Making and using a draw bolt jig. It's a super simple jig to make and its good if you have a mitre joint to join on thicker material.

My brother in law told me about draw bolts and to watch this. Been professional woodworker for 7 years w my business FlagshipFurniturebuilder dot com and I’m building an 11.5’ x 6’ kitchen island for a client and he suggested draw bolts for the project. Never used them but I think this would be an appropriate application for them so I’ll report back and tell you how it works. Oh, the biggest challenge of this island, it’s all 2” butcher block.
