The Shure 215s!!! I've had my pair for a literal decade, used them on every rig imaginable. Holds tight in my ear and the canal design cuts the noise extremely well. So great when you are running fast.
Bro your posting frequency this week has been epic! I have no idea how you turn around these epic videos so quickly! Autofocus anamorfake video this weekend? 😜
Nice to see you settling into your Sony kit. It stings to lose so much money on some gear, but it’s best to consolidate to one brand and not have to carry lenses for multiple systems. Great kit!!
Loved seeing your kit because I do similar work with long interviews and b-roll for unscripted storytelling. I get to use C70's from my work for it, but am currently building my Sony kit for myself. I have an A7IV and a 24-105mm, and watching you go through your kit, everything makes so much sense. Appreciate you making a video on this!
this is amazing only thing is i miss that not EVERYONE was on sony lol. It is the BEST for cinema. Like canon dont got a venice. BUT it was more exclusive before. Happy to see you switch!
For the Mini 3 Pro, the RC controller is the one thing that makes us want to fly the drone. I had e the Mini 2 and hated connecting my phone, it felt like forever.
Damn that's a FULL STACK Sony rig. dope custom skins, you need a full Sony sponsorship. Would love to PA/work with you one day. There's some brands out in California/Texas that I would love to co-direct with you potentially if I could make it happen.
Your links don't take me to Amazon Canada unfortunately, I tried. I think I'll check out the Shure 215's instead of my big over the ear set. Thanks for the ideas.
Hahaha I clean them sometimes after if it’s really bad. But usually before packing for a gig I’ll give them a good cleaning. Just depends. If I’m doing back to back cowboy shoots I just clean the glass in between
I wanted and seriously considered getting the Peter McKinnon bag, but… man, I’m getting older and I can’t pack all that fuckin weight on my back anymore. I opted to get the Manfrotto roller suitcase instead and use a lighter Thinktank bag to lug around when I’m actually shooting. So I use the Manfrotto to set up a shooting base and then use the Thinktank to move around. The Thinktank is light enough to not big me down but heavy enough to lug around a good amount of gear, including my FX6.
Yeah I was thinking about seeing if the bag would fit into the Nanuk case so I can roll it around. Cause once I’m on location the FX6 stays built out for the remainder of the shoot days
Seeing the new sigma 50mm1.4 for sony for $849 while I have the rf50mm in my cart at $1400 more…its making me question everything. Also, ive got wandrd bags but I feel like the space just isnt great.
Damn you dropped off from Canon, WOW. I did not think you would do that. ...the price can drop off quite a bit when you sell but they tell us for lenses they keep their price point pretty, yeah RIGHT. I use Sony and quite like brother. Will be interesting to learn just how much you enjoy the process with Sony. I have a 20mm F/1.8G I like the 24GM but the 20mm looks great in your video. ...70 - 200mm (II) is smaller, have you tried it yet?
Dang I can’t believe you basically gave away the R5C for $3K 💀, someone got a hell of a deal. You won’t have that issue of depreciation with the Sony’s, those things keep their value for years I’m on the Shimoda adventure backpacks, truly impressive sleek rugged bags, but those P.M.’s look solid and spacious. Kit dialed in, ready 2 rock
I had a shimoda and fstop bags.. this Peter bag has been way more useful to me. It’s crazy. They’re all so damn expensive so it’s nice I don’t need to buy another one now
THE CAMERA SKIN - alphagvrd.com/collections/sony/products/sony-a7rv?aff=39
the skin like an army
Would you recommend putting the camera skins on your lenses as well or only your camera bodies?

Yeah any iem's...
The Sony 24-105 is so underrated. I freaking love that lens.

By neglecting deadlines 😂
@@cammackey 🤣🤣🤣 I feel that

Thank you for taking the time and sharing all these awesome UA-cam videos with us.
You made a great choice on the system 🔥🔥
Appreciate you stopping by brother!
just love the colors and rendering of this video. Have a great weekend!
Man these sony camera have gave me the ability to really setup up my look. So much dynamic range over the canon
And another one!

Sony a7IV would be good for talking head videos if you want something that has lens breathing compensation with Sony GM lenses.
Love the FX3 👌 great vid man!
Excellent load out man! I have the same bag and it’s 50lbs packed full. Definitely taking notes on your gear list.
Dang I need to weight mine. The waist straps come in handy.
this is amazing only thing is i miss that not EVERYONE was on sony lol. It is the BEST for cinema. Like canon dont got a venice. BUT it was more exclusive before. Happy to see you switch!
f***ing love this CameraSKIN
Me and my team will be using the FX3 for the first time next week.
Man I have been so blown away by these Sonys. The dynamic range is just crazy. Has great color separation too

I wonder if I can connect it to the Mavic 3 🤔
@@cammackey You can, I just ordered the 3 Classic.
Lighting in this video looks really nice and natural. How did you light this, I'm having a hard time figuring it out lol
Oh man maybe I’ll do a breakdown soon
Fun breakdown my guy! I love my mk400 and even the mk440! Posted both mon my doc last year. Way better than the rode mics
Dude I just barely descoversd it a couple weeks ago, where were you when I needed you bro?!?!
I know this is way off track but your lighting is insanely great! 👌🏼

so dope how you mod your gear.
what app are you using for monitoring the top down shot on the fx3? GREAT content
My guy @cammackey making it happen! Thanks for the video brother. Always good times seeing you ..... #Rock&Roll
Hey! Is it possible to apply a LUT directly onto the A7RV? Or is that something you have to do in post?
Your links don't take me to Amazon Canada unfortunately, I tried. I think I'll check out the Shure 215's instead of my big over the ear set. Thanks for the ideas.
Cam, thank you for the video! Is that the rode lavalier mic at 5:20? How do you like it? Thank you!
What do you think of the Tamron 35-150 on the fx6? Been thinking about it for mine...
Duuuude do you get your cameras wrapped/painted? Would you share where/how you get it done? They look so dope in the green!!
They’re skins. Link in the description 🙌🏽🤘🏽⚡️
@@cammackey Thanks!
I can’t find the fx6 skin for the life of me! Link only has Sonys mirrorless bodies. I haven’t wanted anything so bad for my fx6 🤤
Is that one of the Old West books from the Time Life series (1980’s) on your coffee table? I haven’t seen those in years.
Yes! My buddy Ian showed me and hunted one dow
Cam, in previous videos I saw you didn't even bother dusting off your lenses in the desert. How do you clean them?
Hahaha I clean them sometimes after if it’s really bad. But usually before packing for a gig I’ll give them a good cleaning. Just depends. If I’m doing back to back cowboy shoots I just clean the glass in between

@@cammackey Oh, thanks on the tip with the FX6 battery. I didn't know Sony compatible batteries with D-Tap exists. 👍
what monitor mount system do you use for the external one?
What pants are those?
And not to sound like a dweeb, but you've quickly become one of my favorite creators. Really love what you've been up to!
Thank you 😢 and they’re just Carhartts!
Now we need a What’s in my lighting gear/bags hahahaha
Ooooo coming soon. Like a month or two haha
@@cammackey hahahaha can’t wait!

How’d you secure the deer skin leather onto the handle?
Similar technique to wrapping leather on a bow
@@cammackey a how to video might be cool, I’m sure I’m not the only who wants some added grip to the top handle.
Shoot I would’ve bought it for 3k jkjkjk congrats dude! Hope you get your money back before the first half of the year 🤞🏽
great video bro! but i think u meant to say "it's a UA-cam video I couldn't* care less" not "it's a UA-cam video I could care less"

From what I’ve seen the sigma glass has some bad CA. I’m assuming the RF and Sony versions are pristine
