Best sounding truck exhaust of all time. So so good. I know there have been faster and more refined trucks made since this came out, but there is just something really special about this.
For me the best sounding will always be the dodge little red express or the warlock either a 360 (in the lre) or the beefy 440 in the warlock (available with every engine but the 440 is the biggest lol)
Actually, these trucks set the world speed record that has yet to be broken by a true production truck. The TRX and Raptor R may be a little quicker in the 1/4 mile but the SRT-10 will easily get them before a 1/2.
I owned one of these from 2012-2014. There will always be a special place in my heart for this truck. I learned how to drive a stick in this thing. After 2 years, I realized it deserved better, though. I was using it as a daily driver and didn't have a garage for it. The payments and gas were killing me. I hope she's in a better place where she never sees the rain and only comes out on nice days.
Everyone saying dodge started putting out crazy stuff with the trackhawk and hellcat Durango but they always did some crazy shit for example this beast.
Wow perfecting timing. Looking at trucks and with the price of trucks nowadays. This is your best bang for your buck. They even keep up with the Trx! These are definitely slept on and we should keep it that way. It’s semi affordable for your average person now
@@OGMOPAR Not the TRX but it honestly wouldn’t take much to get it up there; it’s really easy to bump that 8.3L v10 up to the mid 600HP range and with the lower height and weight of the SRT10, mid 600HP should be sufficient.
@thefourshowflip Fair enough. Trx will eat it off the line I think. Would be interesting to see some roll races between them. Obviously srt 10 will pull away after 118. Both badazz trucks without a doubt 🏁
@@OGMOPAR I’ve never driven a TRX but I did own a 06 Quad Cab and…its not the best off the line… even with those 305 wide tires, the back end would let loose so easy. You’d either want a skilled driver that can really meter the power on launch or weigh down the back tires. I’m sure they still make them, but they had form fit water pouches that went in the bed to add like 400# that would sit over the rear wheels…never tried it but couldn’t hurt lol
A dealership I went to had one of these. The salesman let me sit in it and even start it but a test drive was noway! Heck they had a couple porsches and landrovers and even a supra. I bought a $5500 half ton ford. Wierdest used car dealership and the best I've ever been too. This was 15 years ago and I think it's a burgerking now.
I had a 2004 Dodge Ram SRT 10 and I regret selling it. Im back in the market for one. I highly recommend this truck. Its not super fast if you have a newer fast car to compare it to. If you are short in height I don’t recommend it as the adjustable pedals may still be too far for you. And yes, definitely long gear shift.
I wonder how this RAM on steroids handle on ice and snow.... Even unintentional road skating in a car is illegal in my country... do winter tires for regular RAM fit to this SRT version?

We had one in red... it was amazing to drive. Kinda felt like shifting a locomotive Engine!!! We had it for about 5 years and it was a ton of fun.
