Streight up you are awesome! Along with Chuck you've become my favorite builder because you get it. I'm pushing 70 and my bride has become afflicted with Alzheimer's. It's a sucky disease but the hardest part is that it tends to make everyone and everything involved in her care completely home centric. As her sole caretaker I've figured out that pretty much everything we need will fit into bus. We're hoping to have a 40 foot dog nose for me to build out in the next few months. Just to add, when you talk about the safety stuff it's from the same point of view my wife has always expressed and it's something I need to keep in mind, so thank you!

Nice conversion. You put some good thought into this build. Being from south west Georgia (I usually say we are from almost Florida) I would have never thought of adding heated floors. Had them when I was in Korea and fell in love with them.
Boy, I hear you about the epsom salt baths! I go to dog obedience trials which means a lot of tromping around on hard floors. I could sure use a bus like this for my dog events!

This is probably the smartest rig build I've ever seen so far. I've watched dozens and dozens of these videos and saw people design and build a schooly with all the custom creature comforts, but this rig was build with contingency avoidance in mind. I absolutely love the mindset behide it. Very extremely helpful when I finally find a contractor to help be build mine this year. Hope to see you all out there. Joe Figueroa

I love the foresight that went into little planning odds and ends, like the dividing wall between the driving and living quarters. All in all this is an incredibly thoughtful and well-executed project. As a single guy eyeballing skoolie life, this vid is pretty much exactly what I needed to get a fire started under my butt! with more solar power, I can see it would be nice to add a mini split air conditioner in the back... where the snowboard is hanging and the compressor out on the back deck..
Funny… thats exactly what i added for the buses new owner 🤙 The rig now has about 2200w solar, eg4 lithium battery bank with victron system components … and a 12k mjni split in place of the snowboard

At 8:07 she says you can make it anywhere as long as you can make the turns. Many times you are going to find yourself in a situation where you CAN'T turn around. Scout the area ahead on foot or preferably by car ( your tow vehicle). Good luck!

GET military rig or U.S.F.S. box van with good working(!)..4WD if u can WITH good traction tires. Also (!)get versed on repairs & parts sources! I seriously want this local guy's 70's era M-71 "Deuce&aHalf" 6WD. Dont like the river-fording height chassis frame but cld lower hgt a few inches by putting axles above the leaf springs. Then just box out living space I want

I don't think you realize most people can't just fix everything under the sun like a tiny girl genius . My mind runs a million a minute with ideas. So I get all the out of the box person ables. Your extremely informative and I'll bet you figure how this would work or not work in your head just looking at everything the room you have to work with etc. you didn't plan anything on paper and while you're working on one project your brain is glancing at this and that starting to work out all the other projects that you know is something that is needed for a fully self contained mobile home .
I love your bus! Your heating system is amazing. I love the tub and can see your Navy roots in the deco 💙My motivation takes me WAY off the beaten path so my rig can get up those tight FS roads and high elevation-much smaller but home. What's funny is I'm adding more power for working on the road...my current system has served my 'non work' lifestyle well but I need to add power to support internet and running a computer for 8 hours a day...oh well, gotta earn money one way or another.

I just bought a 40 ft snub nose school bus and watching this has given me the idea that I made the right idea and I can do this!!!🙏🏽🇨🇦

I don't think you realize most people can't just fix everything under the sun like a tiny girl genius . My mind runs a million a minute with ideas. So I get all the out of the box person ables. Your extremely informative and I'll bet you figure how this would work or not work in your head just looking at everything the room you have to work with etc. you didn't plan anything on paper and while you're working on one project your brain is glancing at this and that starting to work out all the other projects that you know is something that is needed for a fully self contained mobile home .

I love your bus! Your heating system is amazing. I love the tub and can see your Navy roots in the deco 💙My motivation takes me WAY off the beaten path so my rig can get up those tight FS roads and high elevation-much smaller but home. What's funny is I'm adding more power for working on the road...my current system has served my 'non work' lifestyle well but I need to add power to support internet and running a computer for 8 hours a day...oh well, gotta earn money one way or another.
