I couldn't agree with you more! I have a Shorkie and a mini Bernedoodle. Big difference in size, but same intense chew energy. The cheese sticks are great...and when you have a little nub, you can soak them in water for 5minutes and microwave them into a cheese puff - so there is minimal waste. You can't keep them forever and if they aren't interested anymore, toss them as they could become a choke hazard. As for the bully sticks, they are a great chew and definitely pricey. My dogs prefer the Pawstruck brand...and believe me, we have tried MANY brands on Amazon based on cost/size/thickness. Some smell different..and we've even tried the "extra thick"..with the logic that they'd last longer, right? NOPE...they don't like them at all. Our sweet spot is a bacon/cheese stick and the 7" braided bully stick from Pawstruck. Great for finding a bit of quiet work time and they're totally digestible. GREAT video!
I just watched this again. I have to try Himalayan chews. My pomsky is demanding of my time. Spoiled! I have to find more things to keep her busy so I can get things done in the house. She is like the Energizer bunny. She is very loved but, I need to get some things done...going on 2 yrs old.
He's clearly an outlier, especially for a 50/50. The average weight of a Pomsky is 28 lbs, a little bit more for males and a little bit less for females. Yours is trending to be 55 lbs, which is not unheard of, but definitely unusual.
Thanks for the tip. Lots of dogs love them. It looks like they work great for heavy chewers. Beedi used to have one. She played with it for a few minutes and lost interest quickly, unfortunately :(
Cod skins or other fish skins are great, I find! Phantom really goes after them. They don't last the longest as they are just strips of skin, but they certainly keep his attention until he has eaten the whole thing. I bought a 1lb bag of Icelandic+ cod skins on chewy for $40 back in march and I still have about half the bag left. He also has a big box of the Whimzees dental chew treats. Those are another one that don't necessarily last long, but keep his attention until every bit is gone, and they have the added bonus of improving his dental health! He loves the himalayan chews as well, and I also find these last a super long time, and he has to have several sessions of chewing it. Some non-food options that he also really loves are the benebone maple sticks, and the nylon Bark SuperChewer toys. He will pick those out of his toybox first every time!
Thanks for all these tips. Beedi loves fish skin too. We break it into small pieces and use them for her puzzles. She gets dental sticks too, but they only last 2 or 3 minutes :).

Thank you for this video. Really appreciate the breakdown of the different chews.
Glad it was helpful! Let us know how it goes.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions.
Great vid. Lucky Pup has such great, attentive Papas! 👏🤩👍😍
Love the analysis. Great info. Plus, your house is SUPER Clean in every vid😃
LOL, that's because we don't use a high resolution camera and don't film under the couch 🤣😂🤣.
You are so kind. Thanks 😘.
Rokkit loves the Y shaped chew bones. They keep him occupied for months before he needs a new one.
Thanks so much for the suggestion :)

Give it a try and tell us what you think. At 2 years old, she should start slowing down... a little.
Is there any issue with change in bowel consistency?
We haven't noticed any more any less than with previous dogs, unless you give them too many short-lasting chews :).
In my supermarket, a 12 inch bully stick is 1.50 per inch. It's cheaper for my dog to chew my couch.
Haha :)
My Pomsky just reached 47 lbs and he is only 8 months old. We tested his dna and he is 50/50. Do a lot of Pomskys get this big?

My 5 month old puppy went threw a large Himalayan chew just as fast as a bullysticks.
Wow!
@James and Laurent have only tried the one time maybe diffrent brand would be better.
my pomsky is going to town on a bully stick as i watch this lol
Haha
💜
:)
Her little happy dance at 8:23 😂 My Eskie does that too when he gets something new
So cute 😍!
Elk antlers work great for my dog. It takes days for her to finish it.

Elk antlers are like Lifesavers. My pomsky chews up everything. In our kitchen part of our island is chewed up completely
My palm ski when we stopped giving her chews she decided to bury them all and then one day she dug it up right in front of me it was hilarious
Haha :)
Dolcetto is not very picky
Consider yourself lucky :)
💜
Thanks :)
The queen is always beautiful!
Haha, if only you knew when she's off camera.
What if your breeder doesn’t know how big the pomsky out of the litter
A reputable breeder should know, after trial and error. For a first time breeder, it is difficult to tell.
Just recently got a 2nd gen pomsky named Kodi and he’s an absolute blast, and is super loyal
Does he chew a lot?
I need something for teeth smell bad too
Could be the topic of a future video. Thanks for the suggestion.
💜
:)
My Nova loves socks and wallets(and all cards within it)
Haha. Luckily, Beedi never really was into sox :)
@@JamesandLaurent my Nova is a dead ringer for Breedi cept for a double line running down her nose between her eyes
