First of all I want to congratulate you in advance as you approach 1,000,000 subscribers. Your food adventures are the best! The first Tonkatsu was the Rolls Royce and the second was the Ford. Both unique and satisfy different cravings.
Congratulations, Mark for your success! Honestly, it took me watching a few shows to appreciate your show because of your reaction to delicious food. Now I'm your loyal fan.
Mark was like kid so happy seeing foods coming to table. His genuine happiness when expecting delicious foods just convinces everyone about his passion.
Both Tonkatsus look outstanding. I'm SO hungry now! I like mine most with mustard and chopped scallions. Amazing. Mark, congratulations. You're about to reach 2 million subscribers! Very well deserved, my friend.
Kambo Phom Would love to ;) already went there two more times to show it to my friends and everyone loved it. It's my favourite ramen so far, and I've been here for nearly 2 months now.
Hi Mark, Congratulations! I have been watching you since I fell ill in 2015. Through your videos, I can visit places and enjoy food that I will probably never get to do. I would like to see more videos of foods you enjoy. Mahalo! Aloha from Las Vegas from Celia
7:10 love that guys eyes haha, asymtric is lovely and interesting and the expression on his face as he is enjoying the food is intensified by that special look. adorable! love ur vids, love from Switzerland.
Marks.... Congratulations for making it to a MILLION subscribers! Well O.K I'm a little bit early, however, you should be over 1 million worldwide within 24 hours. Thank You so much for producing wonderful videos.
Mark, I really enjoy your videos AND value the information that you provide with each one, especially the name of each restaurant (in BOTH Latin and native scripts, as applicable) and the total price of each meal. Such information will help us retrace your footsteps when we visit those cities. Great job!
Congratulations, Mark. My name is Mike and I would like to see more instructional videos. For example, not only the preparation and cooking of Thai food, but also the different techniques and unique ingredients used. You've shown the common foods, but there are much more interesting dishes.
1 million hype mark, so happy for you. Do something special, its been so long since we see you cook. Show us some authentic recipe that you know, and ofc eat it for us.
Mark Wiens u know how happy i am when i got 2 notifications for you. First, you loved my comment. Then u replied. Thank you, Mark. U make my day 😃 hope u will come to indonesia again soon, and get 'BOTRAM' like u used to do in Bogor, Indonesia or you can try another sundanese food in Bandung 😃 and I wish ur family (you, ying & micah) have a good life as always. 😊
Mark Congratulations... 1M subscribers... ❤️❤️❤️ keep doing what you love most; always evolving for better; always an excellent family teamwork, (the filming, editting, producing, music, comments, etc.). God Bless You, your beautiful, supportive Ying and adorable Micah👏👏👏 your energy and soul are priceless, keep it true to yourself. Iol your love for spicy food... 👍👍👍
Keep going to japan because those are my favorite videos and because i will be going to japan to study in a university after 4 years, so its a good thing that you are showing the prices. KEEP UP THE AMAZING VIDEOS!!
XxSouljaxX Gamer oh wow sounds great that you will go to live in Japan to study :D maybe if you're interested in japanese foods, also like "regular conbini food taste tests" or recepies of homemade dishes, also travelling in Japan, I would like to suggest "TabiEats" they are lovely and very interesting, like comparing 10 types of Onigiri from different grocery stores and always with prices, maybe this will help you too to get ready for Japan :D
Congrats with you Marks. I was simply subscribe your channel just to study listening English but sometimes I didn't hear what are you speaking just enjoying the way how delicious with your signature reaction. You are amzing😁
Congratulations, Mike Wiens and Migrationology. 1,000,000! That's a lot of people you've brought along travel-eating and true-life-sharing with you in all your vlogs. Eating in most of the places you visited with your partners Ying(???phonetic???) and now, Mika has indeed enhanced my adventures. Wish to share more cheap but quality layover and very-short-visit eating from your vlogs. More power. Food connects us--with everyone, everyplace and creates a very long table from our beginnings to everyplace we have gotten. Full stomachs make for full travels!!! Please send me one each of those Migrationology caps and shirts.
Mark, I found your videos while watching food ranger. I love your energy! It's so positive, encouraging, and enjoyable. It's been inspiring to me. Thanks for being a part of my everyday
You inspire me to request that my Asian co-workers from Japan, China, Vietnam, Korea, Thailand and India take me to their favorite restaurants and show me how to enjoy each particular dish as it is made to be enjoyed. Cheers to you, your wife and precious son, from Texas.
Bruh all the Indian stuff u wud eat in America is not even close to authentic Indian food uk. U just hv to come here to enjoy our food even though i myself like Italian food more but u hv to come to India cuz indian food is not just CURRY like it's portrayed in foreign countries
You the best of all food bloggers. Natural passion beats business any time. Btw, tonkatsu is a perfect example of German/Japanese fusion. Keep rolling, Mark. Cheers, Chris
I found your video in my FB feed and came looking for you on YT! I am in love! I hit that sub button. This video was awesome and I cannot wait to main line your others!
We've just emigrated to Bangkok (and we're LOVING it!!) ... we tried our FIRST EVER Thai restaurant today! It was horrid! Ha!! Food was dreadful. 🤣 Looking forward to eating at some of the places you have reviewed over the next two years. Hopefully with better results! 😁😁😁😁😁 Love your stuff Mark. Keep doing what you're doing.
I have been watching you since last time you were in Japan like 2-3 years ago and now again we come around. Great job and now a million subscriber is JUST A START.
these videos come right in time for my first ever visit to Japan this September! thanks for your relentless good work and high quality videos - keep it up. Greetings from Switzerland
wow that's so cool Mark I hope you get even more subscribers then that and by the way happy 14 August cause I'm from Pakistan and I seriously love how you put the food in your mouth and Micha is so cute 😄😄😄 love you 😘😘😘
You look genuinely happy and I can't help but smile every time I see one of your videos. Your smiling face makes me smile. I am making it a bucket list goal of mines to meet you someday and enjoy a tasty meal with you Mark!!
Timu'jin _ Street food may be a possible to make a man cry. As you can see in America is rich, but have shitty food. So don't judge them by being poor.
Most of the food vloggers like Mark, Trevor, Mikey all are so in shape and fit. How?? Just really? What science is behind it or sorcery? And I struggle to stay in shape. **sigh**
Anwesha Barua ohh I know that feeling XD Mark does work out he explained, plus walking all day is like doing some slowly sport over hours, eating less heavy stuff off the camera. Plus does not everyday eat like what we see in one video, today it was even not that much and even healthy on the sidedishes. And I can imagine he has a very good kalorie-burning(sorry I don't know the word in english^^')
Let say put a 20lbs weight in your backpack and go for a walk for 2 hours a day. Do it for a month and without eating more food. You should lose at least 10lbs.
Mark, thank you for the recommendation! I just went to Butagumi this past week; I ate the Golden Boar, the Okinawan toro, and others I can’t remember but everything was incredible!
1st restaurant "butagumi" literally means pig class or pig team. 6:06 ”Tonkatsu" is usually served with sliced cabbage because cabbage includes S-Methylmethionine, aka Vitamin-U, which helps digest fat. For the same reason, you could meet sliced cabbage when eating other deep-fried cuisines.
Watching you is so satisfying! Keep on doing what you doing. As a Thai who is living away from home and having lived in Japan for years, I just want to jump right next you in these restaurants! Wonderful reviews! Kob kun ka! :D
Legend has it, that one day, Mark will find a food so good that he will lean so far off the camera that he will fall off the world.
OTF Okaasan hahahaha, mark taste face is a world heritage site.
Omg 😂😂😂 you gotta love Mark 😍
😆😆😆
Legend or prophecy?
Wow that almost made me laugh.
First of all I want to congratulate you in advance as you approach 1,000,000 subscribers. Your food adventures are the best! The first Tonkatsu was the Rolls Royce and the second was the Ford. Both unique and satisfy different cravings.

Hi Mark,

7:10 love that guys eyes haha, asymtric is lovely and interesting and the expression on his face as he is enjoying the food is intensified by that special look. adorable! love ur vids, love from Switzerland.

1:33 - "Deluxle" ^^
Congrats Mark! 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS!
Who wants Mark to visit Canada?
1st restaurant "butagumi" literally means pig class or pig team.
6:06 ”Tonkatsu" is usually served with sliced cabbage because cabbage includes S-Methylmethionine, aka Vitamin-U, which helps digest fat. For the same reason, you could meet sliced cabbage when eating other deep-fried cuisines.
日本人より礼儀が良い
