just picked up this capita spring break powder twin 159, along with rome katana and rome libertine boa boots, all thanks to your review good sir, also grabbed HH chugach one piece, flight deck oakleys, a ninja suit underlayer and some leather gloves, an't remember the brand
keep up the excellent work, thanks for doing all the leg work for us
Nice brosetta stone. Real nice bro 😎
If I didn’t already have a lumberjack I’d get this… that graphic 🥵
That graphic is bomb!!!
Great video as always, what size should I buy ?
5’11
153 lb
Size 10.5
Have you found out from anyone else? I’m about the same height and weight and I’m stuck between the 156 and 159, this video made me think 156 but not sure if that’s enough for float in pow and if I should go up to 159, my current arbor westmark is a 156 so idk
Could you tell me how this is closer to a Ride Warpig vs a Ride Twinpig? Just thinking it might be the Twinpig since they would both be twins. Or is would the pig series in general be a close match? Thanks for your great content!
Because the Twinpig sucks.
When are we going to see a Marhar special edition Angry Lumberjack?
Where have you been there's been two.
Experienced rider looking to find a slightly larger (156) board to compliment my DOA which is a bit smaller. 5’8” 170 size 9 foot. With the slightly wider profile any recommendations? I love Capita boards and looking for something I can be more comfortable in powder while having good feel on groomers.
This isn’t it. You probably just need to ride more honestly.
@@AngrySnowboarder Point being the DOA is fine in powder, but I'm looking to purchase a new board and wanted to look at the SB Powder twin as an option. The waist difference between my 154 DOA and the 156 SB Powder Twin is 1.8 (guessing CM). With size 9 boots will I notice much difference and what's the smallest foot size you'd recommend with the SB.
Yeah you will. It's like driving a Nissan Altima and then driving a Cadillac Eldorado.
Hey Avran, was thinking of refreshing my 2020 Lumberjack with a 2024 model. Then I thought, why not consider Spring Break Powder Twin... just for the different characteristics. How would you compare the Powder Twin with the Lumberjack when it comes to dealing with tracked out, chopped up snow, mashed potatoes and chunder? Less or more damp? I am pretty impressed with how the Lumberjack tracks through varied terrain - powder to hardpack. Average all mountain rider here. Ride regular and switch equal time - powder, carving, some trees and moguls, smaller jumps. Thanks, man.
Regular Lumberjack or is it the X model?
@@AngrySnowboarder
Regular Lumberjack
So this is closer to the X due to the camber profile. Basically more calculated pop due to the camber, it rides like 2 boards instead of one meaning on a groomer it's like a Cadillac but in pow it's more nimble. It's going to be more damp in the tips because it's not rockered.
@@AngrySnowboarder 🙏🏽
This is my daily driver for everything mainly becusse I have a 14 boot I find it easy to get on edge probably because I have a big foot but I truly like this board also paired it with the white union forces (new jawnts)
should I size down?
5'10
150ibs
size 11
but only ride powder
I usually ride 156
Your call.
Those are about my stats (5'9", 155lb, men's size 9) and I've had a lot of fun with the 153. My other boards are the 154 Passport and 156 Veda so I sized down
Hi Avran
What size for 85 kg?
Greetz
Probably want the 59.
Great, my analysis paralysis is even worse now....
You can just pay us to validate whatever you want.
156 not enough board for someone 200lbs?
No
@gregory49
Its flexible and u need a boot size that is going to let u turn it without a lot of effort. I am a 11 and the 159 works great.
All u ppl talking about the graphic lol. OK yea it's sick (mine is from a few years back, the lambo on fire. I own this board and there are not too many like it. Sidecut is perfect for it. It's such a fun and playful board in deep stuff and can actually hold it's own bombin groomers. If u have the right boot size u can take it in tight trees which surprised me. I am an 11 on the 159, weight 220. One of the most underhyped rides. Don't get one, I luv being one of the few w it on the mountain but I see the graphic will make it popular hahahaha.
