I laughed hard when arjun/nakul said "yeah but youre not tikki tikki", and then it switched straight to there father who sounded exactly like that... "What wanting, You claimed PPI?"
Simon Lundberg So true, opposed to mostly all other chefs night, where the poor chefs, gets mad dishes in those restaurants they visited (which give a weird vibe too, like they want to impress vice or some shit), and then nothing in their own places.
Awesome episode with awesome people! This is what Chef's Night Out is all about - people having a great time whilst eating great food. Way to pull it back from the last episode - which was utter boredom.
Holy smokes, I've lived in Los Angeles and never heard or went to any of these restaurants. I've been living under a rock. I think it's time to visit them.
One of the best Munchies videos yet. Indian food is woefully underrepresented on the channel. These guys seem to be nailing Indian food! Plus there's kingfisher beer for good measure!!
***** are you out of your mind? Indian food is awesome. So many different flavors. Is just that there isn't a way to cook it fast and as a result it doesn't work for most people (especially Americans). There's plenty of Indian restaurants where I live. Though I suspect that that's probably because I love in India.
I had the opportunity to meet Nakul and he is one of the chillest guys I ever met. I told him I was a fan and he brought a bottle of liquor and we took 4 shots back to back. Now you tell me what owner does stuff like that? This dude is dope asf food was amazing as well.
j blin I've been almost all around India except the N.E and the best cuisines which I found out were hyderabadi and punjabi. I'm from Delhi so I'm a little biased but every region has great food and culture
+Frost Dasgupta Poutine is from Montreal, he's just saying after a night of partying/drinking or whatever we grab poutines in Toronto. It is one of the goto drunk foods.
Montreal has culture w/Smoked Meat, Sugar Shacks, Wood Fire Oven Bagels, Tourtiere (Meat Pie), Poutine, etc Toronto has immigrants w/Culture from other places
Torontonians generally have an inferiority complex and want to be American more than anything. Montrealer's have no fuck to give and are not lame twats that call the Army when it snows more than an inch
Lot's of Syrian butt holes for AJ's penis to choose from. The Bloc does it's jobs and scares away the weak to Toronto that can't handle a little snow and culture
_chicken tikka_ *very much* came from Punjab region. It is a *barbeque* dish, made with chunk meat (i.e. _tikka_) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken_tikka The addition of *sauce / gravy* (i.e. _masala_) was a *_disastrous accident_* from UK.
Repping Torontooooooo! I don't know about that butter chicken sauce poutine, but if you're drunk and down for whatever, which is pretty much what Torontonians are at 3am, could be good. But ain't nothing like shawarma though! God this makes me miss home (Toronto that is)
its indian influenced, and indian in origin. Most pakistani and indian dishes overlap, idiot. They split around 60 years ago, doesnt make the culture and dishes completely different
Everytime I see people trying to make poutine, they always mess up something even though it's a 3 ingredients recipe. Here the sauce was way too thick and the cheese wasn't cheese curds. But hey, they've got fries at least! haha (but even in Montreal, 9 out of 10 poutine is disgusting. it's really because the good stuff is unbelievable that this meal survives with this much failure rate)
I laughed hard when arjun/nakul said "yeah but youre not tikki tikki", and then it switched straight to there father who sounded exactly like that... "What wanting, You claimed PPI?"
I'm so glad somone else noticed.
First chefs in months who whipped up something good after ending up in their own restaurant. I really enjoyed this episode!
Yeah was getting tired of bowls of pasta
Simon Lundberg So true, opposed to mostly all other chefs night, where the poor chefs, gets mad dishes in those restaurants they visited (which give a weird vibe too, like they want to impress vice or some shit), and then nothing in their own places.
You have no idea how funny your last name is. Next time you're around an Indian, ask him
@@ankursharma1839 That's seriously specific.
One of the better episodes in a while. Nice to see some WC action.

***** Wrong. Indian Food just doesn't have the same exposure as Italian or Mexican, etc. Take UK for example. Indian Food is MASSIVE.

Naw dawg, it's about that Goan food, son.

spoken like a true ignorant who doesnt know anything about India and its diversity
j blin I've been almost all around India except the N.E and the best cuisines which I found out were hyderabadi and punjabi. I'm from Delhi so I'm a little biased but every region has great food and culture

lol those indian chefs think chicken tikka masala came from punjab.
It was invented in Glasgow by Bangladeshi immigrants to appease western palates.
_chicken tikka_ *very much* came from Punjab region. It is a *barbeque* dish, made with chunk meat (i.e. _tikka_)
