Great footage thanks. What year is this canter? is the build documented anywhere? Surprisingly little flex in the frame. Would love to study this one a bit as I'm building one atm.
Hi mate, it's a 2007 FG649 Canter, there's no more videos on youtube but the whole build is on instagram plus plenty of other 4wd canter videos. @insta_canter also check out the flex in minute 0:44 I would say it's not bad!
We need to stop those wankers closing everything. I’m a dirt bike rider and I almost never see walkers or horse riders enjoying these places that only they are legally allowed to.
That is really cool.. good to see it has a winch if necessary.. thanks from across the ditch 👍🇳🇿
Awesome video guys cant wait to see more
Very well driven indeed. Methinks you know your truck and what it can do.
Just found your channel. Subb'd instantly. Great rig and amazing driving skills. Thank you.
Thanks mate!
Me too, just stumbled upon this checking land cruisers, really digging this canter 4x4, very capable vehicle, nice driving man👊🏾😎
The truck crawls like there's nothing! Very cook truck!
Terrific driving.
Keen to see inside the rig
Nice truck mate
Front locker?
Awesome Brother,
Thanks for the great video. Does it have lockers or any other associated systems(traction control etc.)?
Thanks mate, no traction control or any other system, no lockers either at the time of this video only rear factory lsd
Makes me want to hit the road again!

Hey mate, how is it on fuel?
About 19lph on the road. About 22lph loaded for a trip and and doing a fair bit of 4wd
Hi, are the suspensions original or modified?
Modified, SSA leaf package upgrade + teflon leafs, 4inch lift
Well done, but I bet you went back up the detour track like we did, #FlickrSpelio
I sure did 😂
Tires sure do rub your steps a lot....37” tires? No fix for that?
yeh easy fix really I just haven't been bothed to do it. The front mudguards are easy to push back
🥰🥰🥰
track is now closed, national parks are turning it into a walking track

Those crackling noise 🙄
You could build an absolutely sick tourer with one of these. How do they tow? I need to have a jam in one.
Never towed anything heavy with it to be honest, but that's why most people buy them so they must do pretty good
