Enjoyed this story a lot! At first I was like "wow Teddy sounds like he's got it coming" but then halfway through I was hoping desperately they would both make it out.
The way the author describes the amount extension cords, the only thing I can think of is the price of scrap copper. Maybe the electrician in me

I haven't listened to the story yet, but it's already terrifying. With how much I got my ass beat with them growing up. My ass tattooed brused "Black & Decker" from all that ass whooping at one point, lol.
That explained VERY little. I mean, it doesn't need to explain the old lady. What it needs to explain is how the brother ended up like that and not carved up like a Thanksgiving turkey.

I was sorta hoping the monster would be a robot, some lunatic's special project gone wrong and the reason for all the wires was it had to stay plugged in to the generator to live.

I love listening to these narrations but your vocal volume fluctuates a LOT throughout. I have to constantly adjust the volume to keep you audible during the whisper-quiet parts without blowing up my speakers on the loud parts.
