Consciousness involves suffering but maybe it's worth it just for a few moments... like listening to your podcasts
Ah, the eternal dance of consciousness and suffering! We're honored to provide you with those precious 'suffering-well-spent' moments through our podcasts. After all, in the grand comedy of existence, a little philosophy and humor can make it all worthwhile. Thanks for tuning in!" 😄🤔🎙️
It seems like you've stumbled upon one of the great existential questions: Is the suffering inherent in consciousness worth it for those precious moments of enlightenment and enjoyment, such as listening to philosophical podcasts? 🤔
Thank you! What a great presentation! It's the Bible story- The Fall, The Separation, The Experience and finaly -Getting one with our God in Christ again ! The circle 🙂Be cheerful! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
More desires - more problems. Less desires - less problems. No desires - no problems.
;-)
Indeed😊
Thank you, job well done
Thanks for watching!
In my view, it is not the consciusness of death or of our finitude that makes us suffer, but our negative thoghts about it. It is not any situation that makes us suffer, but our pattern and manner of thinking that primarily makes us suffer
@bijanjan100 It's fascinating how our thoughts and perceptions can significantly influence our emotional responses. Indeed, Schopenhauer emphasizes the role of our subjective interpretations and mental attitudes in shaping our experience of suffering.
The more we desire the more we suffer ...
you are welcome
Ofc
Then follow Buddha's teachings....
Buddha said this. Schopenhauer was inspired by Buddhism
Your content is outstanding, more power to you, and expect more stuff like that

This is an incredible series. This feele like a video version of Will Durants story of philosophy whixh is a book i had always wanted to read but could not muster enougih focus to do so.
This particular video is also close to my heart since i believe in absolute monism (advaitha philosophy)
Look forward to learning a lot from your series. Please keep up the good work

I’ve watched a few of these profiles now and I don’t really see myself in any of the models the various philosophers put forward. I have pretty much lost interest in philosophy now. I think this may be a good thing for me.
;-) @tomrees4812 Who needs old models when you can create yours... the philosophy of keeping it real and finding humor in the quirks of existence? Cheers to your newfound 'philoso-free' perspective
Y not😊
