Self-Opening Secret Concealment Dresser V2 Build
1:07:57 to see it finished.
This is a redesign of a concealment dresser I came up with a few years ago. This version is a total refinement of the previous and features higher quality finishes throughout, a superior latching mechanism, a self-opening top, soft-closing drawers, and a rechargeable 12v battery system that powers high-output dimmable color changing LEDs.

Self opening bar pass through window
Переглядів 11 тис.4 роки тому
Finished project @28:17 A good friend of mine was building a high-end home to sell in the DC area and asked me if I could make a few things, one of them being a window for the downstairs bar. It had to be self opening, trackless, lockable, seal directly on the counter top, and I had to use a 60lb window sash with a slim frame from the manufacturer. It was not an easy challenge. The tolerances h...
New Shop

1:03 for new shop My shop was great and had charm but it was getting a little too cramped to do anything without moving 10 other things so I moved it to a new spot right down the street. I'll be getting back into making videos now that I'm set up. Thanks for Watching! Music soundcloud.com/clayjaymusic/tulpa-deer-stared-at-me-clayjay-remix-1
Jumbo Vase
Переглядів 1,2 тис.6 років тому
This is the biggest vase I've made. The top and bottom are walnut and the spiral section is made out of maple and padauk. It's 2ft tall. I built a new centering jig for this vase since it was gonna be too tall for the old one. Should have a video soon of that. Also used the steady rest I made in a previous video and it worked great. 3d Cutting Board
Переглядів 157 тис.6 років тому
I made a few of these for Mother's Day. The strips are 5/8" X 1 7/8" and made of maple, walnut, and cherry. Making sure and double checking the pattern before glueing is KEY. I learned how to make this from another youtube video. Mtmwood, He makes some pretty awesome cutting boards. ua-cam.com/video/zqgbbziBkvo/v-deo.html Thanks for watching! Steel Gun Cage

7:00 to see the finished project. I thought this thing would be fun to make. It's not very practical but it looks cool. I didn't put a lock on it to keep it clean looking but it wouldn't be hard. It's also possible to lag bolt it to the wall through the back expanded metal and then put the peg board on (that way it'd be a lot tougher to rip off the wall). Just an idea I had for a while. Thanks ...
Wooden Flowers
Переглядів 7 тис.6 років тому
This wooden flower is made out of padauk with an dak dowel for the stem. You can get fancy and put a slight curve on the stem after soaking it in some hot water. The flowers are pretty fast to make with the right tools. Thanks for watching! Music soundcloud.com/user-307409095/banks-better-flip-extended

Walnut Live Edge Cutting Board
Переглядів 24 тис.7 років тому
Made this cutting board for a wedding gift for some friends. The butterfly key and the "C&L" inlay are cherry. I cut down the walnut about 2 years ago at a friends farm that needed clearing, then milled it with a chainsaw mill and let it air dry with a tarp cover. Thanks for watching! Dude !!! This was an hour and a little bit video, how long did this take you?? I mean you can call this the Fort Knox dresser, holy smokes it's totally overkill on the all the metal but it's friggin awesome just the same. This has a whiff of the National treasure resolute desk only rustic AF hahaha. Great job.

Insanely sick, my man. Phenomenal work. True craftsmanship and pride. All I wish I could get is a garage. You got an awesome workshop. Wish I knew why I could never be in a position to do the things I want to do. I am always in the weather, cold or don't have the insane tooling you have. 😒 Kudos.

Very nice! Your attention to detail with the metalwork is amazing. Question though....you said you started with two coats of semi gloss then went to satin for the last. Why is that? Why not use satin for all three coats?
