Because copper can 'rust' in dark green color (just like its bottom before the restoration), having coating inside of the pot is necessary. Tin has been widely used for that purpose and worked nicely since ancient times. Nicely done.

El estaño sin plomo es más duradero y no es tóxico, mientras que el que contiene plomo puede contener sustancias perjudiciales, se conocen como estaño orgánico y estaño inorgánico, el orgánico comúnmente el cuerpo lo desecha mientras que el inorgánico solo es tóxico si se consume en grandes cantidades, para soldar existe el estaño con plomo y sin plomo, depende de para que lo uses, en objetos que tienen contacto con la comida o bebida se usa sin plomo, el que tiene plomo rápidamente se torna color negro mientras el que no tiene plomo no pierde su color plateado aunque si puede perder su brillo por falta de uso pero solo basta un poco de limpieza y queda brillante nuevamente, hasta aquí por si tenían alguna duda, 👍
