Advice from a current pro (I’m 23 , play overseas, and also played NBA Summer League) :
Bro idk how tall you are but you seem short. And the thing is if you are short you literally have to be the BEST player on the floor BY FAR on both ends of the floor. You keep saying “I played well” but at your height it has to be “I DOMINATED” because it’s messed up but at the end of the day basketball is a tall man’s game. You have time bro but it’s going to take 1,000 shots a day, at least 2 times on the court daily (pickup and workout), and off the court you gotta study the game. You just gotta if that’s really something you wanna commit to.

You’re young and have so much time don’t give up if you really love this game you need to take the good with the bad if you can’t handle your shortcomings like a champ and be mentally strong you might as well hang it up treat your shortcomings just like your victories nothing will be handed to you just because your doing it. Do what it takes to stand out and your time will come. Just stop writing yourself off when things don’t go your way it’s life dude. Becoming professional is not easy and it won’t get easier all you need is one breakout and the sky is the limit. It’s all on you

just cause you are not successfully at something, does not mean give up, cause once you start to doing that you well never be able to accomplish the task at hand.
The truth is if your a d3 hooper who don’t get minutes u not getting anywhere. Maybe if ur d3 and u averaging at least 25 and u great at d maybe u could go d1 or try g league overseas this isn’t hate
Man it might be time to pursue a creator career solely… I feel like it’s pretty obvious you’re too undersized to play pro and your skill set is subpar to be a pro. Just being realistic. You’re better then alot of people including me but you should be dominating at these tryouts and that 3v3 tournament you played in.
4:49 He isnt too undersized to play pro somewhere but, at his size you GOTTA be him in the skills department, I think he should keep chasing his dream of pro as I believe he'll make it but, if it doesn't work out content creator is a good idea
My exact thoughts brother.. at some point you gotta face the fact you are not at that level, no matter how many connections you have. He’s like 5’11, not athletic, average shooter at best, not the fastest, not the biggest.. I mean he played 5 years of college and was benched the 5th year.. gotta just be self aware sometimes
And yeah I watched the 3v3 tournament and even out there he looked like one of the worse again UA-cam guys
Becoming a pro isn’t so much about how good you are. It’s about finding the right situation for you. And a lot of time it’s about showing God how far you’re really willing to go to get where you want to be, in anything in life. Have to pound the stone and go through the process. Just don’t stop. You don’t fail until you quit. As long as you keep going, you’re farther than yesterday💯🖤.

Man i know the pain, but if you wanna go pro I would join a big AAU team like teams in the OTE because there were two brothers that played on a AAU OTE team and made pro the Thomas brothers Amen and Ausar.

I’d like to give a lil constructive criticism to help u out right quick. Keep your head up and keep going because God got you. But bro …stop this sad shit and bring that dog out 😤. you’ve obviously been counted out many times so at this point you need to go at people’s necks everytime you step on the court because you got a chip on your shoulder. It’s either you or him and one of y’all gotta go. If i was your competition for an upcoming game and i saw this video, i’d immediately think “i’m finna go bust his ass”. coaches want dogs. you got it bro.

At some point you just gotta realize maybe you not good enough for pro.. can always do UA-cam basketball or something
Hey! It sucks but in the basketball world being a small guard already puts you at a disadvantage, I'm too a small guard, but here is some advice.
1) diet (super important) and being the best conditioned on the court
2) ball handling
3) defense (super big overseas)
4) being dominant in one specific area (ex. shooting, or rebound, or passing, speed, etc.)
*It's better to be dominant in one thing versus being average in everything, especially being short or small*
Keep grinding and believing in yourself, and you will achieve.
I think your handle is what’s stopping you. Don’t really have any counters and looks kind of suspect against in game defenders. That should be main focal point. I think you just need to play pickup games and just ball. All this training you doing is really not helping you tbh. Get in some adult leagues and just work on your game from there.
