LOCATION: NB I-805 under the Adams St OC
CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:
There was a 2 car accident for unknown reasons at this time.
One vehicle was demolished in the crash. The male driver of that vehicle had to be cut out and has major injuries. The other driver was on their way to a hospital for emergency surgery at a hospital, but not injured in the crash. Both men were transported to local hospitals. The major injury male was taken to Mercy. Traffic was brought down to 2 lanes during this incident
Am I the only one obsessed with watching these videos? I just feel like they're so fascinating
I'm obsessed also.
Has made me a better driver.
I am too
ibe been on the channel most of the day
Same, they should show more of the bloody Gore, and make every DUI or wreckless driver watch these videos in hopes that it makes them slow down and drive safe! Better yet the DMV should make everyone applying for license watch them too. It might would save lives. I don't mean to be disrespectful to the deceased in these videos when I say show more of the reality of the crashes, but no one will learn a thing if all that is shown is police cars and fire trucks. I get so angry when the police make the cameraman move behind the caution tape. And especially when the cops shine their flashlights in cameraman's view, is very rude!
Goodness me, I’m too obsessed with watching all videos related to rescue. I’m so careful to driving a car
Dang... that looks painful. I wish all involved well and a speedy recovery. Thank you CHP, SDFD and EMTS, you are awesome.
Respect for all the emergency teams -they do a terrific job! Thank you all!
Gotta love the one guy in white tee-shirt and blue shirt describing to the CHP motor officer how the crash happened--you'd think he was describing a plane crash. Cue to 3m:06s. Wishing the driver of the Civic a full and speedy recovery. The rescue rig that arrived was San Diego Fire-Rescue's USAR-2 (Urban Search & Rescue). The truck (ladder fire truck) there has the rescue equipment they were using prior to arrival of USAR-2. They are all very good at what they do.
Omg i thought that was a woman dancing hoping the cop wouldn’t put her in jail🤭
my brother is a firefighter, cudos to the firefighters real heroes!
What the heck is wrong with these people who don't and won't yield to emergency vehicles?????What if it were your family member in that ambulance? You'd probably sue the city. Geez!!
Janet Huffman It is called SELFISHNESS. Drivers (& travellers)show NO respect for anything or anyone. No respect for Funeral corteges either breaking in to the line of vehicles. Especially with being a witness to anything. Yes when it is some friends or family members then it is totally different.
@@terririckert7069 We live in a time where it's all about "ME". Pathetic
Most seem to be Mexicans that can't speak English or understand our highway systems but get free healthcare and driver licenses from a cereal box. Thank Democrats for this.
@@DimitriosChannel Generalisations are NOT FACTS.
That is like saying most Dimitrios are Latino sexual perverts with NO respect for anyone. I hope that this statement is not true in your case anymore true than your ASSUMPTION.
@@DimitriosChannel Thank Democrats for this? First, you wrongly make generalized assumptions about an entire culture and then you politicize this horrible accident just so you can AGAIN make generalized assumptions about half or more of all Americans that are incorrect. Because you clearly are ignorant about proven facts.
Stay at home until you can legitimately come out and play with the big boys.
There is nothing left of that car I’m shocked he’s alive
It's amazing how the firefighters work, they have a golden hour to extricate them and get them to the hospital..
These freeways are just an absolute mess. Driving should be fairly easy, however everyone's in such a damn hurry out here, or distracted or falling asleep or drunk etc. It's always something. In this case, an older Civic like that, the man is lucky he survived & that there was no fire.
Yeah that looks to be like a 95 civic and that man should be thanking God every moment that he made it out in one piece
This is what a REAL HERO looks like!!!
Complicated extrications like these are the reasons why training and communication are so important. Good job SDFD.
Definitely got to give much love to the First Responders☆
Yes definitely!! My husband said that Hospice ladies were angels , and I say all of these responders are huge Angels!
I respect and and am thankful that we have them all❣️
Honda certainly won’t be using that Civic for impact safety commercials. The maker of the pink cell phone; well that’s a different story. Glad to see the driver lived through that accident!
Jim Carrell. But was he touching his cell ph seconds before the crash. It is ILLEGAL to even touch (let alone hold) a cell phone if the vehicle engine is going (vehicle NOT moving) But do those people really care?
Commenting to support channel.
Right up in the action! Hope they both survive and don;t have permanent injuries. Thanks for the vid!
Yet still on the phone.
At 6:35, Ambulance pulls out to re-enter traffic with his lights on but not siren. He (or she?)had to stop because Big-Truck Dumbfruck Carhauler didn't yield right of way by stopping! Fireman had to step out and stop traffic. Great job by SDFD(Especially Urban Rescue with the biggest tools, lol) & CHP. Thanks for vid.
My bad. Urban Search and Rescue!
Rick, I was thinking the same thing. People think they're more important and need to get where they're going so they're going to make the guy going to the hospital wait. Selfishness and entitlement, it's only getting worse.
They don’t turn their sirens in till they get a little away from the scene.
Can't blame car hauler, car behind him did the same and they can't stop quickly. Wasn't emergency or would have had sirens on.
My Beautiful San Diego Heroes in action.🙏✝️❤️✌🏽☮️😉🌈🌞🍀💐
Those Civics are getting more rare by the day... Keep a look out for parts at Pick Your Part . Good thing he made it out alive. Honda 👍 and the Jaws of Life
The guy who was in the car that was totaled is lucky to be alive by how the car looks like
How far was this from Aug 2018 Fatal (same Hwy) ?
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God bless the first responders. Prayers for man in car.
Dougie fresh back at it again with that high koala-ty!
Good video job.
Ouch poor guy.
How lucky we are as a nation to have professional fire & rescue men and women show up at a moments notice with state of the art equipt to do their best to save our lives should the need arise.
That guy is damn effing lucky!!!
He's gonna get so razzed by his house for the interview 😹
Wow nice job
Do you ever drive past an accident and say to yourself "WTF were you thinking?" I especially do when I see stuff like this, or when a car is flipped over or facing the wrong direction. By the way, I drive the 805 everyday and it's a traffic headache.
Yeah - me too, especially when there is only one car involved.
ITS HAS TO BE SAN DIEGO HIGH WAY.........
Firefighters have to know so much.
They have to have someone stop them to let the ambulance out? Unbelievable they can't imagine being the patient inside..
Thats what I noticed! They wouldve just kept on going I bet if no one stopped traffic. Heartless assholes.
Must be different laws in different states, I am part of a firehouse and ur not aloud to be any near that close to a crash let alone filming a crash like in my area!
Hope it wasn't road rage.
That motorcycle cop was on bad shape...damn lls! Nevertheless I'm glad this bruvah lived tho!
Nice firewoman.
and the police and emt's too!
Ok big guy.
We're gonna have to cut your legs using this jagged, rusty saw.
Are you ready?
at 2:33 is that a hand coming out the back seat?
Telsie Hyde when I go to the time stamp I can’t see a hand! Like a severed hand?
What the he-l is taking so long. I drove to work for years on this highway and never had an accident but saw plenty.
Good ole Diversity doing it's thing.
Big boy toys. Love it.
doesn't anyone put the damn phone down anymore!
even while being extracted from a car!
Dennis Carter yeah if I were in his shoes and able to make a call out to my loved ones while trapped and terrified I’d of been on my phone too to hear that one comforting voice I’d need in that situation so quit judging trust me in that situation you’d do the same!
first
Theo Dove Nope🤣 I do that all the time.
Carrie Morgan you’re a cutie. Whats your instagram?
Congrats here's your award🏆💩
@@Kosmic805 yee haw
@@Kosmic805 thx
Wow wtf! Was that bald dude @1:40 who was being extricated , REALLY on his friggin cellphone as they were workin hard to pull him out and save his life!!! Smfh.
Jamie Hoover yeah likely terrified and contacting his loved ones while he was alert and able! Take a second to look at the situation if it were me I’d think damn my cars fucked I’m in crazy pain shit like this kills people due to internal injuries found later im able to call my husband or child now I’m fucking doing it! Everyone’s so judgmental it’s sickening
