@steelcurtain2576 life seemed so less complicated back then. Kids don't really want to play like that now and parents wouldn't let them have Cowboys and indian today. A true pity.
@donaldahern9930 MY next door neighbor had that set (and everything else too!) I re.e.ber kids having either set depending on where their mom shopped. I never got it which is probably why I obsess over it now.
You don't love me! Yeay!!! I can't stop laughing! I think your company commander, left you with a self esteem complex! Every time you say Fort Apache, I feel I have to add, The Bronx! Great movie with Paul Newman!
@MACEWINDULastJedi I survived! I never compromised who I am to try and fit in. That makes me stronger than they think. I do have low self-esteem, so I am a complex combination of confidence and self doubt.
THE MOLDS OF THESE FIGURES MUST BE OVERSEA,AS I GOT FEW OF THEM IN DIFFERENT COLOR.THEY CAME IN A MIX BAG OF COWBOYS AND INDIANS FROM K-MART BACK IN THE 90S.I SEEN TIMMEE.MARX,AND MANY OTHER FIGURES REPRODUCED OVERSEAS SINCE THE MID-60S.TAKE CARE
Where do you put everything? You have a gigantic collection! I remember getting a plastic bag of these in 1990 (?) From Stone Castle Imports. I don't think they are around anymore either I miss the days when we could satisfy all of our hobby interests. Do you do garage sales? I only got lucky once, but I keep going and hoping!

@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie1092 I'll be honest, one of my favourite colours is pink!!!! I even have pink army men and tanks. I also quite like red and yellow, yellow being my favourite. Blue is my 4th favourite colour. Did you kno2 in ancient time purple die was more valuable then gold? Even in Japan the purple die came from a rare plant root.
In ancient Rome, only the Emperor could wear purple. In the 1980s, I wore a pink shirt with a skinny black tie and pink socks. All the girls loved it, but the guys really were disturbed by that. In America, pink is associated with little girls or men who are attracted to men. I sm neither of those categories, so I thought it was funny. I also thought I looked sharp! It was the 80's, so fashion was more fun
@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie1092 He he, that's quite a story. To me pink is just another colour and got nothing to do with sexuallity. I don't tend to wear much pink. I tend to dress more like Tom Cruise, I may prefer men but I'm not that type of man. I believe men should be men, no matter who they fall in love with. My first boyfriend is, or was a soldier who hase served in Afghanistan. Simply preferred men doesn't automatically make you a sissy. I've know plenty of tough hard core queen's in my life. I can't stand those who have to adhear to a striotype and pander to the way people think we should act by general society. I'm a man and I should act like one, I prefer a cheese burger over a, well I can't think of a food for wimps. I'm one of the boys.
Yeh Iggy! Please Colonel Custer I don’t wanna go!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 1964?!🤔I just bought for about a dollar in a thrift store Apache Rifles dvd movie made that year starring war hero Audie Murphy! Wow! Audie is a US cavalry captain fighting Indians for the USA🇺🇸 These figures fit right in the theme. Now off to buy some Indian figures. And some how build a fort! By the way Audie Murphy died in a plane crash in 1971.
As ever....good to hear you, 'yeaaaaaah'❤

1964 was the year Sears came out with a Fort Apache set that was the holy grail of Fort Apache sets.Had everything you can imagine.

I'm afraid your analysis is too accurate for comfort! Lol! I was the kid who was beaten up, chased, made fun of, etc.

@carausiuscaesar5672 Many battles are fought over a finger pointing things out in that manner.
They look almost metallic.
@ronaldmcdonald8303 MY favorite is baby blue followed by aqua, but steel blue is okay.

@carausiuscaesar5672 .Murphy looked like a wholesome little boy, and he was a badass killer!
Those are nice, they are sharp looking. But something tells me they will meet with an unfortunate fate. It's just my feeling.
@paulbervid1610 sometimes we have to listen to the little voice in our heads.
