Own this in a 160. 215lbs. 6’3. 23 years riding. This board has the most pop of any snowboard I’ve ridden. Spend 3 days so far on her. This season I’ve ridden the assassin pro 159 and the super DOA blows it out the water, at least for my style. The assassin pro felt softer, with a more rocker-ish feel. Most of what Angry said I would agree with, although I’ve probably spent more time on the super doa this season than him. If you want an all - mountain side hit , off and on piste bomber. Get it. If you’re more of a park rider, in my opinion it’s a bit too stiff for rails. This is your big kicker / pop a 5 foot Ollie off a side hit board. I also own the regular DOA in a 160 and it’s now collecting dust. My park board is a 158 huck knife. My every day destroyer is the super doa 160, with that said, I also swap between the Golden Orca 157. These 3 are my quiver. The golden is more fun for trees, huck knife park, and super DOA is the I will destroy everything in sight.

Hi @Angry, can I ask for a 172lbs rider looking at the Korua Otto 153cm or Super DOA 155cm, which would you recommend for more all-mountain versatility (80% Groomers, Trees, pow and side hits, 20% park) if its just between these two boards. As I can get a good deal off of the Super DOA that is the same price as the Otto. Thanks in advance
How much alike is this board compared to the assassin pro, I ride the assassin pro now and have the super doa on ice but am debating on getting rid of it.. which one do you like better?? I’m a park rider that’s slowly turning into a side hit hunter/all mountain guy
Wanting a versatile yet powerful set up for all mountain and considering Midwest icy conditions. Would you recommend the union Atlas, 23/24 Force, or Falcor binding to pair with this board? I know you mentioned the Ultra but if you had to pick from the top three, what do you go with?
Say a few words on what I could expect if I decided to put union Atlas pro bindings on this board. Board size 154. I’m 5’7” 170 lbs. I hear the new force bindings could be a slower than the old with the new bushing system.

I currently have a Nitro T1 and think about to get a Capita DOA next. Whats the main diffrence between those two at the slope and in the park?
Sidecut, flex points, and base finish.
Either will work. I'd go for the Super DOA though the size is better for your weight.
How much alike is this board compared to the assassin pro, I ride the assassin pro now and have the super doa on ice but am debating on getting rid of it.. which one do you like better?? I’m a park rider that’s slowly turning into a side hit hunter/all mountain guy
Pro's softer and more floppy in the tips. Has weaker edge hold.
Wanting a versatile yet powerful set up for all mountain and considering Midwest icy conditions. Would you recommend the union Atlas, 23/24 Force, or Falcor binding to pair with this board? I know you mentioned the Ultra but if you had to pick from the top three, what do you go with?
Force.
Man of few words. I expect nothing less from an angry snowboarder. Thanks guy… helpful channel for the gear heads
Say a few words on what I could expect if I decided to put union Atlas pro bindings on this board. Board size 154. I’m 5’7” 170 lbs. I hear the new force bindings could be a slower than the old with the new bushing system.
@@BonesawzMcGraw A few words.
Well played angry man. Let me rephrase. I humbly request your prophetic description of this unholy marriage btw the SDOA and the AtlasPro
Hey i have (european shoesize) 47 (size 13 US) snowboots and 1.88 =6'2 tall
What snowboard would you recommend that is on the shorter side but still wide enough so neither my toes or heels scrape the snow when turning
Mine now is 167cm long and i'd love to try shorter ones
Edit: camber preferred
Sizing goes by weight and boot, not height
I’d go with the 161w or if you are a lighter guy go 158w. I’m 6’2 220 with a size 12 and ride the 158w. Just got a good deal on it end of the year but wish I got a 161w
@@OHIOSHREDZ would love to try boards that are less than 155 tho :c
@@MHCranbeary look into volume shifted boards ride war pig comes to mind but it's not really camber maybe I know there is something out there it's just not coming to mind.
@@michaelevans6205 thanks
How it compares to Bataleon Goliath +? Is it better for carving?
It's more responsive and lively, engages on edge better as you don't have an elevated contact point like with Bataleons 3Bt.
@@AngrySnowboarder Thanks for reply. And the Super DOA will probably be softer and easier to maneuver than the Merc (or Mega Merc) since it's more freestyle oriented, right? Looking for all mountain board mainly for riding and occasionally park/buttering
Splitting hairs there.
@@AngrySnowboarder Hah, all right. I think I already know which one to choose, thanks.
Ive just bought this, going to val thoren in 2 weeks. Dont do much park work but im a good boader. Anyone got this board and if so what do you think
@Matt Clark How did you find the Super DOA ? What your thoughts on positives and negatives.
@@stivabeltman2900 love it! Had 4 boards and this is by far my favourite. Have to ride it aggressively but its so fast and ridiculously stable on the flats (cat tracks etc) got a great amount of flex in it and was good for standard stuff in the park. would highly recommend it to anyone who is a good/confident boarder.
Hey Yo! Question here from the Netherlands. Which of the following would you recommend: the jones ultra mountain twin or capita super doa for a every day driver. Side hits, olies, carving, jumps(small tot medium) and pow when available. 15 year experience. Coming from a ride machete gt(wich I know you hated). Thanks in advance!
Either.
@@AngrySnowboarder Thanks… I guess in your words; everything is a better step from the gt.
What snowboard do you prefer, Capita Suoer DOA 2023 or Neversummer Proto Synthesis 2023?
The man hates neversummer
You must be new here 😂
Why would I prefer a piece of shit built in a crappy factory to a Capita?
@@AngrySnowboarder I'm sorry. I didn't know it😅
@@KostasC Yes bro😅
5’8 170lbs with 21” stance 11.5 boot what size should I be looking at ?
Probably want the 57w or whatever it is.
What the main differences between the Nitro Team Pro and what your favourite?
Response. The Super DOA is far more responsive and has more snap. The one I’m riding that day.
I’m on the east coast. Will this thing handle the odd pow day here and there?
Can you handle the odd pow day out there? Yes? There you go.
@@AngrySnowboarder thanks cock
I’m looking into getting a board to go fast down mountains groomed or not but also find obstacles on the sides of the tracks to hit jumps and also hit jumps in the park. I’ve been looking at this one. What do u reckon?
Seems like a solid choice for you.
Worthwhile picking this up if you have a mega merc?
No.
What is "kicking out"?
Would you recommend the Mercury or DOA for intermediate rider that does all mountain with side hits but not a ton of park?
Merc or super doa
Mercury.
The specs show it has a longer effective edge than most boards of similar length. Should you downsize on it ?
No.
how does it compare to the huck knife pro
Presses easier in the nose, similar pop, I think this carves better.
What’s the Best all mountain board?
Theres a top five list for that.
Compared to the 23 B.S.O.D?
BSOD is an aggressive all mountain freeride board, Super DOA is an aggressive park board.
How does this compare to this year's BSOD?
Little softer, twin, lighter, more reactive response.
👌
Finally
What I’m getting from this is I should get the normal DOA as my first board and as I progress through next season maybe look into this board?
You won't be able to ride this board for at least a couple of years, stick to the doa
Hey Angry, quick question unrelated to the snowboard. The wall mounts you have to hold the snowboards in the background. Did you make those or did you buy them!? If so any ideas as to where to get some. Thank you and I appreciate any help!
20 bucks worth of lumber, 5 dollars worth of dowels, 4.99 for sedona red stain, and a drill/saw.
where can i find some goose toe for jibbing on this board?
Probably in the village of Moose Knuckle.
Do you feel there is a big difference in feel between the 2021 board and the 2023? I've recently bought the 2021 version being told that it's the newest when the graphics are from the earlier model and I've realized after purchase 😬
Go ride, you're fine.
What happened to my super sticker pack I won on the last live stream… ?
Probably sitting somewhere in the mail.
Ride's marketing would have you believe there's something special about intuition's liners, is there anything to that or is it marketing?
Go use a boot without intuition foam, you'll see.
"so how does this board compare to the orca? all the online reviews talk about this board and the orca. i'm really getting the feeling that as a first year rider I should just get both and then I'll be set. thoughts?"
Ed shred wants a Collab 😐
That would probably mean him snowboarding more than 10 days a year and using other peoples footage.
@@AngrySnowboarder shots fired
@@AngrySnowboarder oof 😅.
He's a con artist. Google search Christian "Ed" Martin and look at his competition results, then look at the companies he's worked with, then ask yourself do you want to work with someone that left snowboarding for 10 years. Dude is on the same level as Buckhouse, Kevin from Snowboard Procamp, Zac Mauser, and all those tools. I don't trust him and I don't think he has snowboarding or snowboarders best interest at heart. Let alone if you look at his Social Blade numbers and see how fast he rose up he's been buying his subscribers.
@@AngrySnowboarder interesting 🧐. Snake oil salesman? 😂 First thing I saw in some forum. Found Buckhouse and Kevin during the pandemic when resorts were shutdown for the year and jonesing for snowboard content. Obviously the algorithm pushed the bigger channels. Keep up the straight talk man , we appreciate it.
😆 at "high end park rider"
I go 12 when warming up... not for me :D
You forgot the decimal point. 1.2.
