  • Making and using a draw bolt jig. It's a super simple jig to make and its good if you have a mitre joint to join on thicker material.

You can tell by your shop and homemade benches that you know what you’re doing. This helped explain how to join particleboard for my laminate countertop build, Thanks!

Very interesting. Thank you for showing this. I wonder how it manages the wood seasonal movement. If it can manage it, I'll use it everywhere... including in my coffee.

My brother in law told me about draw bolts and to watch this. Been professional woodworker for 7 years w my business FlagshipFurniturebuilder dot com and I’m building an 11.5’ x 6’ kitchen island for a client and he suggested draw bolts for the project. Never used them but I think this would be an appropriate application for them so I’ll report back and tell you how it works. Oh, the biggest challenge of this island, it’s all 2” butcher block.

    Here simply for the thumbnail!
I thought you were going to show how to use one of those external ones that don't get embedded into the wood.
It's on the video thumbnail, but I don't think you showed one in the actual video. Do you know what they're called?
