I like how your game store is so different than any other game store and I don’t know how often you do it when someone buys a console whether it is modern or retro and the age of the customer but that was a really nice thing you done for that kid.
I bought Thousand Arms earlier today at my local game store. It had the card and all the stickers were sealed. They had it for $200, but I paid $160. They're really good to me since I go almost every week and pay cash. I'm friendly and talk to all the staff, and it's my best connection/relationship I have ever made when it comes to game collecting. They've saved me thousands at this point. Shout out to Land Of Electronics in Bridgewater, MA.
Going through the end brought back memories. I had a Nes with four controllers and Mario bros, Tetris and Nintendo world cup on it, so many hours spent playing my dad and brother on that
I wish we had stores like yours in the UK. There are a few retro cafe's and a retro pub which has a ton of old arcade games dotted around but no real stores that have that kind of fun atmosphere.
I love video games retro or new releases and i watch tons of UA-cam videos about them. Taking $50 and showing us what games we could buy with it is brilliant. That's my favorite part of the channel. Thanks retro Rick
As soon as I see a new VT from Rick I am on it!! In the UK we just don't have stores like this anymore. I so want to visit Rick and team, it's on my bucket list of things to do.
I kinda wish there was a little more time spent with the customers in this video. Especially those that travel from different countries to visit you guys. I feel there was a missed opportunity here to share/discuss more about their interests and culture and how they differ from ours. Cheers 👍
Wpuld be nice to maybe just ask their story abit they might have interstinf storys gaming has been very different at different places from time to time did they have legit nes or bootleg consoles in iceland when he was a kid thsts what i would be interested in as some smaller population countrys or for various reasons wouldnt get actusly hardware not asking for huge storys just whst brought them to this point @myzticallionstallion3445
@myzticallionstallion3445 Haha, I do actually. That's kinda where my thoughts originated from. I get that he's running a store, but it doesnt always have to be just about the next big trade in/score. It's about the nostalgia too right? How it connects us to our younger selves and how we can share that as a community. 👍
Rick, I enjoy the new content and everything about the store, but I have to ask... will there ever be another 10 dollar game challenge?? I know it takes a lot of your time, but it's been one of my favorite things about your channel. Maybe even incorporate it into the store some way. Keep up the great work!
Love your videos and the content but what I love more then that is they fact that you are representing the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with the NLC jacket
Just a great channel. I live in South Carolina and wish I could visit these guys! Just started collecting because of it. Got my SNES original console....hahahah I'm 42! I love it
hello Rick love your channel big retro fan here just a quick tip for storage and easy searching for consoles , why dont you use different color postits for diffrent consoles nes grey - psx red etc etc and when they are all on a shelf its easy to see what consoles u need and what consoles you have , thanks for the channles.
Thousand arms is one of the games that just went missing over the years for me, I was thinking about replacing it awhile ago. Thought a weird anime dating JRPG can't be that much. (boy was I wrong). I loved the cheap retro gaming 50$ part of the video, I really enjoy that there are still good options for cheap.
Best part is the kiddo and the game shot at the end !!! Love that man, Keep up the Cool-ness and "Fun-ness" for the kids !!! Happy Selling/Giving !!! PS.. what game did he pick??
I love the idea/concept of whatnot. My only problem is I'm not a big fan of the speed involved, especially when trying to keep up with dollar amounts. It's why, even though I love auctions and enjoy watching them, I've never tried one in person. Some of those auctioneers can literally speak so fast it's hard for me to understand them, and I think something's at like a hundred bucks one moment can literally climb up to thousands in a matter of moments in the right auction. Plus, I prefer to operating through my PC. I don't like to clutter my phone with a lot of apps because I don't want to drain a lot of power if I can avoid it. So naturally I hope we can get some cool offers and features for us PC users and it all just doesn't get offered to the phone guys.
For the convention in October, how do you do with tables and chairs?. Will you buy them or rent, if there´s someone that rents lots of tables and chairs?.
“Greenland is covered in ice, and Iceland is very nice.” -Mighty Ducks 2 C’mon Rick, you’re better than that! Misquoting to an actual Icelander 😂 Wolf “The Dentist” Stannson would be very disappointed in you
I have literally hundreds of games, some PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox360, Wii, WiiU, ect. I'm in Central Florida though, and I have no idea when I'll be out your way. Are you coming to any shows or anything in Florida in the future?
Can’t wait for February 19th. First day of my vacation. I’ll be stopping there on my way to Arizona. It’s a month away but I’ll bring some badass PlayStation stuff to trade. I need NES games. I’m only about 660 from completing the run!!!
Easier to find leak in bathtub of water than a squirt bottle of soapy water. Find it… dry off that spot (likely on a seam) and apply super glue. Simple. ;)
Im so bummed that physical media is disappearing. I have been playing DS and 3DS games and the fact that the 3DS games dont have manuals is just meh. I used to love looking through the manuals for the artwork and extra lore for GBA and GBC games.
Certain PC games cannot be played properly now because of servers shut down. Most.od the old ubisoft games also will not install as it is now Ubisoft Connect. Need to use a NoCd Patch.
I actually cheered out loud for that kid making the free throw. You’re a good dude, Rick!
Man that ending made me smile so much. Ya'll are the best I s2g
Rick you have our attention right now!!! Your content is the best on UA-cam right now!!
That's awesome 😊 with Walmart and best buy getting rid of physical media, we need retro gaming stores
Those stores were never good for video games anyways lol
@@CrawlingPanther lol true
What a cool feeling for that kid, going to a store he loves, hanging out with the owner and winning a game.
Good look interacting with the kids. Especially giving that one kid a free game! Great PR!
Thank You Guys For Keeping The Golden Years ALIVE✨️‼️
These Videos Take Me Back

There is a slim chance I would ever find myself in Arkansas, but if I did, it would be to go to this store.
I wish we had stores like yours in the UK. There are a few retro cafe's and a retro pub which has a ton of old arcade games dotted around but no real stores that have that kind of fun atmosphere.
What great energy, customer interactions and of course ...store!! Wish I was closer...so it's now on my travel destination for some day!!
I love video games retro or new releases and i watch tons of UA-cam videos about them. Taking $50 and showing us what games we could buy with it is brilliant. That's my favorite part of the channel. Thanks retro Rick
My favorite thing about your videos is hearing the banging tunes in the background! To work in a shop like this would be amazing.
I'm glad you added this channel thanks it's much appreciated bc it has to be a lot of extra work
As soon as I see a new VT from Rick I am on it!! In the UK we just don't have stores like this anymore. I so want to visit Rick and team, it's on my bucket list of things to do.
I enjoyed the $50 NES collection selections part of the video. I would like to see this done for other sections.
@Rick I'm from Abu Dhabi. You have so many Global fans don't be surprised to see us come visit you 💯
I kinda wish there was a little more time spent with the customers in this video. Especially those that travel from different countries to visit you guys. I feel there was a missed opportunity here to share/discuss more about their interests and culture and how they differ from ours. Cheers 👍
You want personal stories from across the world go watch a food documentary.
We ain’t here for that

Not everyone is comfortable talking to a camera.
@@JC-xq2qeYeah, that's a good point.

someone might concuss their head on that staircase bending down and reaching back up
Iceland?! Everything I know about Iceland is from Eurovision on Netflix.
It looks like you need a couple of storage rooms.
You need a world map to pin where all these visitors are coming from! Like, Iceland? So cool!
You probably made that kids whole MONTH lol 😂 love the energy Rick! Also I love seeing Michael in your videos, he’s great! 😎😁
Look at that bad electrical under the counter
good call on the blaster master, spent many hours and months on that one
That’s awesome! Definitely a far place to travel from!

1942 is such a cool game on NES !
Again, it's too bad that I'm not closer because a lot of the connections you're looking for I have extras of.

Diddy Kong Racing 64 soundtrack was underrated
UGreen is great. I use their Steam Deck dock and usb-c extender.
Love your videos and the content but what I love more then that is they fact that you are representing the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with the NLC jacket
Greetings Iceland 🇮🇸 😀 🙋♂️

More retro game stores need a big box PC game section.
I visited your store the 29th of December very nice place. How do I get tickets for your convention?

There’s a web version of the app!
I've got a N64 Worms Armageddon cart if you're looking for that, Retro.

10$ for the scary head thing!
The fact that rick gave that kid a 3rd try is why his store will succeed. I want to support his store. Does he sell his games online?
Never stop playing
