James, I had been considering the Reidel Performance champagne glasses. I noted the pros and cons. Could you recommend tulip shaped champagne glasses via video that you score above 92, the Reidel Performance? Thank you.
Performance is a wine glass that could be markedly better if they removed the striations --it is distracting. But I do love the confidence of the overall design; stem connecting to foot is where so many brands so wrong. Also, an impressive foot looks great on a table setting but serves a practical performance of reducing wobble and potential tipping. I have been disappointed with so many poorly designed Tulip-Egg Shaped wine glasses recently that I felt compelled to upgrade this glass by two points. I'll be updating with a new video review--while it is going from a 92 to 94 Points I thought it was the best thing to do with respect to how this glass performs and how my calibration with other wine glasses pointed me in this direction. I am working on acquiring Riedel Extreme Rose/Champagne Wine Glass - I love this glass and half as much as Performance. As soon as I get a set I'll record a video and post. Thank you!
I would say it is good not a great glass. I am distracted by the Performance bowl design - it is not easy to look through. Veritas is my preferred Champagne glass from Riedel.
@@jamesthewineguy Interesting! What about the relatively new Riedel Veloce? Taking a deep-dive into the world of stemware and your videos. are very helpful!

Can you review the Reidel Veloce Champagne glass and the Reidel Dom Perignon glass?
What's your favorite tulip shape glass?
Yes, the Riedel Dom and then the Veritas glass.
That one glass looks like an ashtray if you cut the stem off :)
Does it stand up to the Veritas? Probably not.
