Mike Boyd, the man of a thousand talents. I can already tell that's what your brand is going to be in a few years. Keep on learning and having fun, Mike!
I recently discovered this channel, and became fascinated. After seeing this video, I decided I had to try it. So, I went to the store and bought a bottle of sparkling cider and a wine glass so I could try my luck. I went outside, and to my surprise, it worked on the VERY first time. It’s amazing the things you can learn when you try. And, when you stumble upon easy things like this, it just makes you willing to try harder to learn new things.
Hey Mike, my name's Jacob I’m from Melbourne Australia and am one of many huge followers of your channel and it's videos. A few of my favourites consist of learning to kick flip, and learning to Heelflip. This skateboarding series is very enjoyable and I hope that you can make some more of them to please not only me, but all the others who also enjoyed it. I suggest learning to do the two Varial Flips. Varial Heel Flip, and Varial Kick Flip. A Varial Kick Flip, is a Kickflip in a Pop Shuv-it and a Varial Heel Flip is a Heel Flip in a Frontside Pop Shuv-it. It shouldn’t be too hard since you already know how to do the basics. I hope you can consider these ideas and keep making great vids. Good luck.👍

I absolutely loved this video! Great to know that such a cool party trick is soo easy. It was quite enjoyable to watch and see you show off your other learned skills whilst doing all of this.
Two days ago for my birthday I wanted to try to "saber" a champagne bottle with a flute glass. I got it easily on first try! Thanks a lot, nice videos man :)
I'm seeing this video because I watched Alton Brown saber a bottle. Now I know it's possible to be done with a glass! Thank you. I'm gonna try this at my wedding.
the saber is made of metal... a flexible material that absorb alot of energy. while glass is very hard and doesnt compress/flex/bend so alot more energy is transfered when you hit the lip and cause a bigger chock.
I think it has more to do with the champagne bottle itself rather than what u r using to saber it. It seems that there is indeed a weak point on the bottle and that the pressure buildup from the carbonation may be contributing to the acceleration of the cork and glass.
Can't help but be cheesy, I just found your channel yesterday and all of your videos make me smile like an idiot. It's incredible to see all the random skills someone can acquire with just a little practice. This one is extremely tempting to try but I don't wanna have a load of glass fragments in my hands by some stupid mistake :D

They didn't know this was possible so when I shot the head of cleanly the first try they were pretty impressed. Thanks mate, you made me seem less of a failure to the rest of my family :D
Dude! I tried this at my cousin's 30th birthday the other night and got it right on the first try! It was awesome and I impressed a lot of people! Thanks man!
Well, I guess you don't type a lot in that case. Definitely underrated because most people don't use it, even though it's the best layout. It's like the metric system. It's also underrated in the United States because it's better than the system they use, but most people still don't use it. How is being able to type faster not useful?

This technique where you locate the seam of the bottle and then only moving the glass(or whatever you want to use) a shorter distance is actually the proper way to do it with a sabre aswell. This metod is both more consistent and gives a cleaner cut than going from the stem of the bottle. Next time you are going to sabre a bottle, check out the results use get with the different techniques! :)
