Trading in a collection like this warms my heart. Freeing up that space and time to spend with the family, making some money for it, and allowing others to know have joy from these games is a beautiful thing! Oh, and Rick also makes money. LOL
I am building my collection last few years, currently 29, hoping one day to sell it similar to this for my family once i am done enjoying it :)@retroricksgamepoint
I can only imagine the emotions. I went to a retro store semi recently and someone turned in a Chrono Trigger. I asked if I can see it and a rush of 5th grade nostalgia flooded my brain. I had my son with me and realized the last time I held a physical copy of the game, I wasn’t much older than him
That Nintendo themed backpack was the cherry on top for that collection. I wish I had that when I was a kid. That guy's gaming collection was pretty impressive, love his N64 selection of games especially.
Hey Rick! Here's comment 100. First, living in Vermont, five inches is a dusting here. Two,today's my 54th birthday and the 40th anniversary of hulkamania. Unfortunately,I wasn't well today. Thanks to my wife and awesome youtubers like you, pixel game squad,gabbo,n.a.r.c.,Ed's retro geek out, pixel dan,I am able to relive my childhood memories. Saturday morning cartoons, cereal, toys, comic books, etc. Thanks again and my best to you and your family. 🙏👍🎮🕹🤓
It is my hope to one day be able to take my boys and fly over to see and experience the nostalgia overload that is your store! Love watching all the videos and content. Peace ✌️ and love from Pinecrest, FL
We had all the "big" SNES games when I was growing up ,but .... My favorite SNES games as a kid were PLOK and Shaq-Fu haha I just love the music those in those games too.
lot of emotions in this one, from someone trading their childhood in to now Rick thinking about back stocking Hulk....the winds of change are happening
I'd hate to say it but did you check the starter for the Nintendo sign before buying the new bulbs? I had done something similar and thought it was the bulb issue but it was the starter the whole time
I unfortunately was pressed to get rid of my SNES and Genesis collections at a garage sale back in the day. I have never bought another retro game since, heartbreak of a lifetime
Chrono trigger was also my favorite game you just get lost in the story its so good. Ive wanted an original but cant afford it and my original eas gone long ago.
Don't know if i can narrow it down to my favorite Super Nes game but my all time favorite games are sunset riders, guts, killer instinc, marvel war of the gems, aladdin, turtles in time, and super mario world
@@retroricksgamepoint I remember spending and entire summer trying to beat like 2 dungeons in the dark world and didn't want to use a strategy guide. One of the most satisfying moments of my childhood.
Dude I've thought of getting rid of my games and consoles but I think I would straight up cry if I did. Back in 2018 I got rid of a bunch of my books that I got back in highschool and I'm still wishing I never did. I love my books. Oh and my games also
A new center piece for store? Must be a statue collection of all the Earth Bound heroes!!! Likely not, but can’t wait to see what you add. Also Earthbound is tied for my favorite game, as I also really love Donkey Kong Country 2.
Só jogão , meu sonho e ter essa coleção de fitas do snes !! Aqui no Brasil pra ter essas fitas vale um Rim !! Kkkk. Meu jogo favorito : Super Metroid , Donkey Kong e James Bond junior 😂
Chrono Trigger is the best SNES game but I also love the Megaman X games as well. I have tons of memories playing Megaman X growing up. About a year ago I found a Nintendo Power Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow for $1 at the DAV. I ended up selling it for $80 on eBay. I wish I could flip things like that all the time.
If I would’ve been selling when the earthbound music kicks in while looking at the trades my nostalgia would’ve kicked in and I would have left with everything I came with.
This dude is gonna be kicking himself that he sold these. Sorry but I would never give up something so precious as your childhood video game collection for a shitty weekend trip to Disney. I'd rather get a second job or find some other way.
The control deck should be cheaper than $300 despite the age of it. Age should not matter on the price of video games. Most games retail anywhere from $30-$80 and that’s just for the regular version but 20+ years later the value increases? I think it’s ridiculous that the market increases games just because some influencer tells people how awesome a certain game is and everyone is going out to buy it and then there is a small amount of copies left
Trading in a collection like this warms my heart. Freeing up that space and time to spend with the family, making some money for it, and allowing others to know have joy from these games is a beautiful thing! Oh, and Rick also makes money. LOL
Very well said! Ya we are pumped to have this collection in the shop!

Happy birthday dude!
Happy late birthday, and being from Maine, when he said "snow" I was literally laughing.
You do have a amazing game shop!!! That would be awesome working in a place like that, and all the cool stuff you guys come across
I've also been looking for a DK64 prima strategy guide for a while. Hopefully it's still in the shop next time I come through!
This channel/concept is great. You could release one of these everyday and they would still be interesting. More please.
he has a 2nd channel all about the store you need to check out
@luvwwe this is the second channel about the game store
so glad you are enjoying the game store content!
@@retroricksgamepoint I also enjoy and look forward to this channel more than any other of my other subscriptions.
If never ceases to amaze me how awesome your shop is. Congratulations on all your success.
thank you so much Michael...we love this place!

Favorite SNES game is Super Metroid, it's simply the best. Also, I'm shocked you would get rid of the Hulk.
dang such a great pick!
Keep up the good work with the store and channel!! Hope to make it over there one day!!! 😄👍
it's CoOL to See the journey guys ! You have a Great team ! having a store where Humans/Ghost/Grablins can go is really important to me !
Love the channel! Never stop playing
thanks for watching my friend!
Oh what I wouldn't give to have that Hulk piece. Absolutely love that thing.
Those early Nintendo games was a big part of his childhood. He also subscribed to Nintendo Power.
for sure...a great collection of nintendo goodness
We had all the "big" SNES games when I was growing up ,but .... My favorite SNES games as a kid were PLOK and Shaq-Fu haha I just love the music those in those games too.
I hope it's a statue of Riff at the Flea Market
hahaha id throw that thing away
@@retroricksgamepoint 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.....i just poompt my pants!
As an Arkansasan that lives about 45 minutes from Conway I can say we never get snow like for example one year on Christmas it was over 70 degrees!
i know right...a wild week of cold weather!
Great video like always 😊 I found an awesome retro toy today, doing a video on it

Awesome. I’ll be sure to take my games to trade and sell to ya when your convention comes up.
sounds good to me!
5:24 this dude definitely emulates all these games now
Best perk of being a Game Store owner is being able to cherry pick the best items for your own collection! So awesome!
I had a lot of time playing “Hook” never got to finish it but I do remember playing it a lot.
love that game too...a little slow but still so great!
As amazing as the Hulk statue is, it would be better suited to a comic store.
I think a refresh would be fantastic for the entry.
what is he supposed to do with it lol?
I love how much traction Thomas The Tain got... Laughed pretty hard at that.
Three are those who say that trade is still going on to this very day.
hahah seriously that trade was wild
I'd hate to say it but did you check the starter for the Nintendo sign before buying the new bulbs? I had done something similar and thought it was the bulb issue but it was the starter the whole time
I unfortunately was pressed to get rid of my SNES and Genesis collections at a garage sale back in the day. I have never bought another retro game since, heartbreak of a lifetime
I said in a previous video that Hulk is awesome but a little out of place in your store. I am excited to see what you got coming in.
More gentle with those bulbs then he ever is with games 😂
Replacing hulk with a giant Mario statue perhaps?
hmmm perhaps.....
You coming to game on expo in phoenix in march?
Can you do a video on how we can get tickets to your convention in October??
we will update everyone soon!
Chrono trigger was also my favorite game you just get lost in the story its so good. Ive wanted an original but cant afford it and my original eas gone long ago.
South park on N64 was one of the most underrated games it was so good for a kart racer battle
What a cliff hanger 👏🏼
A friend and I went by the store, and we walked away with that chrono trigger :P lols
Don't know if i can narrow it down to my favorite Super Nes game but my all time favorite games are sunset riders, guts, killer instinc, marvel war of the gems, aladdin, turtles in time, and super mario world
Did I mention I watched all your videos on this channel in 3 night shifts lol
wow..thats insane...thanks for watching!

Amazing trade in. Could Hulk fit upstairs at the balcony? With all the safety cables of course.
Can you do a video on most expensive/rarest items in the store you currently have or ever had?
Did u guys close bc of that snow 😂 I live in Canada and more literally fell during the length of this video

i could almost think a donkey kong statue from like the nintendo new york store it could be a great addition to the store.
Great video 👍
Your “5 inches” of snow looks like about an inch of snow for us in Michigan😂
Are there plans for an online store?
you guys should get some rare Final Fantasy collectibles in there! Nintendo is popular but nothing trumps FF's cool factor ;)
You call that snow? Bud come to Ontario and we will show you some snow.
my fav super Nintendo game is the mask it's side scroller based the 1994 movie of the same name
should try & get hulk waether proofed & stick him on the front of the roof.. or outside...

The piece that you are going to change for HUlk, is it the skateboard character of the shop?.
Did you manage to find someone to make it?.
I had that Nintendo backpack as a kid and completely forgot it existed 😮

thank you for the kind words!
pawn stars also shows what they pay for items. this channel hides it.
good content! Keep up the good work!
It's gonna be tough finding something that trumps The Incredible Hulk era statue. It's insanely cool 😎
By hulk. Never got why it was still there.
def have a plan!
I was eyeballing that hulk. I feel like I need that in my basement!

What happened to the Gordom Freeman statue?

Favorite game was TMNT IV Turtles in Time and Mario RPG
That's not snow. That's a dusting.
hahaha its a blizzard for us
Phantom Crash great game you should buy it.
Please say the piece to replace the Hulk is a full size master chief
I've always thought that although the Hulk statue is beautiful, it's not the best fit. I feel similarly about the Simpsons and McDonalds stuff though.
