I love your channel! I was becoming dishearten with all the learning curves and information out there.. you have rejuvenated my passion for reefing(for now….😂)
Aw i'm so glad I helped ya bring back the love 🥹❤️ This hobby can be super frustrating/overwhelming sometimes but the fact that we're always learning and always improving is what keeps it fun! If it was perfect from the start wouldn't be nearly as entertaining !!
Tank is coming along nicely. I used a Majano wand, crazy strong laser and some Bergia Nudibranc to takle my aptasia problem. Honestly, the laser was the most enjoyable ( I was the kid on the side walk burning bugs with a magnifying glass) but the Nudibranc were the easiest.
I get what you are saying about organizing and tidying. It's like your current tank has sprinkled corals on the sand. Can't wait to see what you come up with in the next video because I think your tank is looking amazing!!
You should try adding some conches (if you have no hermit crabs), nassarius snails and a sand sifting Star fish. If they don't work in about a month or so then get a diamond goby (but make sure to keep an eye on him to make sure he's getting enough nutrition. You could also just blow the sand about for 2 mins with a turkey baster before you do a water change (remember to do a third at a time so you don't disturb too much)
That's how it was with my DSA 225. Vermitid snails overran it all. I hated it. Replacing all rock and rebuilding now. I noticed in one of your past vids, you swapped your Jager heaters for the titanium brs heaters. What wattage did you get and do they keep temp pretty good?
It would have been insane not to have picked up some Raising Reefs frags! I’m so jealous you definitely picked some winners!! I can’t wait to see how huge they get.
I have one acro. I have tried 2 more but they died. I think one bleached out. Do you have to acclimate with lower par for a few days? Maybe that was my problem.?
I have a diamond gobie. He keeps my sand clean and looking good. He has a great personality and is a real character. If you decide to get one, he will dig out a cave under your rockscape to sleep at night so be careful. They say he can undermine the scape but mine hasn’t yet. You can also get a shrimp that will live in his cave with him. Pretty cool!
Oh Brother 🤔 I hear you and the only thing that looks great is Royal Grammas home it's so perfect in that corner and growing on the glass. He will be mad at you.😂💜💛🐟
you want to see messy you should see my 20 year old 10 gal tank. it is my 1st saltwater tank and there is all kinds of shells little rocks coral plugs. i have a large green tip toad stool 2 finger leathers and a few mushrooms, use to have GSP but i guess i am the only 1 who cant keep it alive cuz it die on me agen for 3rd time
Your going to have to start dosing. And lots of water charges and testing. Sps don't like changes in water chemistry. I don't think your experienced enough to keep acros.
Yeah i've been dosing for over a year now. Just switched to kalkwasser though and loving it! These aren't the first acros I have in my tank right now though,I have a colony of garf bonsai and a src tenuis that are doing great

I don't think I could be trusted with a lazer 🤣🤣🤣 counting on these nudis!!
The tank is looking so much better! Great work! 😄
Sonny from raising reef has some fire love his sps collection

I got two 300W brs heaters! Temp only drops by 1.5 degrees when it gets to 52F in the house so i'd say they're doing a pretty good job 😂
Damn, wish I had a place like that to go too....Your tank is dope!!!
what are the red zoa's you have called? i gotta get some lol
I got redium light can you get me a good set up for it im new to this thanks 🙏

Me neither 😩❤️ So happy with them

It's hard to say what could've caused it without knowing more, but if it helps I don't acclimate mine light wise
@@QueenofReef thanks

Hey what’s up with the audio?? Played at a about half speed for me.
Those sticks tho 🔥🔥🪸
I usually speed up the audio because I talk so slow naturally but this time I didn't 🤪
You voice sound like doris i love it and i loveeeee you amazing tank
I went bare bottom. Best move I’ve ever made.
I thought about it a lot. Makes it so much better but I can't picture a tank without sand ? Just wish I went with better quality stuff 😕
Painted the bottom underneath the glass white. Best of both worlds. @@QueenofReef
