I love how hot wheels made the exhaust pipes (headers) look like they’ve been exposed to extreme heat by painting them blue and purple. Just like they would look like in real life. Nice touch!!
I really like the casting too! Actually I prefare the first release in gold. The rims in gold are a great match and the yellow-beige firewall is an awesome idea. But of course the red one is great model. :)
Sweet. I love that red one. I sold my gold one, not crazy about the tires ... too fat and too slick in the front for my liking. But ohhhhh that red one. Beautiful. And I'm ashamed to admit it that I had no idea that the doors opened, lol. Thanks. I just got the red one and haven't really checked it out yet. Have a great day man.
@@mtldiecastcafe just a preference thing. I do think it''s cool looking the way it is ... but that red one ... badass. thanks for taking the time to comment.
Excellent video MDC! Side note, but when I saw you struggling with the doors I remember older Majorette die casts from the '80s (made in France) with opening parts and suspension not having issues like this. Makes you wonder how 40 years later manufacturers still have issues with opening parts. Granted that there are improvements in other areas but still...
My Bad! I was referring to the '32 Ford. I didn't realize that the original RLC was a flat head V8. The 2 centered exhaust tubes share the exhaust manifolds center exhaust ports, ergo only 6 total pipes show and not 8. Both version look great but my preference is the spectraflame red.
Such a beautiful car one of my favorite castings from hot wheels .

The base on the gold is nice too it matches the body

The front tires are just perfect

Still waiting for mine. Nice showcase.
Mine came in the mail Monday. Totally impressed by everything, but the kinda crappy interior. Well worth adding to my collection
Hot. Wheels. RLC. Opening

I agree but the doors on this model are very small
@@mtldiecastcafe oh yes definitely, as before excellent video from you!
the original appears to be a flat head 6 --- new version is a V8
The power wagon?? And if so how do you know?
