Didnt realize how much Niners pulled out from that draft (Warner, McGlinchey, Moore and Street), definate Low A High B for the time being. #goldhearted!
I believe we have a very underrated draft picks. we didn't get the superstar player that most would have wanted in the Draft but i believe in Lynch and his staff go Niners
Didn't need a superstar player from the draft. Our superstar players are already signed. We needed some tough scrapers, and fast weapons. We bout to run the NFC! #49ers #ninerempire #ninergang
Year 2 review: McGlinchey: Struggled some in pass protection but overall solid as a rookie. Should continue to grow and take over for Staley in a couple of years. Pettis: Hasn't looked great in the offseason to this point, but flashed late last season. Probably not a #1 but a nice complimentary piece. Warner: A real find, especially in light of the Foster situation. Should anchor the middle of the defense for a long time. Moore: Was out of position as a corner last season, but could have a nice season at safety and may end up there for a while. Street: Questionable pick, and already about to miss another season with knee issues. Reed: Should take over at nickel long term. Can also play safety and return kicks and punts. Nice get. Harris: Head scratcher at the time, but flashed last season and should make the team this year. Taylor: At best a rotational piece, but should make the squad this year. James: Really hoping he makes the squad, but the Niners are stacked at WR this season. At the very least should provide decent trade value. We'll see how they look at the end of the season, but this draft is starting to shape out better than 2017's. McGlinchey, Warner, Moore and Reed look like they'll be key contributors for a long time. Maybe even James if the Niners keep him. I don't want to say it's make or break for Pettis yet, but a lot is expected of him going into this season. So far this regime's drafts haven't been perfect, but at least they're getting several guys that can play every year, as opposed to the previous regime, where they'd get maybe one or two half-decent players.
Every team in the NFC West now has a franchise quarterback. Not every team in the division has an offensive line to protect their quarterback of the future. 49ers knocked it out of the park with McGlinchey even though better football players were on the board. Everybody remembers what happened to Seattle's offensive line last year and unfortunately Dan Schneider did not draft valuable protection help to keep Russell Wilson from being shark food. As well Arizona with a quarterback and a known history of injuries and very little protection at the offense of line. Smart move San Francisco. Making us Niner fans proud another year in the draft. Thank you!
Damn, this was a pretty solid draft class. 3 good starters, 4 really solid depth guys, 1 good return guy, and one guy we haven't even seen play yet because he was hurt. Lynch isn't as bad at this whole draft thing as everyone claims he is.
That 2nd pick in Pettis from the 49ers 2018 draft class has been put into Shanahan’s dog house. I don’t think he’s going to be around as a 49er next season along with Goodwin as they’ve not been very productive this season.
Very solid draft in 2018 hit a homerun with Fred Warner.. good pick in the first Rd Mike Mcglinchey ..Dante Pettis been a disappointment in sophomore season like Richie James ,D j reed and Marcel Harris Like the d-line pick ups... grade A .....
I don’t understand why people are upset it’s like are you a fan or not. We should support every decision and not say anything negative because if you say something negative and a player has a great season makes you look dumb. I seriously think people forget Kyle is smart and will put guys in a position to succeed simple as that.
It’s more of a meh draft then a outrage when I say meh the draft doesn’t really stand out to me besides the 1st round pick because we have a lineman that will protect our QB
49er Empire bitch I've been a 49ers fan for over 25 years and your not pointing out facts your point out your own personal thoughts fool! How you going to say someone's not a fan if they don't trust the pics the GM and coach make.. we can tell your real good at taking orders and not willing to provide your own Outlook you fucking Democrat!
"If he was there we weren't moving" Seeing as he also praised Quinton Neilson (Pick#6), It Sounds like Lynch was strictly thinking Offensive Linemen with that First round Pick *or Trade down*
Ehh as a redskins can I feel like y’all could of done better But all and all I do like drafting a tackle and Pettis those where solid moves Best of wishes and jimmy G a future franchise guy
No reason we had to pass up on one of those RBs on one of those injured safeties. Why not have a back up for McKinnon who could easily come in and be the bell cow if shit went left. In ATL Shanahan had Freeman to Jerick's Coleman. We passed up on Courtland Sutton, who could've been our #1 receiver, and traded up for Pettis. Passed up on Derwin James just to waste all those picks on safeties when we have safeties. I do like some of the picks tho and Pettis could be the next Antonio Brown.
? They have RBs behind McKinnon. Breida and Joe WIlliams. I still want to see what WIlliams can do. I agree they have safeties, but Derwin James IS a Safety. Harris is a 6th round pick and Moore is going to play CB.
What does that even mean or have to do with this conversation? Every college player has weaknesses that they fix, minimize, or fail out of the league. Saying a guy like McGlinchey can't improve is ludicrous. Coaches will see it and work with him. Maybe he's a bust and maybe he's 10 time all pro...don't pretend like you already know because you don't.
Always expect this video every year
Marvin you the G.O.A.T much respect

Damn, this was a pretty solid draft class. 3 good starters, 4 really solid depth guys, 1 good return guy, and one guy we haven't even seen play yet because he was hurt. Lynch isn't as bad at this whole draft thing as everyone claims he is.

THE FANS WERE LIKE WHO TF???
😂😂
Petis will be fine!! Antonio Bryant is 5'-10" 181 and he is A stud.
backwoodsbully Wow, I did not know that he's 5'10". That really puts things into perspective.
Antonio Bryant? you mean Antonio Brown??
Arenas V I mean the 49ers did have Antonio Bryant back in like 2005-06. He was okay. But yeah he meant Antonio Brown😂
Marvin back at it again!
Appreciate the video Marvin
I got a CHUBB watching this vid.
K. STREET IS A BEAST
Marvin would be the #1 pick
I don’t understand why people are upset it’s like are you a fan or not. We should support every decision and not say anything negative because if you say something negative and a player has a great season makes you look dumb. I seriously think people forget Kyle is smart and will put guys in a position to succeed simple as that.
exactly. ppl should just be positive. Shanahans a genius. let him work
It’s more of a meh draft then a outrage when I say meh the draft doesn’t really stand out to me besides the 1st round pick because we have a lineman that will protect our QB
49er Empire your an idiot for real
Adam Long I’m a idiot for pointing a fact? That as fans you should support Kyle and John get outta here you’re probably not even a fan.
That was me calling Jullian Taylor!
top 3 picks looking good
"If he was there we weren't moving"
Seeing as he also praised Quinton Neilson (Pick#6), It Sounds like Lynch was strictly thinking Offensive Linemen with that First round Pick *or Trade down*
Pretty nice draft class
Going to be a good year
Marvin’s back !
Fast! Very fast! We got speedsters folks!
Awesome vid
I really hope Pettis doesn't turn out like Ellington
Don't get why when he played he was great. Our coaching staffs couldn't bring out his talent
He played better than Ellington's whole career in last few games on Niners' uniform.
He's starting to turn like that
Love it
Luv it Marv...Go Niner’s!
BRUHHH fred warner looked so young in that pic. a year and a half later and now he looks like a grown ass man

Yeah I would have drafted Big Bo from bama
Will kentavius be healthy this year?
He'll get his shot tomorrow. Hope he pushes it!
Cant wait for this season 🤘 but did anyone else find the kids really cringe worthy😂
I'm Rick James beeeitch.
NINER GANG
Jullian Taylor is steal
Commentator just exposed mcglincehy weakness. Dobt see him a niner for long.
...right...because every College player enters the NFL a finished product and never improves.
marvin49 yes thats correct. And opposing teams doesnt review and adjust.
What does that even mean or have to do with this conversation? Every college player has weaknesses that they fix, minimize, or fail out of the league. marvin49 ok. You said it.
I think your sarcasm detector is on the fritz. :D
First round pic and you waste it on a limeman who absolutely can't defend against a fast physical pass rusher , SMH
Draft Grade: Eh
All these draft picks and they still will not be good
Dude...Just over a year into a rebuild and they are way ahead of schedule. What are you even talking about?
johnied850914 Top three looked good to me!👀
Thanks Marv!
