Wonders Oh no a character that was only shown to talk to Eren and developed only in 1 episode betrayed Eren. And the other guy that was only had a full conversation with Eren once is a bad guy I’m balling my eyes out.

Ocean Anderson Ya But did we see it? Maybe in some ovas. Also I rewatched season 1 because I showed this anime to someone and watched it with them and after watching it again Reiner had almost no lines. He talked to Mikasa to tell her where Armin was in ep 7. He talked to a tiny bit in ep 8. Then it wasn’t until after the Trost fight he had another line where he talked to Annie after Marco died. Then he had zero lines until ep 17. Plus after Bertholdt talked to Eren in episode 3 he only had one line after that and that was to talk to Ymir. This comment is longer than I excepted but they barely developed them in season 1 let alone their relationship with Eren.
Derrick Johnson I actually believe that. I read the chapter where it showed Reiner’s backstory and how he got the armored titan power because I was impatient and figured there wouldn’t be spoilers and that chapter and the one after that one made me like Reiner more and saw how he use to be like Eren where he struggled. Plus I saw pictures of when he was with them in the training occasionally pop up in my recommended list and it looks like they have a good friendship. That plus the writers new favorite character being Reiner makes me believe your statement.

Yeah, I also felt that it symbolized Reiner finally "cracking" under the pressure. I also thought it was cool how their titan forms showed for a second when the lightning flashes in front of their faces.

I haven't caught up with the manga yet, but I really hope that they aren't as evil as they are portrayed to be. Like you said, Bertholdt was crying so I hope he truly didn't want to harm anyone. Reiner also said that he couldn't decide what's right anymore and that he must "fulfill his duty to the bitter end". I'm guessing that from whatever "hometown" they came from, they were probably brainwashed or coerced into serving them.

I doubt he's crying from the pain since none of the other titan shifters cried or expressed any sort of pain after getting their limbs cut/bitten off. I read quite a bit of the manga since this episode and without revealing anything, I think they were forced into doing because they say some things that make it seem like they don't want to be doing any of this.

Well, AoT has always been about mysteries and confusions, so I let my imagination go wild when watching this episode.
When watching season 3, though, I couldn't resist reading the manga lol.
This channel is lit, just found it and just subscribed. You guys should increase your diversity though either more anime, music or more tv shows or something you can attract lots of people, like Dawyne N Jazz basically. I see a lot of DBZ Super but I don't watch that so I was thinking there was no point of me subscribing but I like your Vibe and can watch AoT I guess. One Piece has an absolutely amazing story and is the only anime (well AoT now that it's back) I watch. Anyway those are just suggestions, at the end of the day do you guys.
