The longer I watched this video the more it felt like Pheak got half his XP from a wave he quickly cleared on bot stolen by his Nami Support while the enemy got a free baron.
I'm a gold top laner and this is helping me so much. I feel like my mid-late game macro has always been extremely focused on split pushing or grouping, and not exactly a balance in between. I'll think about the ideas mentioned in this video from now on. Thanks for the hard work Phreak.

Would love to hear your thought on redesigning the jungle so that supports need to help the jungler out to clear and how it could be tuned to give a lot more power to supports.

* Gold+XP is always useful up til the 6-item/18-level cap * Early Gold/Levels > Late Gold/Levels * Gaining XP is arguably just as valuable as gaining Gold * XP and Gold income increase over time * +25% XP for sharing minion waves, slightly devalued by the secondary champ being less relevant makes splitting for the sake of splitting rarely a good play * The opportunity cost for catching distant minion waves can be very high, offset by the size of the wave(s) * Huge amount of durability gained from levels by all champs, does not require items With these concepts in mind, we can address some "big picture" questions. - Is it worth it to catch a single sidelane wave? Depends on the game state; ideally you catch several at a time quickly without risking major objectives (baron, elder, turrets) - Should a support actively soak XP? Probably not unless they're searching for a level spike or otherwise contributing meaningfully. - When exactly should we de-prioritize XP? Somewhere after level 11~ when major objectives are spawning and a single death is much more gamebreaking. Great presentation, Phreak! Obviously it's very hard to nail down exact answers due to the variety, but this is a great framework for several high-level questions.
I am quite the veteran atm stuck in low plat. And I must say I did not know that at after the 25 min mark it’s much more punishing for me as a tank to leave to with my teleport down bot. I should always farm unless it’s for an objective

with the conversation you had over skill levels, how do champions (either in your opinion or by statistics you have) do champions like caitlyn and karma who put 3 ranks in q then max a different ability, karma elise and jayce who get their 'ult' transform/empower at level 1 and either dont get additional points in ult or just upgrade an already aquired ability or Udyr effect the conversation?
Quite off topic, but I'm rather curious about the concept of a ranged-attack tank (That doesn't use abilities, such as Mundo, to farm). Would it be inherently broken, could it work?
