Really surprised how close the square footage is. I like the fact that you left the YMCA decals on, I think that makes you hidden in plain sight. Both couples did a great job in converting your vehicles. Thanks for sharing!
I just brought a 2019 Promaster all built out by roadtrek....I LOVE it....my wife and I travel in it all the time...Im getting ready for a trip to Mexico and Alaska...wish me luck...Trent and Allie ROCK
Factory interior fit-outs can (very often) destroy-them-selves on Alaskan roads, much of the stuff from the "mainstream" converters (often in Indiana) is NOT robust enough in the ROUGH. German, South African (Sud Afrikan), & Australian, conversions are often vastly more robust in service, even if somewhat less "ornate".
Although they’re both great vehicles there’s no way I’d survive without a toilet & bathroom. The best part is that you travelled together a lot & therefore had the best of both! 👍
This was a great video! Loved it! I have been full timing for 6 years in Coaches, Started with a 35' and now have a 40' with slide-outs. I figured I would add RV comparisons for your viewers. Coach: 40' 2004 Georgie Boy Cost: $29,000 Size: 40' x 8' = 320 sq Feet with slides closed 40' x 11' = 440 sq Feet with slides open Living Height: 6' 11" Handeling: Poor when it comes to really bumpy roads. MPG: V8 gas engine. 5-6 MPG Stealth: NONE :) Pros: All the living and storage space you could want, Can tow car for separate excursions. Full sized rooms and bathroom. On-board Generator, large holding tanks (can be offgrid for a month without filling or dumping) Cons: No stealth camping (don't care), MPG, can't camp in tight areas. But I love it every day.
Greeeaatt video...!! Buenos dias .....My favorite feature of the van is Allie & 🐕........My favorite feature of the mini bus is Kaylee & 🐕.......muchas gracias .....hasta luego
Thanks for another great video. I bought the ram promaster off the lot also. The 2500. I have two passenger seats and a bathroom. Sleeps 4 people. Love it
Great video guys, at 6'4" I choose Ford transit. Standing up straight is my #1 concern. Watching these videos is the 2nd thing I do in the morning. Thanks for sharing your adventures
Great video guys! Kaylee you seem so effortless when on camera. If you have bloopers there is still hope for me😃 thanks for keeping it real! Our favorite is probably our composting toilet. It just takes that stress away of “where am I going to go” and seems more like home!
She's a natural, that's why they need a show, to put some real peeps, in real travels, raw, & wild! There's so much garbage on networks, I always wonder why they don't look for stars (like Kaylee) on here all the time! She's a beautiful soul 🙏🌊🦒
Few questions for Trent: 1. what was the total cost of your build out, on top of the $34k purchase? 2. Did you do that work yourself? 3. Did you add solar? AC? Roof ventilation. I love your rig, and this would be the way I would go too. Buy new. V-6 gasoline for max mpg. Do my own buildout. Def add a bath. Rig for max stealth.
After weighing all options I think I well keep my sailboat, we went 321 miles ( key west to Spanish Wells in the Eleuthera Islands) and spent 0 money all fuel, plus we don't have to drive for miles looking for a place to camp and never have to worry about the cops knocking on our door, but in all fairness to you guys, we do have a motor home that we well be moving back on to after this little sailing adventure is over......
Thanks for sharing your opinons. Very informative. I wish I was young again! Wishing all of you bledsings for continued safe and happy travels. It's been fun wstching. 🙏❤🐶🐭
I would say a van built same as Trent and Allie. It’s the best built. I’ve checked so many vans , busses and motor homes all kind of name brands but my favorite of all is Trent and Allie
Oh my goodness, I was just noticing how poised and awesome your narrative delivery was in this video!! So the bloopers were even more cute!!!! Great job, truly.
I love this video, I have a shuttle bus I'm converting but I also like the pro master too . Because of the stealthy look but I wanted the wider space of the bus .
I saw a video yesterday that showed a ProMaster with a slide built in. The man was a genius when he built out his van. The 2 things I must have is to be able to stand and use a bathroom on-board.
I like the openess of the van but def want a potty...can always shower outside w/a solar bag...i would make a potty that looks like a hidden chair or bench seat
If both vehicles put on 50,000 miles the depreciation of the Pro Master would likely be around $10 to $12 thousand dollars. While the bus well maintained might just sell for it's original price. The bus is a good deal if you can tolerate its shortcomings and the Pro Master is a good deal if you can tolerate the depreciation of a new vehicle.
This really helps me to clear up my mind. I was thinking of getting a minibus, but after I heard from your advices I ended up going with a van. Great job, you guys.
A very good video. I choose the bathroom and the Ram Promaster ! But the school bus have a share place very interesting. Nice trip I follow you each day from the first day.
Either of these is much better build quality than the offerings made by RV companies. Will never have one of those flimsy units again. Great days and safe travels wished for you all as always !
Loved loved LOVED this video! So informative. I love both vehicles & I can't say which I love more either. Your bus has such warmth & character but a bsthroom sure is clench!
@@aslbalkanlay8092 I also would prefer then van life.. When I was still driving over the road I was expediting in an extended Chevy Hi-top cargo van..for 7 years.. Had everything I needed to live on the road and still had space for 2 pallets for freight.. So to have the full entire space of a Van would be a luxury To me.. My 4 ft. of space allowed me to have a bed a potty/shower Kitchen/food prep. And storage.. So having a complete 12 to 14 for the space to do that Would be absolutely luxury
We just settle on a small travel trailer. As soon as we finish some upgrades, I'm going to christen it by lighting the awesome candle I got from the better half and starting our sticker collection with you guys! What an inspiration.
Excellent comparison. I really want a pro master. We bought a new 2018 Grand Caravan in October, I couldn't talk the hubby into a pro master. My gas mileage in town is 16-17, and 22+ on the highway. Van was 35k, with options I really didn't need. I may try to camp a bit out of it this summer but sure wish I could build out a promaster. I think Trent and Allies van is perfect.
Love that you guys are so positive and inspiring, I've showed your videos to all my close friends and they love it. Its brought a different light to their lives. Sending love and good vibes.
I love the space of the bus, however I think for portability and driving regularly which is why you live in a mobile home the van is also better. Thanks for the video, this has helped my husband and I to decide what to look for!
I love your videos you should end it with bloopers all the time that was hilarious it's nice to see that you guys are real it doesn't always have to be refined and rehearsed love it
I see the positives on both vehicles, however I think Im more of a van fan. Great video and waaay funny. Yiu should imvlude at least 1 blooper in all your videos. I love my coffee/DOnt Stop Belizeing mornings.
Our bus 2002 shuttle bus 7.3 diesel 24 feet long 16 feet inside. we are always changing something, so the projects never end. Its a little to big for a standard parking space unless you back in. There were so many factors that we considered when we bought this bus. There is no unicorn. Whatever you have, you can make work. the bottom line is GET OUT AND TRAVEL!!!!! (and have fun :0 )
Trent, I know you have a loan on your van so the question is what do you think your depreciation value is after say a year of wear and tear verses your loan balance ? From Saskatchewan..
Technically you could have a bathroom. It depends on the layout. I'm living in Chevy Express wheel chair van. I'm 6.2 and stand fully in it. But what i did is i put the bed in the front towards the cab. It's a bench that turns into a bed. Instead of the classical wide way from a foton it's longitude way. So its on rails and the board come out and form the platform. I use a Japanese mattress. And in bench mode i fold the mattress and use it as cushion. Given that i have the longest express van. I have the whole back as counter space. And i was thinking about putting a shower under the bed. But i still don't have water yet. So step by step.
Hey Nomadic Movement (Kaylee and Jordan) & (Trent & Allie)!!! This was a great comparison between both of your vehicles. Thank you ALL so much for sharing. 😀 😎
The links for the toilet and the shower are the same in your list of resources. Besides this....the choice of van or bus can be depend on the things available at the time you have and resources at the time. A van can be even bigger than a small bus and some vans are huge. Even some vans have too many windows and I was thinking about fewer windows would be more secure. Still, which would take more time/work to finish and make it road worthy.
LOL I loved the bloopers. :D Thanks for posting this my husband and I are about to get started in Van/Bus life. Just paying off a few more bills and changing jobs so we can work on the road. But we are both back and forth on should we get a Van or a Bus. So I sent this to him so he could see it I hope it helps us out. Taking that step to buying is so hard but so exciting.
Another good one guy's I'm still looking for my own, I'm just letting the right one come my way I search everyday looking for the the right situation and following you youtubers for guidance Thank-you so much
Wait till the end at 9:16 to see Kaylee’s bloopers 😂😅
They were hilarious 😂
So funny :-)
😂🤣
Makes it more real. People think it's one take. It takes time to put a good video together. Thanks guys
The bloopers were the best! Do this more!
I definitely love the bloopers at the end. Just a hint, end more of your videos with your bloopers LOL.

I dont. Real do need to make one. There's just 1000 already.
@@addison888 So what? I love seeing them. They ALL give me different ideas. I want to see yours, and I'm sure others do, too!
Guys, a bloopers video is a weekly MUST!! 🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌
Love the compactness of the vans, but I’ve been so taken by the busses. There is just something about them that makes them so full of character.
I loved the comparison of the bus and the van
Love that top Kaylee. Bright colors like that look fantastic esp on sunkissed skin! Heart you guys!!
Our plan was to get a chevy 5 window mini bus with a duramax, but we happened to find a 11 window international full-size bus! For cheaper to

Such a good and honest appraisal of both vehicles! Thanks. Kaylee - you're awesime!
Love it!! Just boost the bus up and get some really good axles thrown in maybe even some beefy tires and you’ll have no problem going off road a bit
Promaster is what i want. Love the layout. It would be me and my cat. Lol . Love the ovan/stove
Your new friends seem like great people! Glad you found them!
I am with Allie and Trent. You may have a narrower van but that would be the first thing on the to do list/must have list.
That was great! Loved the bloopers.
Me too
Congratulations THAT is how you share screen time !!!!

That is so funny your bus is for Bangor Maine. I kept thinking I recognize the Darling ad. Now I know why.
Loved this video, was surprised that the cost of building it out wasn't included in the comparisons. ♡
True, good point. We are doing a build out right now and man oh man does it add up.
