The British made a very good improvement with their better gun. I don't have any British Sherman's, but I do have a couple of Grant's and a crusade. Did you e er notice how American war movies never really give the British their rightful dues?
@@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie1092 As a Brit I do think we are either completely ignored or portrayed as utterly stupid. I bet many American tank crews were grateful for the British 17-pounder high-velocity anti-tank guns. They could rip a Tiger tank apart without any problem.
Too many movies downplay the British. They depict them as stubborn, arrogant and foolish. I dont like it that they do that. They do it so much it is boring. I also cant stand how they always portray the Gernans as evil. The Americans had their share of stupid and evil too!
@johnf3885 Hey, I'm British too. Sometimes the American films portray us as weak or insufficient in war, when we have a military record of that of Ancient Rome or better. Even America feered the British empire at some point. That doesn't make me hate America though, those guys rock. I have deep respect for BOTH America and the British armies.
That rope around the bulls waist is called a flank strap. It does not touch the bulls balls. It’s purpose is the apply pressure to make the bull buck. It does not hurt the bull in any way. The area the bull is staged in is called the Shute . When the gate opens the bull will jump out and hopefully get it on right there in the Shute.
@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie1092 I do, most my storage is full of army men. I recently bought some Kellogg's games off Ebay. Unfortunately my dad threw away a bunch of cool stuff when I left home!!!!
Nice set ....what would be your one display case if you had a 6ft by 6ft case what would you fill it with ,if that was the only figures and sets you could have ? not an easy question
Cool figures
Great conversation

Something is reminding of PONDEROUSA Stake House! Depending on which one you went to,you will eat some thing Tasty,or some thing Grizzly!

Thanks Carl. I hope everyone gets a chance to read your comment
I got an old bucket O soldiers from a market from the Disney film toy story. I also got some figurines from an antique shop for £5 instead of £6 each.
Ronald, where can you keep it all? You must have a lot of soldiers by now!
