This game is a LOT of fun! Really good mixture of strategy and randomness with bizarre units. I hope it runs decent on Switch!
Yeah that’s the only thing I’m not looking forward too, even on pc the game can get pretty laggy
@@hunterstjean119 yeah, but changing your graphics settings to minimals may help a lot. I was able to play quite smoothly even with 6GB RAM, while it’s officially required to have at least 8GB.

I am BEYOND thrilled that this is finally showing up on the Switch; I don't really have any other means of playing it(this old 2013 desktop is in it's twilight time), but have loved to see some of my favorite UA-camrs playing it! :D

This game sure did go far I remember not too long ago maybe three four or even five years ago most characters were just shirtless humans with colour and now we have this glorious masterpiece

I remember when this game was first being made I was a child and kept harassing the devs over email for suggestions I had. Feel super awkward about that now but can’t wait to finally play it

I want to see a stress test on this before purchasing. How many units does it bog down at.
I'd say it's already been tested...; awhile back, I was asking the game's devs on Twitter about the game coming to the Switch, and they said it was indeed being worked on...safe to assume it's being looked at, and I wouldn't rule out the possibility of them putting a limit on how many units can be fielded per-side.

The most amount of units on screen in the clips was somewhere around 27 to 30

Landfall has released more information about TABS look on their twitter. They basically said it'll be out sometime in autumn/fall and that some parts of the game has been removed or limited in order for it to run on the switch.

but I'm a little disappointed that it didn't read also got the hero creator as well as the more features unit creator ( I know the reason why was because graphical and technical issues but still. it felt like a bit of a broken promise to me)

I have this on Xbox but this is totally something I would play on the go! Provided it runs decently on the switch
It probably will run on the switch well, tabs is a low poly game that doesn't have big arenas, plus the switch has way more beautiful and detailed games. And I'm not saying tabs looks bad, just saying it most likely will run good.
@@vintage-radio I know, even tho games like Doom Eternal and The Witcher 3 are very downgraded compared to the PS and XBOX versions, they still look decent and TABS is way more light than those games, so at least we may get consistent 30fps
@@LeoSan031 i wasn't talking to you, but I would accept 30 fps. Alot of people say that 60fps is the best, and sure its smooth.. but so is 30 fps. But it most likely will run great.

This is a great game. Kind of disappointed they dropped the hero maker and future updates of features for the unit creator but I have wanted this game on Switch for the past 5 years
I'm surprised I'm not the only one who felt a little bit disappointed about the hero maker and unit creator
they said graphic on development issues but yeah ( it does feel like a a bit of a broken promise) and the game is so fun but I just really wish they did the hero thing and updates unit creator
Well, technically they will update the Unit Creator with the Neon Items, and the unnanounced update will most likely have to do with the unit creator since we ain’t getting new factions.
yes I'm fully aware that new items are coming for the unit Creator as well as an unannounced update it's coming but still kind of feel a broken promise they made about the hero unit as well as importing custom models
@@changsiah2 Being honest I don’t remember the custom models thing, I just remember that on the teasers there were more Unit bases like the raptor or Giant one.

@@datironpanda2982 probably something related to optimization, maybe having lots of eyes reduce the FPS, so they closed the eyes to have a decen quantity of FPS

With how much this game lags my computer, I can't imagine the switch can handle too much without serious drawbacks on graphics.
