Hey, try putting a mirror on the outside of the tank, near where the blue tang hangs out. That will make him take the aggression out on his reflexion. I have a scopas that takes it out on my purple and when I see it happening, I put the mirror on the tank and that takes care of it... that way you don't have to get rid of one.
To stop frags flying away from you when you cut them, you could try gluing some soft foam to the clippers on both sides. It will hold the frag when you cut it. It works for wire cutters. You will just have to find soft enough foam to not damage the frag
Try mounting using glue and putty. So dab of glue on frag plug. Dime size ball of putty on that. Dab of glue on top of putty. Glently push frag into it. Takes seconds and doesn't break loose easy.
maybe u could try some exposure therapy for the tangs print out a good picture and add to side it helped with my japonicus. Whenever il see aggresion building up i add a leucosternon picture with a magnet ;p
I have added Cleaners & Peppermints to this tank, but they all eventually disappeared... I have a sneaking suspicion that the Pistol Shrimp may have something to do w/ that...
I love how much the tank is growing! I’m curious as to what would happen if you took the golden rod or other type of anicapora and put like two or three small frags on one plug and then let them grow together and intertwine and maybe make a stronger base?

Thank you -- the mini-colony is sitting under around 280 PAR, the frags range from 150 - 300, with no sign of color shifting even under the lower PAR. Still no plan to ship at the moment due to the complexity, but if you ever make it down this direction give me a shout, if things are holding steady, I should be able to frag it at a moment's notice. 😊

I see the purple tangs fins looking a little picked on. That guy's too small ,to defend himself from the other tangs. I get large purple tangs frequently, if you're looking in the future let me know.

Murphy’s law of fragging: The frag always falls to the most inaccessible place!😉 Maybe it fell inside the Goni and is hidden by the Goni tentacles.
