The main branch of STREETBEEFS was created in 2008 by Chris Wilmore aka Scarface. Streetbeefs as a concept was created in order to stop street violence with it's "Guns down, Gloves up" movement. The Scrapyard holds monthly fights in our Pacific northwest location. No money is involved in any way, we do not pay fighters or charge any sort of admission to our events. Big shout out to ME. I recommended this fight a couple months ago. Didn't go as I had hoped, but noticed a big improvement in Lights outs technique, except for the silly show boating (don't do that, you're not that good). Hats off to both combatants. height and reach were the deciding factors in this fight.
Was it all down to height and reach? It seemed more of experience and understanding thing to me. Ninja Steve has lots of great tools in his arsenal moving ahead, as does Lights Out...some of these skills over-lap, some don't... Center-line control, and lateral movement are two areas that should be discussed when explaining the deciding factors for victory in this 5 round championship match, wouldn't you say? Footwork could also be a major contributing element to talk about... or Heart, there's an interesting thought, and beautiful to watch too... it was a good fight, agreed... also not a fan of in-fight showmanship, the sport is too dangerous for that type of disrespect and NOBODY is 'that' good...your thoughts?...~~Just me, RD

When I first started watching SB, I didnt take Lights Out seriously but his unorthodox style and deceptive reach paired with his unbelievable stamina made me a true believer in the champ. Well fought, bro deserves his belt

Lights Out is always entertaining. For a man that 'can't box' and 'always gets easy opponents' he has a good win list against some very tough fighters.

Good fight. The crowd yelling instructions need to get in the ring. It's not as easy as you think it is.
Lights Out has improved so much. I remember not too long ago he used to win all his fights by just pressing foward with his head down throwing wild haymakers lol, now he is much more technical! His reach advantage was too much for ninja steve. Good fight though. Tough kid.
Damn lightsout looking sharp as a razor blade one of my favorite SB fighters. But now he's looking much more polished and entertaining

Steve's got the muscle to bang inside but he should have been working the body, not those flailing head shots. Classic tall guy short guy fight. Short guy working left and right shooting body shots under the left jab. Lights used his jab to great effect early and switching to the right lead had Steve a bit baffled. Great fight by Legs. We didn't need the clowning though.

I'm sure it doesn't feel good to be on the receiving end of Lights Out attack. But that technique is sloppy. Looks like he's throwing horseshoes or slinging hash. MMA fighting has spoiled fighting, unless the objective is to mush glancing blows on your opponent? Not too swift. Tighten it up by throwing majority straight punches and not with the side of your glove.
Unsportsmanlike behavior from LO. Why mock your opponent? He’s ahead, WTF? The short guy didn’t listen to his corner at all, when you have short arms you’ll never hide from distance. He should have stayed in close the entire fight, but kept back pedaling.
How this dude name lights out and I never even seen him daze anyone he as no skill at all anyone thinks he dose is lost he throws the same wild punches and there weak I don't get how people always pick him as the winner cuz he don't know people out like his name says so it's the coat tail riden people that vote for his win every time even when he is beat lights stay on should be his new name
I like the confidence but need a little humility just imo lol little man needs to get inside looks like lights out finally learned to straighten his punches out went right back to shooting from the hip once he started to fade good fight though
