  • I once saw cough syrup coffee on a menu at a cafe.
According to the menu, it's made with a popular cough syrup called Nin Jiom Pei Pa Ko.
Nin Jiom Pei Pa Ko is made with Sichuan Fritillary, Loquat, Adenophora, Poria, Pummelo Peel, Platycodon, Pinellia, Schisandra, Trichosanthes, Polygala, Ginger, Chinese Licorice, Menthol and Honey.
I personally love how minty and sweet the cough syrup is.
So today I mastered the courage to explore something new and decided to put it together and see if it's good!
    What I used
18 grams light medium roasted coffee
    36 grams espresso
    200ml fresh milk
    2 tea spoon cough syrup.
Overall: It's different! I like it.... I know! it's really addictive. I love how the minty and sweetness goes together with the coffee. Feels really balanced.

It’s cough syrup, not caramel syrup but I see how it could work. Next thing you know all the kids gonna mix it with sprite

why don't you just add a little hot water like I do and make a tea? because you weakening the herbal medicine by adding coffee and too much water.
