Everything you touch just turns to gold. I can tell even from this video that you will revive the truck racing community. You barely even get into something with a motor in it and make it worth watching again. Drag racing, jet boating, drifting, dirt track racing, oval racing, pit bikes in the backyard, etc. This sounds like hyperbole, but Cleetus McFarland is the best thing that's happened to motorsports in a LONG time. We're watching a legend in the making as it's being filmed.

You know. Thinking about it, Vaughn has that mustang that's just sitting there that he traveled the world with. I know him and cleet were talking about making a pro drift car. But imagine if Vaughn turned that thing into a drag racing monster🤔🤔
I see it as a kingpin origins story playing out before our eyes. I think he is purposely targeting UA-camrs that have talent and are having enormous success in motor sports and media. At the same time, he’s got nothing to prove - he’s already done that and won!
Anyone else find themselves cheering for Cleeter when he overtook Vaugn and started gapping him? That's natural talent there, getting behind the wheel in any motorsport he's tried so far and been competitive with the pros with minimal instruction.

Robby has so much more to his own work, but cleetus making moves! Especially in the LS world with Motion.
Trust me these legacy performance shops like his are fiending for people like Cleet to come onboard. They want these eyeballs but don't know how to get them.

@@williamstamper442 yeah it makes sense from a business standpoint. Motion already makes money, its profitable. So the next step is mass marketing. Throw you name on a bunch of cars at all types of events and see what you get back. Even if he gives Robby parts for cost and just wants the sticker on trucks is huge. I can see Motion developing parts only for Robby's trucks and then Robby stocking and selling. Similar to SXS Blog. If after a year or however long it doesnt pan out and the money isn't there you just stop doing it. As long as you don't extend past the profit point you can come out ahead.
This is why Cleetus is great lol has no problem throwing the name out there.
Cleetus is making the motorsports tour of a lifetime this year! So far we've got 6s in Drag Racing, SXS racing, 4 banger pavement circle track, Hobby stocks on dirt, Late Models on dirt, and now Stadium Super Trucks. And Klutch Kickers coming up. This dude is living the dream and I am here for it!!
Now we need Mr Force to step up and get Cleatus in a top fuel car

I have been watching since day 1 and I would have never guessed where you would have brought this channel! So proud of a guy my age being able to accomplish so much for the racing world through UA-cam videos.
It’s incredible how far Garrett has gone in the car industry. Very inspirational for all of us who have been following him since he started doing 1320 Videos. He has proven to all car enthusiasts with a dream that with the right mindset and hard work it is possible to be successful. You have to make a movie about it
It's didn't hurt getting started with 1320. That instantly gave him access to a very large audience. He's definitely put in work though
@@ls_812 yeah definitely helps to know people, but the progress he has made is crazy, I remember thinking who is this corvette douche that doesn't even work on his cars, I only started watching when there was no new roadkill episodes a few years ago, no one can debate he is a hell of a driver, kind of like Travis Pastrana, bet he could be competitive in almost all motorsports, now cleet needs a rockcrawler and ultra 4 car for king of the hammers.

What would also help this and other sports is bringing the experience to a view on demand platform like UA-cam, the younger generation doesn't watch TV and isn't willing to pay the ridiculous prices cable and satellite charge, also the behind the scene coverage also benefits events.

This is one of the things I love most about him, and I don't know why. I love everything he does, but somehow, even a boring content like paving a track or fixing up the concessions area and so on, are ridiculously interesting and cool. I wish we'd get a little more of it.

@@fivespeed42 Yeah saw them at Lake Elsinore inside a small baseball stadium. Plenty of space at the FF for a good race, especially if they jumped out to a dirt section, then back into the main oval and infield.

I think it had more to do with how he set up Cleet's truck. It was almost like he was afraid Cleet wouldn't fit, and I bet they alter the truck a bit, before the race to make it a bit more comfortable.

We can all do these things to a good extent, besides maybe flying. Even a cheap Cessna 152 isn't something the average American can drop money on, and flying lessons.

Robby Gordon is the man in the super stadium truck series for sure, dude is one of the cleanest, smoothest racers in the sport in my opinion.
So far Cleetus has taken on so many different types of racing and excelled at all of them! The only exception was the Jet Car. Living the dream, keep it up!
Finally you get in the seat of a stadium super truck. Next up should be full blown trophy truck. Freedom 500 in the desert

When I was 12, my parents finally got cable for the first time,(like 1997) and my dad got me out of bed at 10 at night to watch 15 minutes of the corr offroad series. It was the first time I ever saw anything like that. I had a reoccurring dream blasting thru the desert at over 100. Coolest motorsport ever.

I think James just eats and breathes working on race cars and George has the camera personality. Hopefully.

He’d rather be working on the fleet for the next race week than being on camera doing this stuff. It’s fun yea; but for James fun is being elbow deep in a race car making it better.
