The fact that Cleetus was told to go harder on throttle goes to show just how insane pro drivers are like the speeds at which they drift is just on such a ridiculous level
Also shows how knowledgeable they are about the science of it all, just by watching how the car behaves and listening to that sweet engine note is how they fine tune it 👌

The most mind blowing fact I’m extracting from this video is the commitment you need to drive those cars at the edge. Not everybody has the gut to do it successfully
Some of these cars are going 100-140 mph around a turn and any wrong oversteer can result in a spin out, a roll, or hitting something.
I always like Vaughn explaining how the sausage is made type stuff.

This really goes to show how challenging it is to drive a pro-comp car compared to a bolt on-street car. while comp cars are setup to be easy for the driver to drive, the amount of grip is what makes them unforgivable. Practicing on my I sim, the first thing i noticed when i started practicing with comp style cars, was how much commitment and throttle was needed. not to forget, you still need to drive with accuracy and be able to make adjustments to get the car where you need it.
Yup, and people want to poop on LZ for the season he's been having. Like bro, his S15 to a RTR mustang is night and day. 1100 HP with grip for days.
Something I never thought I would hear about Cleetus driving “you got too little throttle, now go out get the car set and floor it and the car will go.”

Cleetus is a prime example of driving through your fears. You can see that he's sketched out and he just gets on it harder.
At this level the car needs to be set up to each individual driver. What is right for Cleetus is going to be what is right for Vaughn or Chelsea. This was really cool to be able to see how they dial in the car for each driver.
A natural coach and leader, feel like I can get in that car and whip it off your words alone!

You are a great teacher my man. Calm cool and collected gets the desired results. I'm a competitive Long Range Shooter and Gunsmith and having the best equipment possible is a huge key to success. I always take an extra rifle to shoots to let someone borrow to show how much a properly setup rifle and optics can improve your game when i see someone struggling. I sell alot of custom rifles that way and it's way cheaper in the long run to just "buy once and cry once". Now Cleet has a top of the line ride and it will make him grow better as a driver with no equipment limitations and the suspension can be tuned to his ability as he gets better and better it's basically a one and done car. Thanks to you and Chelsea for sharing the secret sauce with the Cleet. You always put a good quality video Sir. RTR Jet Boat "you bet"!. The whole time I watched Cleet race the boat I was thinking "Vaughn should be sitting next to him or vise versa" because the chemestry between you guys is so good. Or maybe Cleet and Spence and a second boat with You and Chelsea that would be good watching.
You guys have got to be the coolest most down time earth people. Y’all so lucky to have found each other.

@@LFCEVO24 Adam isn't doing well because he barely drives his mustang chassis drift car then goes home and rips in his jdm and european cars. I know formula drift is the highest level of competition but Its obvious by him winning clutch kickers in his e30 and how good he drives it he is mutch more comfortable in it because those smaller jdm/eur cars is what he has driven since he could drive.. and just like cleet had the rude awakening at the last clutch kickers you cant just jump in a car you barely have seat time in and expect to do good. maybe its just nerves for Lz but I think its mostly the car.
am i the only one who wants to see vaughn do a 200+ mph pass in mullet... i mean hes bringing cleeter into his world... maybe he could take stroll down cleeters lane

You guys need helmet 2 way communication systems. There are a few good ones on the market but, being that your using many frequencies in many different areas, I suggest contacting the company you choose directly to see if they are a true fit for your needs.
