Ozito Rotary Tool

Great video! I've been using a Dremel as well, for those curious the disc you want is Dremel SC476. Really big disc and you can cut through like butter, 5 seconds to make a cut, just watch those fingers. 😉
I've been using a Dremel with a diamond cutting blade. Worked great.
Yeah im going to get a more heavy duty cutting disk so I dont need to be so gentle with it
Fifty bucks well spent Marcus. Fabulous. They all look great. I look forward to seeing how they go in the coming months. 👍
Thanks 👍
Thats an awesome tool! I have a dremmel but much thicker and although i havnt fragged with it yet I am sure it will be more difficult. What do you call that tool? I just heard you say rotary tool.
I dont have one of those but I do have an angle grinder so here goes!
I already has a dremel so I plan to use that for fragging when I start try frag at home 👊🍻🥰🐶
Great vid! Where can you buy metal versions of the circular blade?
eBay is probably the easiest.
Who did your logo and branding? Its well done!
My wife is an artist and designer.
@@ReefNerd Ah lucky!
U think cutting sps with it is a good idea?? Or the heat from the blade will damage the coral?
Honestly I think the heat from the blade is a bit of a non-issue. Especially for SPS where this tool will cut through the coral in seconds. But for SPS generally coral cutters will be an easier option. I’d save this tool for LPS or coral with really thick and tough skeletons.
Probably just as much heat from the glue when u glue the coral frag down as with the cutting disc, maybe if the fag is super tiny it may not recover but I’m sure most would be fine 🥰🐶
Tips for cutting a giant galaxea? Skeleton is super thick. Plan is to use a diamond point bit not a disk from underside of the colony. Does I matter when I get deep and into flesh of the colony?
it shouldnt, but just try to keep the heat down, keep dipping the coral in some tank water as you go
Lol. This is such a winning move. Diamond tip blades from eBay and onto make short work of coral skeletons
Absolutely, I plan to experiment with a few different cutting blades
Nice job .
Thanks!
Are they Citadel cutters?
They sure are haha. Good eye to spot that
@@ReefNerd BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD DOGG! 🩸💀🐶
I always wondered why more people weren't using cutting wheels.. Harbor Freight for those in the U.S.
I had no idea that corals were that hard
Some are very brittle. Then others have skeletons that may as well be adamantium.
Looks better great 👍 job
Thanks
Diamond cutting blade - you won't go back ;)
Yea I’m going to get one from eBay and compare it to the ceramic disk I used in this video.
Can you use this on rock? Rubble rock? Frag plugs?
Yea you can. The cutting disks work on metal and screws. So the stem of a coral plug or some small rocks is no issue.
Only way to frag a Duncan!
I will certainly never be using bone cutters to try and do it again!
Oh man the smell is horrible !
Nothing like coral fragging smells!
