Shell cordovan is great learher
this leather easy to restore but spend lots of time
slicking bone is for wrinkle and care
Never touch the water, if you touch, clean the water right away
because The air bubbles rise on cordovan leather
=============How to care===============
1. Brushing
2. Apply cleaning cream and 10~15 m wait
3. Wipe off with cotton
4. Apply Cordovan cream or Delicate cream (Witch you use is fine)
5. Slicking with dear bone (It's really impotent)
if you Keep slicking, your wrinkle become flat
6. Apply Shell cordovan #8 color cream and 10~15 m wait
7. Wipe off with cotton
8. brushing
9. Apply any leather cream in lining leather
10. Apply leather oil at leather out sole & stitch leather line

A bit overkill imo. I would do such an operation maximum once a year. Shine-wise I recommend brush before cloth, because cloth gives more shine and brush is better at removing excess polish. More force with brushing and high speed cloth at the end for highest polish.
Good polish! I like cordovan of Alden, and I bought 54321. Very good shoes.

you can get a better shine if you use less polish in successive layers and apply it with your finger or a cloth instead, with the brush it just looks like you lobbed it on

PLEASE brush harder, the cordocan looks like it just has paint on it. You need to be able to buff off all the left over cream and make the leather shine more and look smooth.

How do I go about resurfacing a vintage shell razor strop. It has minor scratches and scuffs, and it a bit dry, because it's 80+ years old, I was curious if I could lightly sand, and then do a deep clean with saddle soap?

분야는 다르지만 저는 축구화를 좋아했어서 소가죽, 캥거루 가죽 관리 즐겨했는데
코도반 가죽에 뼈를 사용하는건 제게 너무 큰 충격이네요. ㅎㅎ
최근들어 구두가 눈에 들어와서 입문하려고 공부중인데 꿈의 알든이네요.
실물은 아니지만 동영상으로 보니 가죽 질감이 신기하네요.
덕분에 눈호강 하고 갑니다.

사슴뼈로 긁어주면 열이 발생하면서 사슴뼈에 들은 영양분이 코도반에 흡수가 되요 ㅎㅎ 그러면 가죽의 스크래치나 주름이 복원되요 ㅎㅎ 코도반은 큰 스크래치가 생겨도 사슴뼈로 계속 문지르면 없어져서 정말 중요하고 좋은 작업이에요 ㅎㅎ 그래서 소가죽보다 복원할 수 있는 범위?가 넓어지게 되요

I normally use a mild cleaner. However, when there are many overlapping shoe cream, use Renomat.

Using Bone slicks look like your scuffing up your shoes with tiny scratches even after your use horse brush to remove scuffs.
I would like to hear a response regarding this concern as well.
MetalsForBrunch I have the same concern too, those scratches is quite obvious under the sun. Would like to see the comments from others.
I don’t think you’re using that bone correctly. It’s intended to be used to slowly apply pressure over the rolls in the leather where the shoe creases, to try and smooth out the surface. You’re just grinding oil into the leather, and not doing much to push out the rolls/creases from the cordovan.

I am not perfect. But actually I used the bone for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Using bones is boring. So I edited it.
