True, but the pros didn't start taking ableton seriously until about 5 years ago.. so maybe he's one of the pros who still isn't sold on it.. all we can do is specuratuu.
When i read some negative opinions about the Arturia keyboards, I was convinced that it was some sort of euro-hostile competition propaganda. Got one (Keylab 61 bundled with Bitwig Studio). A key was broken on delivery.The material and construction quality of the keybed are so poor that it breaks before leaving factory. I examined the unit closer. This is a beautiful product in theory, but it will break inevitably rather sooner then later. IT IS A QUALITY DUMMY. Metal and wood joined together with pieces of a fragile cheap plastic frame. Dummy metal weights glued sloppily with hot melt glue underneath thin plastic feeble keys. A mechanism that, beside poor performance, breaks easily A quality nightmare. A deception, an illusion, a huge disappointment... All this made me very sad. I had high expectations. I had to send it back. BE WARNED!
do not buy a key lab. Mine lasted 10 hours before the keyed broke. took it apart and shocked how flimsy the build is on the keys which is the part that gets the most hammering
