I'd be interested to see if the top players start putting some clauses in their contracts around number of games played. Maybe X appearance fee up to 40 games, 2X for 40-50, 5X 50-60 etc so that clubs take resting them where appropriate more seriously.
Question for the show: Realistically, how would a player strike really work in futbol (specifically for the EPL)? Not every team is playing European tournament football, most teams have a regular season schedule; so could Rodri and the other x amount of players that truly believe in striking, actually have a leg to stand on as a reason to strike? Especially when the coach can just rotate the player, but is not (specifically for Rodri, Pep just started rotating him IMO.)
