Everyone is like Armin should've died. Yeah I think it's sad that Erwin died, but I feel like it was the natural choice of the show. Everything else would've been weird. As we all know by now the author thought everything through.

I have watched this scene and heard this speech for hundreds of time until now and i still get chills all over each time . I sincerely hope for myself that I never ever get used to this scene .
Also as a student of history and coming from a land which has seen massive bloodshed due to invasions , this is one of the best piece of historical realism ever portrayed in the history of visual arts . I am just thankful that it exists .

This really shows you how AOT is more realistic compared to life, when they said "there's a chance he'll be fine" or "he's going to survive", it goes to show you how much other animes give a child-like optimism in such scenes but AOT really showcase how much truth & pain there is when there's really no other option
other animes with such showcasings are vinland saga, chainsaw man, berserk, black lagoon. Any anime with gore really if anyones interested

I think its more implying Zeke thought they would come up with a plan with a little more dignity then suicide rush. But little did he know Erwin had rippt a bayblade a moment before.
This was crazy!!! I was scream while they were charging, I didn't expect any of this to happen but, this was without a doubt, f****** epic and sad at the same time.
