Christ, if I could get a tiny time travel trip I'd go back and go see an Oingo Boingo concert in their prime. I kind of hate the 'I was born in the wrong decade' thing, but holy fuck did I miss out never seeing OB live. Considering that they'll almost certainly never have a true reunion I just gotta live with that.
Man, that heavier guitar sets this song on fire. Danny looks like he came straight from hanging around the pool to perform a concert. My favorite OB song and the best live version I've heard of it.
Danny Elfman doesn't get enough credit as a musician and performer, for years I only knew him as the Simpsons and Tim Burton composer

Danny Elfman doesn't need to lipsynch. Unlike 99.9% of today's artists, Danny can actually sing! So you can bet that's really him singing live during this show and every other show he did for that matter.

Saw them 4 times throughout the years.They always killed ! I wish they'd reissue this DVD, last time I checked the ones for sale on the net were all over $100.Very happy it is here in pieces.So many of their songs cut deep.
This performance is out of print and last I checked on eBay runs for $200. Danny's net worth is $75 million alone!!

lipsynching sucks
They're not lipsynching -> this is the genius of Danny Elfman! The band, particularly the vocals are mic'd via mainline, (please excuse this horrid expression), directly into the soundboard to avoid the background noises & the crowd. Incredible results, yes?!!
