Honey I'm Good live is simply Tim saturating all the speakers (and likely blowing out one or two drivers). It's probably the costliest song to be played live 😂
He has blown the entire sound system doing that song before... in concert, derailed the whole show, lol He has also brought down ceiling tiles in a concert hall with it.
I love, love love Emily! You need to do all your reactions with her. I love you, too, Brad, but Emily just cracks me up! Tim has blown many speakers, he's also hit a really, really low note during a live concert and had the ceiling tiles started coming falling down onto the stage, and into the audience because he shook the whole building. There's nothing like seeing these guys in concert. Your seat and everything around you shakes. And when Tim goes really low, you get this pressure in your chest and you start to wonder if you're having a heart attack. They are also very comical and usually play off the audience and each other. BTW- Adam is off to the side because the guys are tired of being spit on. They often joke about that, too. Thanks, you two. This was an amazing reaction. Now you know why we all requested this.
The video titles Home Free Concert Morrison, IL 8/19/15 is the one where Tim blows out the speaker when he hits that growly low note. That's just one of the numbers they perform during this video. The audience's reactions make it so much better. At almost half an hour it my be too long to do a reaction to but it's really not to be missed. I love it when Austin does that little stomp-point down thing. That's so funny.
I have seen Home Free live about 3 times at various stages in their career and every time, EVERY TIME, Tim hits those pedal notes, you feel it in your bones. In. Yo. BONES. Your entire body vibrates. I cannot wait until they start touring again!
When live shows finally start happening again, it is a moral imperative that y’all go see them live! Their shows are so much fun! And when Tim hits all of his low notes, you can feel it vibrate in your chest! It’s EPIC!!
this matches the Mayday cover song. Up front from left to right Rob is the big guy with the beard he sings second tinner and falsetto, in the middle is Tim he's singing falsetto right now and he's the Bass, Austin sings first tenor, and also sings falsetto! Now the two in the back starting on the left, the beatboxer is Adam, he's magical. Next is Chris, who looks like Leonardo DiCaprio, he sings second Tenor, also Alto which is mid-range, and Baritone as you just heard! Also check out the songs Mayday, Ring of fire, Helplessly hopeful, How Great thou art and Elvira. The guy in the black hat you say is no longer you'll see him, or Adam Chance the guy in the black hat as you refer to him is Chris, or Christopher Rupp, but beatboxers brother and co-founder of the group. There , or not there, he's always in the money.
Loved your reaction. I have been to 6 of their concerts and Tim's low notes vibrate your body and your chair. Live is unbelievable and I can't wait for them to be able to do live concerts again.
The reason Adam (the beatboxer) stands by himself alot, is because he spits alot while he beatboxes. And, the guy in the cowboy hat is Chris, Adam's brother.
It's actually more about placement of each part. Bass with percussion, baritone with tenors, tenors next to high tenors, etc. PTX does the same with Mitch always in the middle. Its what we all learn in choir up to professional singing. Placement of sound is highly important especially with a capella groups.
There was a video where he and Tim had to(seemingly accidentally) share a mic, and the poor things! Adam was trying to let Tim be heard while still needing to move the mic in certain ways to get the right sounds, all while trying to make sure he both didn’t hit Tim in the face or spit on him 😂
So...is Adam the reason there were no seats purchased in the first three or four rows when I ordered my Victoria BC ticket? Uh-oh. Where can I find a small sheet of clear plastic?
The guy no longer with the group is one of the original founders along with his brother, the beat boxer, both from Mankato Minnesota. Rob Lundquist is also from Minnesota. We're proud of all them. Austin and Tim have been amazing addition. Tim did songwriting for years, before being in the group.
(Chuckling as she leans back at his first 2 bass drops - You ain't ready...) This is even MORE impressive from the audience. I was at a show almost 2 years ago and this song shook the room... from floorboards (the floor was concrete) to rafters. Next suggestion for the two of you is Home Free Meant to Be with Lisa Cimorelli. It and Home Free I'm Alright vs the Filharmonic from the Sing Off shows off their entertaining side.
I love your reactions but I have to say I really have a good time when your fiancé is with you. I love the way you two react together, and you just seem like such a lovely couple 🙂 reminds me of me and my husband. We've been married for 10yrs together for 16yrs and it's just the same vibe. Lots of love to you both from the emerald isle 🇮🇪 P.S I still love your solo reactions btw 🙂
I always love it when reactors watch the concert version of this, it's just such fun, and really gives an insight into their personalities, as well as Tim's ridiculous range. Emily is wonderful, and she both her physical reactions and her insight into the guys are so worth watching. Adam Rupp doesn't always get banished to the side of the stage, but you do have to watch beat-boxers, they spit. 😀 For a couple of other songs that are great in the concert versions, try 9-5, and a song that they never did an official video for, Don't It Feel Good.
I saw a live steamed show with Tim and Austin last weekend. They sang Your Man and some of my favorites, Snow Globe and I’ve Seen. Yep, I was not ok, in a good way. Hearing them sing live is incredible. Wow, I miss live music.
Funniest reaction, EVER lol. Tim did sooo good, I think he broke the subwoofers 🎉 Adam Rupp the beatboxer and the others did a great job to🎉 I love Home Free😊
They are definitely extremely entertaining at a live show! If you’re front row or close to front row, you’ll feel those low notes in your seat and your whole body (also when Adam’s doing his throat bass stuff in his beatboxing solo)! As usual, I enjoy your reactions, Brad, and I really loved Emily’s reaction!! ☺️
You often see Tim near Adam vs the three harmonizers in separate groups because it's easier to sing that way. Bass and beatboxing keeps the tempo and those harmonizing are near each other to help keep pitch!
A couple of fun covers by Home Free are All About That Bass and Hillbilly Bone. And for a bit of shock value check out Mayday! It'll blow your mind! Keep up the awesome reactions! ❤
Blue shirt is the beast known as Rob Lundquist. Black shirt is the amazing Chris Rupp who was replaced by the equally amazing Adam Chance. The vocal percussionist is the freak of nature we know and love aka Adam Rupp.
You two are a blast! Loved your reactions! Isn’t this great? Tim is something. Adam Rupp is the beatboxer, Austin Brown the high tenor, Rob Lundquist(beard and glasses) the tenor, Chris Rupp in this version is the founder and brother of Adam now replaced by Adam Chance who we call Chance and Tim Foust of course. Tim is crazy good. They’re all good. Keep reacting!
Emily really enjoyed this. Hopefully, you guys will have the opportunity to see them live someday. I wish their live videos would be recorded with a line recording to the camera. There is always too much reverb in their live recordings, and they still sound great.
I LOVE ME SOME HOME FREE ALMOST AS MUCH AS CHRIS STAPLETON!!!!!! IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW "YOUR MAN" WAS WRITTEN BY CHRIS STAPLETON & RECORDED BY JOSH TURNER WHO MADE IT A #1 COUNTRY MUSIC SONG!!!!!!
I hope you don't mind, but I do have a few recommendations for music videos that I believe both of you would enjoy. The first is another Peter Hollens collaboration, this time with Mexican singer/UA-camr Malukah; it's a song called "Baba Yetu", musical piece that won awards despite being little more than a translation of the Lord's Prayer into Swahili. The second piece is one that I'd love to see your lady's reaction to with a little forewarning as possible. From the animated movie "How to Train Your Dragon 2", Peter Hollens adapted "Where No One Goes" in a VERY special way. Again, best reacted to with as little warning as possible. Finally, the last Peter Hollens video that I'd like to recommend is "A Thousand Years", a lovely song written specifically for the TWILIGHT movies. However, for this video, Peter sang the song as a duet with his wife, Evynne, who is just as talented as her husband. Bonus: the song was filmed when the Hollenses sang it at her sister's wedding. Here's hoping that you like these suggestions! Cheers from a Canadian fan!
Thanks for reacting to this one. I've been subscribed since you first stared. Your one of my favorites and I love your fiance.....she's so cute and funny. For Christmas Sunday they do have two songs from their upcoming Christmas Album. "What We need is Love" and my favorite "Christmas in LA" . Tim is the lead in first song and Austin is the lead in the second. There's no video. .......so I don't know if you react to just music. Thanks for showing this. God bless and stay safe.
I just subscribed because I like how both you guys react and support each other in the videos, also I am a big home free fan ( home fry) and love how you guys support and react to them
Love your reaction. If you want to see a performer with awesome stage presence great audience interaction and off the chart vocal range react to some of Australia's John Farnham. He's 70ish now and he's still got it but back in the '80's & 90's, well just awesome. Aussie legend. Subbed🙂
I think Emily would like this and so I would like watching her move. I like re-watching the bass’s tenor voice when he sings “Let’s Get it on” mashed up with Austin, the countertenor singing “thinking Outloud” and the dramatic acting of Fox and Hound. I’ll make it easy, here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/Mm9G-tWrxNs/v-deo.html
If you want to see Tim bust the speaker system as well as the gang lose it (with this song) watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/cXU_xd3EtdI/v-deo.html The time stamps for this event are from 7.20 to 12.20. That whole show's good for a fan filmed one, but that's the section you'll want to get to first. ;)
Throwback!
Hey we gotta catch up on anything we may have missed along the way! 😂 thanks for watching!
Thank you and all of Home Free for the wonderful gift of music!
I seen in a video where he starts out at G0 when he does that.
Tim Foust awakes from his slumber to bless the comment section.
@@sjgavenger37 what about tim STORMS
Can we just have her react to a bass battle? She would get to see the gradual progression into the depths
Bass battle? We need a RANGE battle.
@@JoeJBuddha true
@@JoeJBuddha No we don't, been done with Tim, Avi and Geoff and Tim won by a country mile/
Blue shirt is Rob Lundquist. Tim does blow a speaker on this song at another show. Watch Honey I'm Good live version. Tim vibrates the whole audience.

He has blown the entire sound system doing that song before... in concert, derailed the whole show, lol He has also brought down ceiling tiles in a concert hall with it.
Please, react with your Fiancè to the video called "22 times Tim Foust went subwoofer mode", it i'll be very interesting to see her reaction! :)
she should really react to that...
Bass Battle Tim vs Avi vs Geoff.
Now you see why you needed to see the live one. "Not cool, dude." LOL
A live performance of them doing 9 to 5 is awesome, as well.
I love, love love Emily! You need to do all your reactions with her. I love you, too, Brad, but Emily just cracks me up! .....and THAT is why you had to react to the live version :) Great to see Emily back on the channel again, and a fab reaction both of you.
There's a great video of them doing this song when Tim blew the speakers at an outdoor concert.

Saw them live at the State theater in Kalamazoo Michigan and yeah... Thought Tim was gonna bring the place down a few times... Lol
Tim hit a C#5 and a G0 in this video

Let your fiance listen to Voiceplay as Geoff Castellucci sings the Bass off of "The Oogie Boogie Song"!!! Those guys are crazy Good, as well!!!
Great reaction. Emily, don't hurt Brad please I like watching the both of you lol p.s. I am subscribed
Tim's just like ok you other guys can just exit stage left I've got this handled all on my own lol
If you watch their concert at Morrison IL Tim actually blows a speaker.
I am new here so I just wanna ask if you've reacted to their Thinking Out Loud cover? If not could you do that too? Really love your reactions a lot!
