My mate Battaash had a brain snap.
He's obviously got "issues" but I think when he's on song he'd push just about anything over 5f.
Not sure I'd put my money on him though.

I actually am not convinced she ever recaptured that 3yo form.
She was still excellent, top class and brave but I'm not sure she was ever as good as she was at 3.
@@elgransenor1472 Battaash might knock them over in Europe but not much chance he'd be knocking anything over in Australia if he's being beaten regularly over there. Can you consider backing Ten Sovereigns ? Coolmore have been outspoken about the opinion they have of him. I can't see him being fast enough for Santa Ana Lane (big bet) or Pierata, Sunlight, Classique Legend.....

WOW- - How privileged we are.......to have been graced by this fantastic mare 5 racing seasons now - She, John, and Frankie are indeed the perfect blend that has resulted in one of the most fabulous ever in racing. Praying for nothing but a safe Arc, tho the Win will certainly be divinity on the legacy and monumental memories she leaves with us all. Though I have many druthers on varied tracks in different countries, Enable, and the awesome Stradivarius,are my absolute favorites! So enjoying all the recent videos-out this mesmerizing lady & Queen Supreme! 🐎🐎🐎

@@comesahorseman do you not realise they become breeding machines, where the foals are taken away from their mothers at 6 months. Then when some mares can no longer produce they are PUT DOWN. She'd be better off racing.
@@barbaradyson6951 Barbara: I grew up around racing Standardbreds and I have a bachelor's in Light Horse Management. I know the racing industry. To your points:
Foals are routinely weaned at 6 to 8 months to allow separate feeding and to allow the mares to "dry up" and gain back weight after lactation. The weanlings education and handling can start then as well.
Mares that can no longer produce foals are typically fostered to private owners as a pensioner. They may be pensioned at the breeding farm as well. They are not automatically put down.
Horses kept in racing for years typically will develop repetitive motion injuries that can become significant arthritis. Additionally, they can develop more serious injuries or breakdowns. This is/was my reason for saying Enable should retire sooner rather than later...quit while you're ahead. As a horse handler the safety and long term health of the horse is my first consideration.

I was surprised.
Although she's hardly over raced. She only ran seven times in the past two years and only five of those were hard races.
But you'd have to think we're due for one or two good 3yo colts next season.
It'll be tough for her.
Horses like Triptych kept winning Griup Ones at 6.
@@elgransenor1472 true, her people have been pretty careful with her, I give them credit, and they seem to have good judgement.
Thing is, I'm a vet tech by trade; I've done lameness rehab work on track horses that came back for "one more year" or "just a few more starts." It's discouraging, because they are never quite the same. So, I'm a big fan of quitting with them when they are still sound and still enjoying the work. That's just how I roll. (End of sermon.). :)

Totally different horses, totally different circumstances, totally different careers.
I'm critical of how Winxs connections managed her career but how do you line up two great horses and declare one better than the other?
Winx never came to England or France. Enable beat the best in Europe, best in England and best in US. Winx didn't! There's no comparison.

She is a good horse no argument from me. She never beat the best in the USA. She beat Magical !! The best in the USA run in the Breeders Cup Classic not the Breeders Cup Turf. Roaring Lion ran in the Classic and was thrashed. Know what you are talking about before posting next time
