    • @mikesteelheart
      @mikesteelheart 2 роки тому +54

      They just view kids as status symbols to make other women jealous with how perfect their life "appears" to be. Kids don't really care about having cute clothes, 100 toys, and living in a mcmansion. They want their mommy to raise them, not darecare. If women really cared about their kids they'd be stay at home moms in a modest home for a husband who makes 40k with one car, and NO daycare. But of course appearances are more important than actual happiness of children or even their health.

    I have a lot of family members who vote Democrat left. When I scratch the surface of their positions, I ALWAYS discover that they vote that way because of fear and hope. They are all fearful of what other people 'might' do (use guns illegally, infect other people, vote for 'Trump', 'we must support the alphabet person!' while not actually doing anything measurable, etc..), rather than what people actually do. They also base their votes on the 'hope' that Problem X will get magically fixed by 'government', w/o actually knowing whether said 'government' actually has a plan. I've given up pointing out the irrationality of these positions. When people make decisions emotionally rather than rationally, there's no swaying them from that position.

For two reasons: it eliminates the stress caused by having to compete with girls who may have better clothes or nicer bodies, and so they don’t sexualize their bodies precociously by dressing like quasi streetwalkers and paint themselves up like Indians. Most girls will start this behaviour at twelve or thirteen. They already see themselves as adults and don’t realize how bad they look. The internet is a mighty foe but be ready for many fights. She will test your will, don’t be afraid to show her your boundaries even if it means that she could be afraid of you. Your wisdom will come through to her in the future. Hopefully, you will send her to private school where there will be dances, ( in my day, they were called cotillions) where she will meet boys from other schools, the whole thing strictly supervised. Encourage her talents and interests. Try to keep her away from malls or hangouts. Believe me, if she meets a bad guy, you might not be able to get rid of him. Be twice as vigilant if she is pretty! If something like 50 percent of tradesmen walked out and moved somewhere else it would accelerate the collapse. As they leave it would trigger other productive men to leave. The general rule is the square root of the number of employees do 50 percent of the actual work. It only takes small numbers of men to leave to allow the other small number of men to do 50 percent of the work - they leave as the work load increases on them.
      By rights productive men could collapse the rotten edifice by simply walking out for 3 weeks. No truck moves, no aircraft moves, nothing is fixed, nothing is installed, no food is produced, the power plants , water plants fall silent. Sure the brainwashed amongst men will try and keep the lights on but they will fail.

So there is an overhead to government programs replacing the functions that were done in the past by housewives in raising their children. This overhead actually raises the total cost per child being raised. It would be in theory subsidized by taxing non-parents or parents of adult children by spreading the cost. Invariably public schools, daycare centers all involve themselves with attempts at social re-engineering through indoctrination. Under the theory that most human behavior is learned and not genetic. This theory was disproven by the Soviet Union. One does not teach a human being to not be greedy and altruistic. You were spot on about the last Canadian Federal Election. I worked the election, and I was amazed at how poorly informed or outright ignorant the typical voter was about the candidates, let alone the issues. I had one who opened her ballot card asking me “which one is the Liberal guy?”, another asked “which one if FOR Trudeau?”. The worst one had said that they couldn’t find Biden’s name on the ballot. I thought they were trying to be funny and laughed out loud. She gave me this icy “How dare you!” stare…she wasn’t kidding, she really thought she was there to vote for Biden. I tried to be diplomatic and explained that he was the sitting US President, and would not therefore be on a Canadian ballot. I never once had anyone ask “which one is the Conservative guy?” Or “which one is for Maxime Bernier?”. Makes me realize the Liberal’s voter base.

    In the western world the democracy has come to a point where is no longer functioning. The concept of 1-person = 1-vote is obsolete because of the welfare system in place today, where 20% of the population is producing wealth and paying taxes, 30% is basically idle and the remaining 50% is living on the shoulders of the first 20%.
    The solution is simple. We replace democracy with meritocracy. It means that our vote counts proportionally to how much taxes we pay. Those who live with social security have no rights to vote; they can restart voting when they are productive again.

    Disagree with the day care sentiment. My wife and I are very engaged with our son, but he has a speech delay and no siblings. In the age where schools want "virtual learning" and "social distancing" this was absolutely detrimental. He needs to be around other kids to help him along, so he does daycare a 3 days a week for that interaction, and it has helped tremendously. Now that he has that under his belt, we will probably reassess and pull him out, but it hasn't been a bad thing. To the people who leave their kids in 5 days a week and bring them home to watch Netflix at night, yeah, that is terrible for the kid.

      I live in Romania (home country, but my perspective is informed from also being a CAN citizen). Depending on where you're coming from, both countries can be an improvement wrt the topic at hand. I would tend to agree with @Revelator, UKR makes more sense for a complete foreigner to the region, if one isn't already a citizen of one of the EU countries. If you do hold one of the EU citizenships, you should try settling in either ROM or POL, or even BG - just up your sticks and go, there's little to it really, logistically speaking. This eastern immigration has already been happening for some years, but it's not widely spoken of. Adult men from NL, GER, BE come and buy houses they couldn't have ever afforded in their home countries. There are also retirement couples immigrating and buying rural properties. Prince Charles bought up half a village in Transylvania. Give me a shout when you land, I might be able to give you a bit of cultural orientation.

    I used to work civil service at a large west coast city. One girl, Kelly, in the shop office had a kid, then a year or two later had another kid or two. All by different fathers I think, at least these kids looked different from each other. None of my business, but the part that disturbed me a bit was that she DID NOT WANT A HUSBAND/FATHER! She just wanted the kids and didn't need "NO DAMN MAN" (I'm paraphrasing). So this broad had 2 or 3 kids, different fathers, no husband, no father hanging around, and she didn't even want one either. She happened to be a black woman, but the point is, more and more of these 21st century women think this is a perfectly fine way to raise kids: with no father around. Around that time is when I started to think what OP says, "decline of the west". Fortunately I'm old by now and I won't worry much about the impending social disaster, I'm just hoping it all happens after I'm dead and buried!
