting the farm. Thanks again for giving us all a bit of your adventure to share. Keep up the great work and Merry Christmas.
Kevin and Jaime, you guys crack me up. “You done good, babe. You done real good.” Totally agree. Thanks for sharing your trip with us. Merry Christmas and looking forward to the new year of videos.

Great to hear the original music again as this is what i remember the first time i came across your channel. Kevin and Jamie have a nice christmas and new year. Thanks mate
Glad you enjoy it Spiro! I get comments about it being old and some think I should change it up. I kind of like it and honestly don't have the time to search the internet for music that youtube allows with copyright issues. :) Merry Christmas!

Hi guys... no problem with the music, this is by far my favourite sound track! I've traveled the panhandle to New Orleans and it seems very appropriate for the South! Kevin and Jamie, I wish you the best for this Holiday season and for the New Year. And of course many other flying adventures! Take care!
Kevin, Y'all are in my former neck of the woods! I was born in Montgomery, AL. Had relatives in Birmingham when I was growing up too many years ago to remember. Moved North when I was 13. Not many relatives left down South anymore. You will find Southern people with their drawl are some of the most hospitable and respectful people in the country. Hope you enjoyed your visit to Huntsville! I guess you are slowly making your way back North!
I love the people and drawl down there. Reminds me of my younger days in Georgia. The pace of life seems slower and the hospitality is abundant. The next video is an IFR flight from Alabama back home to wrap up the Bahamas series. :)
8A1 is my neck of the woods. Really beautiful airport to fly out of! The approach brings you in over the lake and several boat/yacht areas. Nice, quiet little town. Thanks for sharing your flights!
Good Job.... you mentioned “Hill Country” and it made me laugh. it always amazed me thinking back 100 years, how the heck did barnstormers navigate those Jenny’s throughout perpetual flat terrain... I’m up in the Pacific Northwest where landmarks are are abundant. My mentor (born 1921) remembers barnstormers. That, along with how he found the Titian islands back in WW2 in a B-29 by navigating using the “stars”. WE HAVE IT SO EASY...!
We have navigating sooo easy compared to those guys! Even with VOR's and ATC I've seen someone get completely lost and scared in the midwest farmlands back in the late 90's. Can't imagine navigating the country with no navaids or sectionals. I've heard about celestial navigation...that sure is a lost art! Merry Christmas Robert!
a long long time ago i got the chance to get up into the navigating bubble of an old p3 flying around the aleutians at night to see the stars and the aurora borealis. it might be sort of a lost art but it is also amazing. :) and i still love your videos / editing / story. thank you. it makes me want to get up in the air again.
WRT visual navigation, in Iowa, at least, there are very many small towns. Not a pilot myself, but I've been in the air a lot with friends. In the words of one old guy: "West till we smell it, south till we step in it." Also got to know two pioneer aviators, Jack Snodgrass and Aaden "Bite" Livingston. (May have heard of his brother, Jon. Jonathon Livingston.) Never talked to them about navigation. Shoulda. BTW, 310 Pilot: I enjoy your stuff a lot. You're pretty unflappable, even at Oshkosh.
Excellent video as always--one step closer to being home. Ms. Jaime looks like she is whipped and can't get home quick enough---Merry Christmas to you both!!
Hey guys this was a beautiful flight! I always enjoy your commentary as you guys talk back and forth to each other. I really enjoy hearing Jamie on the radio she is so good with that! As always I can't wait for the next video! Marvin
Awesome...thank you Marvin! I like her on the radio as well. You'll enjoy the next video as she works the radio a bunch....early on till her jack had some audio issues.
@@310Pilot thank you for responding back! Well I can't wait to see the next video! And don't forget about fun and Sun next year! I'm going to be putting that bug in your ear frequently! You have a lot of fans in Alabama Georgia and Florida we would all love to meet and greet!
Really enjoy your videos. Had a private SEL back in the mid 1960s and got around 125 hours before military transfers and married life forced me to give it up. We use Huntsville as an overnight stop each time we travel between Texas and North Carolina. We stay at Redstone Arsenal (retired military). We always do some local shopping while we are there. Wishing you both a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
Glad you are enjoying it Jerry! I understand about having to give it up sometimes as I've had to do the same before. It's never too late to get back in though. :) Merry Christmas!
What a mega place, hotel looked awesome and some "interesting radio" switches on your way in then all quiet on Final, you are so lucky to have all those airfields with great facilities. In UK much more basic and a far more busy airspace. Another good video. Paul
It was a really neat unplanned stop Paul! We are very lucky in the US with the freedoms we have flying. Not like this in most places in the world. Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Hi guys I lived in Huntsville AL from 2004 til 2007 and did my US pilot license incl IFR flying out of Huntsville International! Happy New Year 2019! I really like your videos! P.S. I am German Guy living now in Bavaria
Glad you enjoyed the video and happy to take you back Thomas! I can't wait to visit Bavaria one day. I was born in Germany but left as a baby and don't remember anything about it...one day I'll be back to explore around. :)
I love all your videos, but this Bahamas series is the absolute best! We are planning to fly our Malibu to the Bahamas this coming year. Merry Christmas!
Thank you Jack! Glad you are enjoying the channel! We are happy to spread the Bahamas to other pilots as well as they are made for GA travel. It's honestly so close to the US but such a tropical different planet feel. Love it down there. You're Malibu (love those by the way) will be perfect for island hopping. :)
Just found your videos a few weeks ago. I guess you can say that I am a 310Pilot junkie while I catch up. The "cute little town" Jaime mentioned is Jacksonville, AL. My daughter lives there and my wife and I live in Alexandria (about 6 miles farther west). They are both great towns that remind me of childhood days in Nebraska. If you ever are back in the area, PM me. I work at the Anniston airport (KANB). My wife and I would love to show you around. Maybe take you to a Jacksonville State University Gamecock football game. Fun times!Love your videos and your adventures. Cannot wait to see the new paint on N711BC when she is finished.jh
Great video. Kinda bittersweet to hear the theme music change in the intro, but I think it’s good to be back! Can’t wait for next week! Merry Christmas guys
Great video! You guys were in my neck of the woods on that flight. I fly through there (Huntsville, Gadsden, Guntersville, etc.) serval times per year to go visit family down south in Alabama and Mississippi. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🎄
Glad y'all were able to stop down South, good having you here! We're just up the road at Columbia, TN. Wish y'all could transfer down this way from Chicagoland! Merry Christmas!
Jacksonville AL is my hometown! It is a great little town. The football stadium belongs to the Jacksonville State University Gamecocks. I've been through that airspace a few times. ☺️
Excellent as always Kevin. Must be getting near home as intro theme scratch mixes from holiday to usual. Nice touch 😊 Said it before but you two make a great team in the air and it must be great to share that. Also sent you, Jaime and the family season greetings in the last video as I wasn't sure if there would be another before Christmas. Remember that if you make it this side of 'the pond' in whatever way, you and the family have always got a warm welcome and accommodation here. All the very best 👍 🇬🇧
Glad you enjoyed it Tim! One day I'm going to take you up on that whenever we get brave enough to cross over! Merry Christmas and nice touch with the Santa hats. :)
@@310Pilot Told Dad you would take us up on our offer if you came this way and that you had said about the Santa hats. He asked if you had watched the video of his flight in the Jodel and seen our local scenery?
Hi Kevin & Jamie ! Thanks for the Christmas bonus I wasn’t expecting another vid till the new year. Living in England I’m not always sure where you are on your travels I had a brainwave Google Earth ! that’s added An extra dimension to your videos 😀looking forward to flying with you in the new year ,keep well and the blue side up . Stephen. 🏴
Glad you are enjoying them Stephen! Make sure to google earth Andros Island where we flew in that trip and see the middle of that island. It's crazy pretty. I've got several flights waiting to be edited so hopefully we'll have the heater back installed and can fly around for fun a bit more to keep a new video every week or so. Still planning the fun 2019 trips. :)
Who down votes these videos? Wow... As a former private pilot, I look forward to every video. Thank you so much for all the info and hard work you put into these. They allow me to enjoy flying again.
You're welcome DR! Glad to take you up with us and happy that you're enjoying them! I learned early on with this channel that you can't please everyone...especially on the internet. :) I'm really happy that it seems a lot of people are enjoying the channel and we enjoy sharing general aviation with others.
The fishin stories I have from Westpoint. Man oh man, and I think that was J’ville State you passed with the stadium. Great flight, once again, the weather has been fantastic lately for flying. Go Dawgs and Merry Christmas y’all.
I bet...heard the fishing was good there. Saw lots of it going on when I used to fly over it regularly. My old man reminded me that was where he got his Master's from...you'd think it would have rang a bell. :) Merry Christmas!
"Home Sweet Home!" Kevin I wish I would have known that you and Jamie were in my hometown whenever that was. I would have treated you all to some Huntsville, AL southern hospitality. I still can't get used to hearing Huntsville Executive. It was a different name years ago when we were based there. You flew over lake Guntersville on your way in. I told you about it several videos ago since you like to fish. Big Large Mouth Bass in there. Huntsville is a great City and I love living here. I'm trying to get the minute mark when you flew over my place. I'll figure it out when I have more time. If you're ever in the area again look me up. Keep'em Coming I enjoy watching...
I really like the area around there and would love to do some bass fishing there! That's my favorite kind of fishing. It was a spontaneous stop as we originally planned Nashville but the weather had us change our plans. I'll try to post ahead of time if we come back your way. Thanks for the invite!
That may have been Jacksonville State stadium. My cousin's kid went there before transferring to UGA! Really enjoy your videos especially when your traversing the south. Hope you both have a great Christmas!
Glad you enjoyed it! That was some flying that brought back memories as I have over 1000 hours flying in Georgia/Alabama area. My dad reminded me that was indeed Jack state as he graduated from there from his Masters. :) Merry Christmas!
Kevin, Madison County is the old name of the airport before it was changed to Huntsville Executive, hence the MDQ identifier. I have a bad habit of calling it Madison County on my radio calls and usually get admonished for it. You and Jamie make awesome videos! Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!
Thanks for the heads up Geoff! That's what we ended up figuring out. I enjoy a bit of keeping some history involved...I just think they should have kept it on the charts to not confuse us out of towners. Something like Huntsville Executive, Maddison County, Alabama. :) Merry Christmas!
I'm getting addicted to these videos I always wanted to fly at one time in the 80s I was looking the taking some flying lessons but $2,800 seems a little expensive I didn't have it. I did fly in a prop plane I believe it was a Piper in like 1972 flew around Des Moines for about 20 minutes
Makes sense ... Back in the late 70's, early 80's, I was the Tech Rep for Cessna out of Wichita in the PropJet Marketing Division. As a perk I was given a new T210 to fly throughout the North Central US and quite often I'd take it up to FL230 on long flights. Once the plane had 500 hours on it, I'd turn it back in for another T210 ... it was the best job in the world and I loved it. It was sometime around then that Cessna stopped production on the 310, due to production cost, and it broke my heart, I love that airplane. Especially the later models with the extended nose on it. Also, I flew into Palwaukee (SP?) many, many times, but hated it during the winter months. Too cold up there.
It is too cold up here around PWK, I'll agree to that! Sounds like you had an amazing job!! I sure wish they made the 310 until the 90's as the fleet is getting up there but beggars can't be choosers and I can't afford a new Baron. :) Do love our bird though.
Really enjoyed your series on the Bahamas trip. Y’all make a great team. Fun to watch your videos. I’m a former private pilot. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years from the Sunshine State.
Thanks for another great video you two. My wife and I are just back from vacation (seeing our Son at Ft Benning GA). We flew commercial San Francisco to Montgomery AL, drove to Columbus, GA, to Pensacola Beach, FL, and then on to New Orleans LA (via FloraBamma & Biloxi MS. Flew back to SFO and got home at 1:30 AM PST 12/20/18. I think we drove on some of those roads you mention in the video. Anyway have a Merry Christmas!
Sounds like a fun trip Terry! Hope your son has a successful Army career. My dad is retired Army. I really enjoy all the places you mentioned traveling to. Merry Christmas!
Nice job again Kevin. You guys sure got a lot of good footage on this trip. Looks like you got to see a lot of beautiful country as well. I have not put in any long trips yet but hope to in the future. Now that I have my PPL wish I would have got it at younger age like you instead of 38. But it is what it is. Better late than never though I guess. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Glad you enjoyed it Mark! It was an awesome trip and we can't wait to get back down there. You're about the same age as me...plenty of time to start exploring. :) Congrats on the PPL and Merry Christmas!!
Nice... wonderful flight as usual. Wishing you best wishes for Christmas and the New Year, Thanks for all the trips you and Jaime have afforded me. 2019 is going to be a GREAT year... Now I have to pack and make my way home for the holidays.
Unfortunately. It has been fun editing the videos though...brought me right back while it's cold out. Looking forward to having my new heater installed in a couple weeks. This time of year slows everything down.
My first time seeing this one guys, too much time on my hands, getting caught up. Kevin, you over critique yourself. That landing in this video was perfect!
The islands are beautiful, but, nothing beats the good ol' USA, especially the South, Midwest & West (anything but the Northeast ... 😁). Glad you included your trip home. I miss FL and AL BADLY - been a few years since I've been down there. Love the people, the land, everything about it. FL seems to be growing a bit quicker than I'd like, so AL would be my 1st choice if I were to ever move (not likely, unfortunately). Always great scenery out your cockpit glass there. Thanks for sharing! You and Jamie have yourselves a Merry Christmas, and a Happy, Prosperous New Year. 🍻 God bless.

You're welcome Scotty! Merry Christmas!
:) and i still love your videos / editing / story. thank you. it makes me want to get up in the air again.
merry Christmas to you both
WRT visual navigation, in Iowa, at least, there are very many small towns.
Ha ha...yeah that trip was a lot going on in 5 days. Wore her out. :) Merry Christmas Randall!
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family
Thanks Mike...Merry Christmas!
@@310Pilotreat, once you guys are in Bavaria let me know - we could fly to the Alps - I am flying out of EDMS
Great trip Kevin and Jamie, I think I said it before, but if not, bucket list. Have a great Christmas and New Year. Paul
Glad you enjoyed it Paul! For sure get that marked off your list...you won't regret it. Merry Christmas!
Welcome to my home! Good to hear from you. Jaime looks good. Be safe. Happy holidays. Go Dawgs. Love ya!
We love it down there Randy! One of my favorite areas of the country. Go Dawgs!! Merry Christmas!
Glad you enjoyed it! Merry Christmas Mike! The final leg of the trip next week with an IFR flight back home. Time to start planning for 2019.
❤️ best flying videos out there be safe and have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR
Awesome...thank you Paula!! Merry Christmas. :)
Beautiful landing Huntsville exec , love when you hold that nose gear off & high as long as possible , many happy landings to Ya'll .
Great video! You guys were in my neck of the woods on that flight. I fly through there (Huntsville, Gadsden, Guntersville, etc.) serval times per year to go visit family down south in Alabama and Mississippi. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🎄
I love your neck of the woods Harold! Wish I could get down there more. Merry Christmas!
Glad y'all were able to stop down South, good having you here! We're just up the road at Columbia, TN. Wish y'all could transfer down this way from Chicagoland! Merry Christmas!
I wish we could too William!! One day... :) Merry Christmas!
Living in England I’m not always sure where you are on your travels I had a brainwave Google Earth ! that’s added
An extra dimension to your videos 😀looking forward to flying with you in the new year ,keep well and the blue side up .
Stephen.
Can’t wait! Hope you overwinter ok.
Stephen.
Thanks for another fun ride. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Glad you enjoyed it Karl! Merry Christmas!
Hope u guys enjoyed Huntsville; I've actually stayed a night in the Embassy. We live about an hour west.
Nice way to wrap up 2018. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! Here's to blue skies and smooth landings in 2019!!
Glad you enjoyed it Ray! Merry Christmas!
That's the first video I watch on your channel, this 310 instrument panel looks sweet.
Glad you found us and thank you! The panel is coming around slowly...thinking two more upgrades and then cut new panels and clean stuff up.
Another great video! I flew into Huntsville Exec last spring for our airport’s spring trip. Nice airport and great hospitality. Happy flying!
Glad you enjoyed it! I agree about Huntsville Exec...people were all great and we'll be back again I'm sure.
Great video guys. Thank you for putting out such great content. Enjoy the holidays and look forward to your next series
Glad you enjoyed it Tim! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas Kevin and Jamie!! Next time you're in Huntsville, got to see the Space and Rocket Center. It's awesome!
We'll add it to the list...thank you Steve! Merry Christmas!
Loved the way music changed now that you are back in the States! :) Thanks for another great ride along.
Ha ha...glad you enjoyed it!
Haha! You parked right where I did on my first solo cross country landing. Great series!
Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from Texas Gulf Coast!
Merry Christas Gerald!
Another great video guys! Kevin, it’s going to rain “sugar” in NOLA 🏈 all the best in the new year.
Thanks Terry...Merry Christmas!
Yes. He said he saw Gamecocks painted on the field.
Love your videos. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Can’t wait to see what you have for us in 2019.
Glad you're enjoying them Christopher! We should have some good flights for 2019 and we'll keep posting our routine flights as well. Merry Christmas!
Holidays over...wow, great time away, cheers
Glad you enjoyed it Stan! Merry Christmas!
Hope you had a great Christmas and have a Happy New Year.
We did...thank you! Happy New Year to you as well. :)
Thanks for sharing your trip, Merry Christmas!
You're welcome Rodger...Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas David and glad you enjoyed it!
Another good one -----Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Thank you Robert...Merry Christmas!
Welcome back, awesome island hopping vids !!
Thanks Bob! Good to be back to the kids but we sure missed it. :) Glad you enjoyed the series!
Hope you guys have a Very Merry and Blessed Christmas! Love your videos.
Awesome...glad you're enjoying them. Merry Christmas!
I did my PPL Checkride at MDQ two months ago. I've flew there multiple times. Nice airport!
It was a very nice airport...would go back again for sure! Congrats on your PPL!!
Congrats!! Welcome to the family
Thanks guys! I have a blast everytime I fly, so it was definitely worth it!
There is definitely nothing cooler than flying!
Good luck on your travels home Kimberley! I'm looking forward to a fun 2019...hopefully we'll continue to have fun flying trips. Merry Christmas!
All good things must end....welcome home!
That landing in this video was perfect!
i didn't feel a thing LOL
I love how the southern accent comes in as you guys fly farther south... :)
I love how you called the Jacksonville Gamecocks' stadium a high school stadium. Thank you!!! I've been saying that for years!!!
Thanks for sharing, you make it look easy.
Thank you Terry! Glad you enjoyed it!
Another cool video to enjoy on a cold and wet night, thanks as always for sharing with us :) I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, best wishes :)
Glad you enjoyed it Rab! Merry Christmas!
Have a great Christmas guys , and thanks again for the ride!
Glad you enjoyed it Tim! Merry Christmas!
nice flying guys . makes me wanna plan a Bahamas trip
Thank you Tom! Have fun and stay safe down there. :)
HAH! Gotta a kick out of your transition from steel drum to your normal theme on the intro. ;) Hope you and Jaime have a great holiday season!
Glad you enjoyed it Wally! Merry Christmas!
Very nice. Have a blessed Christmas!
Thank you Andrew...Merry Christmas!
I agree with you Smitty! I love the south and I'd live in northern Alabama in a minute. :)
Merry Christmas Smitty!
Merry Christmas to yall. Be safe
Merry Christmas Keith!
Looking forward to flying with you guys in 2019. Merry Christmas Happy New Year
Thanks Rick...we should have some fun flights for the year! Merry Christmas!
Thanks for another Great video :) I'll keep my eyes open for the next one !!
Have a Wonderful Christmas !!!
Glad you enjoyed it Derek! Next video is an IFR flight from Alabama back home to ARR. Hopefully I can get that up next week or so. Merry Christmas!
smooth flight wishing you both and family a happy christmas and happy new year
Merry Christmas Anthony!
