Isn't it interesting how certain notes just automatically convey certain feelings and moods? Robert Plant's voice and lyrics only add to that. I never realized this song was adapted from a previous song by another artist. I didn't know what that meant when I was younger and first heard this song, and those probably were controversial lyrics at the time. The "Cardi B of the 70s," indeed! The guttural sounds that he makes, the moans, and the way they use the instruments to sound sexual -- it's just such an honest song in its own way. It's a testament to unbridled sensuality. Those vocals were all recorded in one take? That makes this song even more impressive, truly "organic and natural," just like you said. Wonderful review of a timeless song! I sometimes feel like there are energies that are timeless, and it's a much deeper conversation, but there are certain things that make me believe that there may be types of reincarnation that occur. PART of the lyric Plant wrote is very similar to the Dixon written lyric. Dixon sued Zeppelin and is now credited with a writing credit on the song. The song was written by Plant, Page, Bonham, JPJones, Dixon. It is 100% a Led Zeppelin song. Not a "cover." Everyone is also correct in saying it is a absolutely "great" song! Enjoy!🎶🎵🎶
(1960's actually.) So, let me guess...We've got some ASMR Psychedelic Rock coming up. Am I right? Yea, I don't think that this one is really gonna cool anybody down here... at all. C'mon, Let's Go...
I don't have time to the watch this now, but I am mildly annoyed by some of the comments. Actual facts matter.😏 Not a "cover" The music is all Zepp. Plant lifted some of the lyric. Happens all the time in blues. Robert was/is often inspired by the blues when he writes lyrics. I write lyrics and have lifted some words Iuliia uses here. Am I a thief? I don't have time to explain all the reasons why calling this a "cover" is absolutely ridiculous. I would though suggest not repeating it publicly because actual musicians will perceive you as a ignorant fool. Also, it's been said here in the comments that Robert and Jimmy "hate each other." Again, not fact. Robert and Jimmy are close friends. Have worked together several times since the end of Zeppelin in 1980. Jimmy and Robert did/do have differing opinions on Zeppelin reunions. Doing a full tour as Led Zeppelin was/is something that Robert would never do. Jimmy would have. I am with Robert on this. Without Bonzo it is not Led Zeppelin. I know I may come off as a "know it all" at times. My apologies. Music is my life, and it actually hurts me when false narratives about what I love so dearly are put out there. I would be the same way if someone posted falsehoods about any of you. I have played drums and bass since I was 10 years old. Never worked a 9 to 5 job in my life. Music is a part of every aspect of my life. Without music I promise you I would not be here. One, because I would have starved to death. I have been in the game for nearly 40 years now and with that comes a lot of knowledge. I lived and live this stuff. I am not trying to correct anyone, or being a "know it all" when I interject my factual knowledge on these things. It is just a part of me. When a part of your soul is misrepresented..you will speak up. Hey, it's National Pumpkin Day! I am going to carve my pumpkins on Friday. @@IYOU Yes wayyyy. I had heard Led Zeppelin first time in April 1969 and then this was released maybe August that same year. Saw them live on stage 4 times, in England. I'm very old ha ha haaaaa.
It's crazy how much Page & Plant hate each other. I heard they were offered a billion dollars to get the band back together and they said no. Also I had no idea this was a cover, thanks Yu I learned something new.
I don't think they hate each other, not now anyway. It's not about the money. Plant does not want to revisit the past. He wants to move on and of course he knows he doesn't have the voice to sing those songs the same way now. He doesn't want to do a second rate performance or sound like a tribute band, and the band members are getting on in years now. Plant does not want to do long foreign tours of the hyped up LZ kind. There's a video of an interview he did during his solo career where he says he got to watch Jimmy Page in 'The Firm' and how great Jimmy was and how proud he was of Jimmy whom he described as someone he loved.
They are rich af already they don't need the money. And besides plant doesn't wanna go back and revisit all that stuff, through zeppelin he lost his son and his best friend so that's probably a big part of why Pant said no.
The mighty Zeppelin with Robert Plant(vocals),Jimmy Page(guitar),John Paul Jones(bass) and ofcourse the powerhouse drummer that was John Bonham ruled the 70"s. Peter Grant was a ruthless manager for them making sure the band never got f#*!ed over. Promoters used to give artists 10%, of the gate (ticket sales)and they took 90%. He reversed that to where band got 90 and promoter got 10.Anyway Zeppelin is one of the greatest rock bands to ever play. Sad that after John Bonham died that was the end of the band. He was irreplaceable.Robert Plant went on to have a very successful solo career and even won Grammys with Alison Krauss. He was in a band called the "Honeydrippers" in early 80's but don't remember it doing very well commercially. They could technically have a "reunion" with John Bonham jr. on drums and did a few shows but they don't seem to want to. Even though Jimmy Page played with the Black Crowes for a while doing Zep songs but they said they were tired of being in a Zeppelin cover band so Jimmy flew back home to England. Zeppelin was my fave band until I got into AC/DC especially "Let There Be Rock". Great review of timeless band. I saw the group Bonham at club but wasn't impressed were trying too hard to capture Zeppelin's sound.☮🎶🤟💎

They are not hating each other. Where did you get that information from ?
Hogwash , they don't hate each other at all , you're just making 5hit up .
They are rich af already they don't need the money. And besides plant doesn't wanna go back and revisit all that stuff, through zeppelin he lost his son and his best friend so that's probably a big part of why Pant said no.
PLEASE DO NOT COMPARE THE GOATS TO CARDI B🤨 I am 69, and I still listen to the GOATS.
Please, turn on your Sense of humor. Age should not affect this great ability! ☮️
